Capítulo 9: Don't cry
At night, Gabriella went to Derek's room and found him sleeping like a dead log of wood.
"Derek are you asleep" she asked. Derek heard but was too tired to answer so he just stay still" this is all my fault Derek. I'm sorry I made you like this. I can't believe you almost died for me, I'm really sorry" she says holding his hands and crying " I'm a mess. Derek if you die I'll die too. I'm sorry Derek, I'm... so-so sorry she said crying more
"Didn't I ask you to stop blaming yourself" Derek asked opening his eyes
"I was..."
" I also did not forget that I warned you to stop crying"
" I'm not crying.. big girls don't cry" she said cleaning her tears
" no one said big girls don't cry.. there's something I want to tell you"
" what is it?"
" come closer" he whispered." closer" he says again as Gabriella move too close to his face
"is this close enough?" she managed to ask despite , being intoxicated by the heat he was giving off
" Yes.. I guess. "
" so what is it?" Gabriella asked
" I want to sleep but I can't sooo would you stay with me. we could watch a movie though"
" sure" she says " I'll go bring my phone" she said running to bring her phone.
" so what are we watching?" Derek asked the moment she came back
" throne of elves. Its my favourite."
" mine too" he said as they began watching .along the line, Gabriella fell asleep on his shoulders. He was about to ask her a question when he noticed she was already fast asleep. He took the phone from her hands, dropped it on the table and placed her well on the bed
"goodnight Derek" she mumbled
" goodnight Gab" he pecked her, smiled and layer beside her
" why did you..." she started then stopped midway
"what is it,Gab?" Derek asked not knowing she was sleep talking
" I know Violetta, I love ... macaroni" she says smiling" don't mind Kim, tumtum, he's ..." she continued again but stopped midway
" goodnight Gab" Derek says again sighing 😕
