Capítulo 1: Chapter 1 "Rebirth"

Carter Dean was a renowned British archaeologist and adventurer, celebrated for his expeditions to the Pyramid of Tutankhamun in Egypt and the Manchac Ghost Swamp in the United States.

His adventures were turned into best-selling books in the United Kingdom, with global sales exceeding one million copies.

However, he harbored another lesser-known passion—an avid fascination with the occult and magic.

He had devoured hundreds of magical novels and occult texts, but his absolute favorite was J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series.

He had read these novels more times than he could count, committing each plot and detail to memory.

He was even an honorary member of the official Harry Potter fan club in Great Britain and had enjoyed lunch with the author, J.K. Rowling, on several occasions.

On this particular day, Carter embarked on yet another grand adventure, this time in a remote mountainous region in northern Tibet.

He stumbled upon a mysterious crypt, its entrance adorned with intricate and enigmatic symbols.

Carter recognized these as the ancient Gurunis script, a text originating from the Phoenician alphabet's mother writing system.

It symbolized the mysteries of the universe in Norse mythology and had been comprehended by Odin, the father of the gods, upon the world tree.

Over time, Gurunis had vanished from the world, gradually replaced by the Latin alphabet following the introduction of Christianity to Northern Europe.

The modern runes circulating today, such as ancient Fussak, were the product of extensive efforts by occultists and archaeologists to restore this ancient writing system. However, they remained distinct from one another.

Carter prided himself on his knowledge of ancient scripts, considering it on par with professors at Ivy League universities in the United States.

However, as he gently traced the faded symbols on the stone wall, he was embarrassed to realize he could hardly decipher a single character.

Armed with a powerful flashlight, he cautiously ventured deeper into the seemingly bottomless crypt.

After five hours of traversing its dark, winding passages, he reached a chamber with a stone wall covered in densely packed Guruni magic symbols.

What truly captivated his attention was the massive, spiral-shaped character at its center.

Carter faintly recalled seeing a similar symbol on a Thangka in Tibet's Potala Palace; it seemed to represent "reincarnation" in esoteric religion. As he stared at the cryptic symbol, an eerie sensation washed over him as if he had encountered it before.

Despite his cautious nature, he couldn't divert his gaze from the symbol, feeling an inexplicable pull. In his ears, indistinct murmurs echoed as if he were being beckoned by some unknown force.

He lightly touched the vortex-shaped symbol, grazing its tip.

An imperceptible dark green light flashed in an instant, and an unimaginable event occurred.

The space around Carter distorted beyond comprehension, and in the blink of an eye, he was engulfed by an immensely powerful suction, disappearing from his world entirely.

***

Wiltshire, England, June 5, 1980.

Wiltshire, nestled in southwest England, was home to one of the most influential British wizarding families—the Malfoy family.

The imposing Malfoy Manor stood at its heart, surrounded by meticulously designed gardens with fountains and white peacocks.

The elaborate wrought iron gate offered a surreal sense of passage as visitors entered the estate.

The Malfoy family had enchanted the surroundings with protective spells, ensuring the manor's isolation from ordinary people.

Lucius Malfoy, one of Britain's most prominent figures, was the current master of the manor.

Today, however, the manor bore an unusual atmosphere.

Narcissa Malfoy had just given birth to twins, marking a significant departure from the Malfoy family's centuries-old tradition of single offspring.

Yes, Carter had crossed over.

The good news was that he found himself in the magical world of Harry Potter, the realm he adored. He had been reborn as a baby in Wiltshire, England, in 1980.

The bad news was that he had taken on the role of a villain throughout the Harry Potter series—Skyler Malfoy, the youngest son of the Malfoy family and the twin brother of Draco Malfoy.

It took Carter some time to grasp his current predicament.

While he was thrilled to be in the magical world he cherished, he felt a pang of despair, knowing he had to relive his life from infancy to adulthood.

At this moment, the British wizarding world was embroiled in the first wizarding war initiated by Voldemort.

However, Skyler couldn't actively participate in these developments; he could only eat, sleep, and grow as a baby.

Since the birth of the Malfoy twins, Lucius had seldom remained at home.

He was recruiting followers and working to establish a society where pure-blood wizards ruled over Muggles on behalf of his master, Voldemort.

This state of affairs continued until October 31, 1981, when Voldemort vanished from the wizarding world, and Harry Potter emerged as its savior.

A new chapter in wizarding history began.

Following Voldemort's fall, the power of the Death Eaters crumbled.

The wizarding society slowly returned to normalcy.

Wizards nationwide held celebrations, and tales of the boy who survived spread far and wide.

The Ministry of Magic resumed its operations, and the trials of the Death Eaters commenced in an orderly fashion.

Some loyal to Voldemort refused to accept his defeat and continued to threaten those involved in the trials, resulting in their imprisonment in Azkaban.

Others, like Lucius Malfoy, shrewdly sought to preserve their lives, often claiming they had been forced into service, thus avoiding imprisonment.

Of course, whether backdoor deals influenced these outcomes remained unknown, but such individuals were not uncommon.

The Malfoy family, known for its adeptness at maneuvering through tumultuous times since the arrival of the Duke of Normandy in England, skillfully navigated the political landscape.

With time, emotional scars began to heal, and society intentionally buried painful memories.

Though the wizarding world appeared less turbulent than it truly was, the scars of war ran deep, and secrets remained concealed.
