Capítulo 42: Killing the Enemy

"That won't happen, period," Liu Kang answered confidently. An assassin wouldn't take a big risk if they aimed for a target in a city with laws like the City of the Golden Shield.

Hearing Liu Kang's answer, his sister calmed down. But she doesn't know that Liu Kang is trying to hunt down the killers.

Night came. Liu Kang tells his sister to sleep first and not cultivate because he plans to chase the killer.

As usual, Xiao Wu immediately hugged Liu Kang while sleeping, which gave Liu Kang a headache.

"Hmmm, can you not do that? I'm an adult." Liu Kang said in a tired tone that made his sister frown.

"Okay. But you have to sleep next to me. Don't stay away from me." Xiao Wu's orders.

"Alright, alright, I won't be far." Liu Kang replied.

Xiao Wu smiled as she heard Liu Kang's answer. They talked for a while, and Xiao Wu fell asleep soon after.
