"Miss!" Hurried footsteps echoed with every step he took down the stairs. One of the male servants frantically headed toward the three people near the beach. "The Madame is urging you to return!"

What bad timing.

Keira sighed with a frown. She had only just begun sowing the seed of doubt in Eren Adler, yet her time was interrupted by that woman.

The servant's heavy panting filled the silence that no one bothered breaking. The Young Miss he came to retrieve stared at him with evident annoyance. It was an unusual sight for the man who had seen the Young Lady growing up.

Keira was never one to openly express annoyance toward anyone. He couldn't help but stare at the slanted gaze that looked away once their eyes met.

"What for?" Her tone was unfriendly as she stood up, eyes sweeping up the steps to see more servants and maids waiting with umbrellas.
