Capítulo 105: necessary knowledge (2)

"W.. what are you doing here?!"

She asked while her eyes darted on the book that she had been reading.

"I came here for a book. What are you doing here?"

He tossed back her question and Lilith who looked like a scared kitten took time before she found the right words to say.

"I also came here for a book."

Her words were short and with the rate of her heart beat, he could tell that the girl had been reading the book that was currently in his possession.

"There was this diary that I came across with and according to what I read, I don't think that I am the first woman to have the elemental abilities."

Lilith had changed the topic with hopes that it would divert Richard's focus on the book but to her disappointment, Richard did not let go of the book.

"Enlighten me.."

When Richard said that, Lilith went on to narrate the whole story that was written in the journal but every now and then, her eyes fell on the book.
