Capítulo 26: Both Are The Same Person?

Lucien was startled when he heard a soft, chirpy voice coming from behind him. "Tsk, tsk, another day, another girl, huh, lecher?" the voice said, dripping with sarcasm.

As he turned around, his eyes widened in astonishment.

Although he had a recollection of Lucien's younger stepsister's appearance through his memories, seeing her in person was a completely different experience, just like when he was presented with the awe-inspiring scenery of Devereux's estate.

As Lucien laid eyes on his younger stepsister for the first time, he was struck speechless by her breathtaking beauty, just as he had been when he first saw Charlotte's lovely face.

'Damn it! How lucky was the original Lucien to be surrounded by such beautiful women!'

'And to think he would often visit brothels with these delicacies served in front of his plate, what a waste of opportunity!'

Lucien couldn't help but curse the original Lucien in his mind, unconsciously revealing his inner fantasies and desire that he had held back for a long time.

Vivienne Montclair's hair was the trademark of the Montclair family, a beautiful shade of blonde that was prone to shining like gold in the sunlight.

Unlike Charlotte's long, shimmering black locks, Vivienne's hair was cut into a stylish bob, a reflection of her eccentric personality that set her apart from most nobles who preferred to keep their hair long.

Her eyes, a purplish hue, seemed to emit an enigmatic and mischievous aura, as if she was up to something.

At the moment, she wore a purple silk dress that hugged her curves perfectly, accentuating her slender figure.

The dress had a plunging neckline that gave a glimpse of her fair and cute cleavage. She wore a long coat over her dress, adding a layer of elegance to her outfit.

"Pervert!" snapped Vivienne, and Lucien jolted out of his daze, meeting her intense glare.

Lucien cleared his throat, trying to organise himself. "What are you doing outside at this hour?" he asked Viviene.

"And what are you doing staring at my chest?" Viviene shot back.

Lucien coughed loudly in embarrassment, caught off guard by Viviene's blunt words. "You're overthinking it, you're just a kid. What assets could you possibly have that's worth my attention?"

"Really?" she said, leaning in closer to him and pressing her breasts together, almost as if she was intentionally showing them to Lucien.

And Lucien, being a man, couldn't resist taking a peek at her chest, his gaze subconsciously drawn to her cleavage.

'Hmmm... a little underdeveloped but not too small. I guess age must play a significant role in some area development, huh?'

"Hah! I caught you! You're just pretending to be innocent, but you're really just a perverted hooligan!"

At that moment, another woman appeared and approached them. She was tall and strikingly beautiful with long, golden blonde hair that cascaded down her back. Her sharp chin and narrowed eyes gave her a look of inquiry as she walked toward them. As she stood next to Vivienne, it was clear that they shared a strong resemblance.

"What's wrong? I could hear your piercing voice all the way from the training ground," the woman inquired with a helpless look directed at Vivienne.

"Sister!" Viviene exclaimed and ran towards the tall woman, hugging her. "I think our step-brother has set his sights on us," she said with worry in her voice.

"Well, you see, just now he was feasting his eyes upon my breasts like a hungry beast," Vivienne pouted unhappily.

The tall woman looked down at Vivienne's chest and remarked bluntly, "Breasts? You mean that flat board?"

"Sister!" Viviene exclaimed loudly and immediately gave the tall woman's arm a sharp smack in protest.

"Although they were just tiny bumps at the moment, I'm pretty sure they would grow up, surpassing even yours!"

Lucien was ignored on the side, but he couldn't help but enjoy the spectacle unfolding before him. Two beautiful sisters discussing each other's chests was quite a sight to behold.

Anyway, Vivienne's older sister, Adeline Montclair, was a truly remarkable beauty. Her tall stature, confident demeanor, and proud bearing were reminiscent of a peacock displaying its elegant plumage with every movement.

However, there was one thing that disturbed him the most about her presence. A brightly colored arrowhead was pointing at her from above, and it seemed like neither of the two women had noticed it.

'Is this part of the system too?' Lucien pondered before tapping his glabella twice and directing his inquiry to Auman.

[Indeed,] confirmed Auman. [The brightly colored arrowhead you were seeing is part of the navigation system. It helps you locate your target challenge easily.]

'What do you mean by 'my target'? Isn't Emilia Leonhart supposed to be my target? Why is the arrow pointing at my step-sister, Adeline?'

'Wait...'

"Emilia?" Lucien called out in a low voice.

"Yes?" Adeline answered without realizing who had called her, but her expression quickly turned into a frown once she realized it was Lucien.

"So basically, I was saying that we should teach this hooli-" Vivienne's words were cut off by a gesture from Adeline. The latter immediately inched closer to Lucien, to the point he could smelt her body fragrance.

"What did you just say, again?" Adeline inquired. Her eyes narrowed sharply.

"Emilia," Lucien added with a smirk. "I was just reminiscing about a passionate moment I had with my past lover. Her name was Emilia."

Adeline immediately glared at him and scoffed coldly. "Scum!"

"Yes! He's nothing but a scum, sister!" Vivienne said in chorus. "Let's go wash up and get ready for dinner."

Adeline nodded and allowed Vivienne to lead her toward the mansion. Just before entering, Vivienne turned around and stuck her tongue out at him mockingly.

Lucien smiled in response and even waved at her. After they had left his view, his thoughts returned to the shocking revelation that Adeline and Emilia were actually the same person!

If that was true, was he going to seduce his own step-sister?!
