As she watched Adrienne with him, a sense of resentment overwhelmed her. She couldn't fathom why Alistair couldn't see what was so clear to her and everyone else in the room. 

Meanwhile, Abigail could sense the seriousness of the situation Adrienne was in. She naturally knew Adrienne had no intention of marrying Alistair Han, as she was already in a relationship with Lennox. However, declining Alistair Han's proposal before everyone would surely put her in a bad light.
