Capítulo 67: Hinata and Temari

Their training over the last week showed, as both Hinata and Temari moved in grace, yet with lethal precision. Hinata's gentle fists were quick and focused, her Byakugan aiding her to target Temari's chakra points. Temari, despite lacking her fan in this Taijutsu-only spar, demonstrated an innate understanding of her opponent's rhythm, sidestepping and countering Hinata's moves with her own well-timed strikes.

The class watched, rapt. The spar between Hinata and Temari was less aggressive than the previous match but no less intense. Their movements were like a coordinated dance, both giving and receiving, learning and adapting—a stark contrast to Ryomaru and Kiba's duel.

"Wow, Hinata has improved," Ino whispered to Sakura, clearly impressed.

Sakura nodded, her attention fixed on the two sparring partners. "She's more confident," she observed quietly, subtle jealousy clear in her voice.

As the Taijutsu battle between Temari and Hinata continued, it started to draw the attention of others in the vicinity. More than just a training exercise, their duel was becoming an astonishing display of skill and technique. Teachers and students alike paused in their tracks to observe the spectacle unfolding before them.

Temari launched a swift kick towards Hinata, who deftly dodged and retaliated with a rapid succession of open palm strikes aimed at Temari's torso. The air was charged with their energy, each move a testament to their growing mastery.

"Your stance has improved, Hinata," Temari complimented mid-fight, her voice steady despite the pace of their combat. Her eyes were sharp, calculating each of Hinata's moves.

"Thank you," Hinata replied warmly, maintaining her focus. "Your timing is impeccable." Her eyes, marked by the distinctive veins of the Byakugan, never wavered from her opponent.

The two continued to exchange blows, a seamless blend of attack and defense. Temari aimed a series of high kicks at Hinata, forcing her to weave and evade masterfully. Hinata responded with a low sweep aimed at Temari's legs, but the Sand kunoichi jumped just in time, spinning in mid-air to avoid the attack.

"I see you've picked up some acrobatics," Hinata noted, her voice tinged with genuine admiration as she prepared for Temari's descent.

Temari landed gracefully, her sandals barely making a sound against the ground. "Keeps things interesting," she replied, her tone playful but her eyes deadly serious. "Now, let's step it up."

With that, the intensity of their battle escalated. Temari, though not wielding her fan, used her strong legs and agility to unleash a storm of kicks, each one precise and aimed to push Hinata's defensive skills to their limits.

Hinata, on the other hand, was a picture of calm and control. Her Byakugan allowed her to anticipate Temari's attacks, and her Gentle Fist technique enabled her to strike back with minimal but effective force, aiming to tactically disable Temari's chakra points.

The onlookers were entranced, some students' mouths hanging open in awe. Among them was Iruka, whose eyes flicked back and forth as he intently followed the girls' every movement.

"Remarkable," he murmured, impressed by the skill exhibited by both young shinobi.

Nearby, Ryomaru watched with a respectful and keen interest. "They're both amazing," he said, his ice-blue eyes reflecting his appreciation for their prowess. "It's like watching a well-choreographed dance."

Suddenly, Temari made a bold move, feinting a punch to draw Hinata's attention before executing a rapid spin that sent a powerful kick aimed at Hinata's head.

Hinata, however, was ready. She leaned back, her body bending gracefully and impossibly far, evading Temari's attack by a hair's breadth. In one fluid motion, she spun back to her feet and launched a counterattack, her palms glowing with chakra as she aimed for Temari's shoulder.

In that critical moment, Temari deftly shifted her weight, narrowly evading Hinata's charged strike. Their eyes locked, both girls breathing heavily but their spirits undeterred.

In a mutual, silent agreement, they disengaged and stepped back, allowing a pause in their fierce exchange. They were both sweating but wore bright, respectful smiles.

"You're incredible, Temari," Hinata said sincerely, panting slightly but her eyes shining with respect.

"And you, Hinata," Temari replied, equally sincere. "You've pushed me to my limits today."

At this, the crowd that had gathered erupted into spontaneous applause, their cheers and whistles filling the air.

Ryomaru walked to them, pride evident in his eyes. In just a few weeks since they began training together, where he aided them with chakra control and taijutsu, their progress was already remarkable. He appreciated how swiftly Hinata and Temari adapted to new methods and techniques; they were, without a doubt, exceptional kunoichi in their own rights.

"Well done," Ryomaru praised, his voice carrying a warmth that he seldom showed. "Your growth is evident with every spar. Hinata, your use of the Byakugan was more refined today, and Temari, your control, even without your fan, is impressive."

Hinata's cheeks flushed slightly at the compliment, and she offered a grateful bow of her head. "Thank you, Ryo-kun," she replied, her tone sincere. "Your guidance has been invaluable."

Temari wiped sweat from her brow and grinned. "Well, having a sparring partner from the Cloud does have its perks," she acknowledged, her tone teasing but respectful.

They then watched as others in their class squared off in their own taijutsu duels. In stark contrast to the dynamic and highly skilled battle they had just witnessed between Hinata and Temari, these bouts were notably less polished. The discrepancy in skill between Ryomaru, Hinata, Temari, and the rest of their peers was unmistakable.

Iruka Sensei stood at the edge of the training field, his discerning eyes following each student's movements. He offered guidance where necessary, correcting stances and suggesting different approaches, his voice steady and encouraging, yet firm.

Shino Aburame, with his characteristic stoic demeanor, sparred against Choji Akimichi. Shino moved in a calculated and precise manner, while Choji, despite his size, demonstrated surprising agility. Their spar, while earnest, lacked the ferocity and fluidity observed in the earlier matches.

In another corner of the field, Ino was paired with a focused and determined Sakura. Their friendship did little to dampen the intensity of their spar. Ino's movements were graceful and fluid, reflecting her family's techniques, while Sakura's strikes, though fewer, were executed with impressive force.

Ryomaru, his arms crossed and his posture relaxed but attentive, observed their techniques closely. His experience in the Cloud had exposed him to a diverse set of fighting styles, and he could see the potential in his classmates, even if their current skills were still underdeveloped.

Temari, leaning casually against a tree, observed the other students with a critical eye. "They're raw," she remarked, "but the potential is there. Konoha has always produced shinobi with a strong foundation."

Ryomaru nodded, his gaze lingering on Sakura and Ino's spar. "True," he replied. "They just need more experience, more refinement. But the raw talent? It's definitely here."

Hinata, standing beside Ryomaru, watched her peers with kind eyes. She remembered her own struggles and how much she had grown through consistent training and the support of her friends. "Everyone improves at their own pace," she noted softly, "I believe they will all become great shinobi in time."
