The Reaper, realizing it was being pursued, switched to evasive maneuvers. The pilot banked sharply, releasing flares into the sky. Bright flashes filled the air, creating heat signatures designed to throw off missiles. Valeria dodged them easily, her focus locked on the Reaper.
