50% Reborn as a Goblin: I Have a Life Simulation System / Chapter 9: Bring back humans, or I'll eat you

Capítulo 9: Bring back humans, or I'll eat you

In the following days, the hunting party trekked through mountains and rivers.

While hunting, they advanced towards the direction of the Goblin lair.

On the third day, the hunting party returned to the Goblin lair.

"Chief, this is my tribute to you!"

In the cavern, Drak'nira bowed with a sycophantic smile on his face.

He cast a glance back at his minions.

The hunting party Goblins hurriedly carried ground squirrels and lifted wild boars, placing them on the ground in front of the boulder.

In no time, dozens of ground squirrel carcasses and dismembered wild boar meat piled up like a small mountain.

Looking at the mountain of food, the surrounding large Goblins revealed their greed.

Only those who evolved into Goblin warriors could become the personal guards of the Goblin chief.

Becoming a personal guard meant no need to hunt.

They just had to wait in the cavern for the hunting party's tribute every day.

Xylobane on the boulder platform waved his hand.

Several Goblin warriors jumped off the platform, carrying wild boar legs and climbed back up.

Xylobane took a wild boar leg and bit into it.

"Drak'nira, you have done well, you deserve the right to mate!"

At that moment, a pained squeal from a pig echoed from the cell in the right rock wall.

A Goblin warrior drove a forest sow over.

Seeing the driven sow, Drak'nira's face was filled with excitement.

His mouth slightly opened, drool almost flowing out.

"Remember, this is the honor I bestow upon you!"

Drak'nira couldn't wait and pounced with excitement.

For a moment, the cavern echoed with the sow's frightened squeals.

Watching Drak'nira's lewd performance, Aden let out a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, he was clever, and the future predicted by The Sims had been changed.

In less than five minutes, Drak'nira was done.

His face was intoxicated, and he walked unsteadily.

"I'm tired of ground squirrel meat and pork; it's the same thing every day."

Suddenly, Xylobane's dissatisfied roar echoed in the cavern.

This startled Drak'nira, causing him to collapse to the ground.

Xylobane, on the boulder platform, angrily threw the wild boar leg he was holding.

The leg flew several dozen meters and crashed into the rock wall.

The surrounding Goblins trembled in fear and involuntarily took a couple of steps back.

"I want to eat human flesh, I want to eat human flesh! You... go catch me some humans."

Xylobane raised his massive hand, pointing at Drak'nira.

Drak'nira, being pointed at, was frightened and quickly stood up, forcing a smile.

"Chief, the places where humans live are far from here; it would take a long time to go back and forth..."

Drak'nira, looking confused, started counting on his fingers.

"Get lost! Bring back humans, or I'll eat you!"

Xylobane grinned, looking greedily at Drak'nira.

Drak'nira's body stiffened in fear.

"I'll go, I'll go!"

Realizing the situation, Drak'nira scrambled out.

The other Goblin minions also ran behind him, looking terrified.

Aden was among them, his expression serious at that moment.

Could this be the future that awaited him after death?

Aden never expected that there were actually humans in this world.

"Haha, haha!"

Watching the panicked Goblins flee, Xylobane burst into laughter.

On the other side, once Drak'nira ran out of the cave, he collapsed in fear.

"Drak'nira, have you ever caught humans before?"

Looking up at Aden, who had come beside him, Drak'nira quickly stood up.

Drak'nira nodded, gesturing excitedly.

"Boss, human meat is delicious; it's tender, fragrant, and a bit salty—extremely tasty. But unfortunately, female humans are too fragile; they die after only a few breedings. Mating with humans is the most comfortable, hehe!"

As he spoke, Drak'nira drooled.

Suddenly recalling something, a hint of fear flashed in Drak'nira's eyes.

"There are also very powerful guys among humans; a few of them can wipe out our entire hunting party."

"Humans also like revenge; many nests on the outskirts of Goblin Forest have been eradicated by humans."

"Our Goblin group is said to have migrated from the outskirts; the leader back then wasn't Xylobane."

"Boss, I'm scared; we might die."

Drak'nira's body trembled.

Although humans are delicious, they are not easy prey to catch.

Drak'nira understood this better than anyone.

With just their small group, they might be eaten by Warcraft on the way to human territory.

"If you don't go, you'll be eaten by the chief!"

Drak'nira shrank his neck, fear evident on his face.

The thought of becoming a piece of meat in the chief's mouth sent a shiver down Drak'nira's spine, his legs shaking.

"Let's rest for a night and set off tomorrow!"

This was the chief's order; they had to go.

Aden understood this, and Drak'nira naturally did too.

Otherwise, Drak'nira would really be eaten.

Thus, Drak'nira came to terms with reality.

Time passed quickly, and a day soon went by.

As night fell, the forest outside the lair quieted down.

The next morning, Drak'nira led the hunting party toward human territory.

The hunting party climbed mountains and crossed streams.

They traversed valley after valley.

They avoided powerful Warcraft one after another.

Half a month later, on a high mountain.

"Boss, once we cross this mountain, we'll enter human territory."

From the high vantage point, the scenery on the other side was fully visible.

On the other side of the mountain were still rolling hills.

But they were not as large, high, or steep as the southern mountains.

"Boss, we need to be careful; humans form teams to hunt in Goblin Forest, and they are formidable."

Team hunting?

Aden recalled some settings from otherworldly novels.

In a world with Goblins, there must be adventurers.

Where there are adventurers, there are mages, warriors, knights, thieves, and so on.

Perhaps the humans Drak'nira mentioned were those adventurers.

"Let's take a break!"

Aden turned and sat on a large rock.

Seeing this, the other Goblin minions quickly sprawled out on the ground.

"System, start The Sims simulation!"

The month-long cooldown had passed, and he could finally simulate life again.
