Capítulo 44: Chapter 44

A/N: To tell the truth, I feel like I made a mistake with the novel by making it focus on the multiverse. When I raised the idea, the part that happens in Rune Midgarts was going to be only the first 15 or 20 chapters only, that's why I even just handled it as a 'Dungeon' instead of a normal world.

That is why as someone commented before, saying that the leveling up was something extreme, to tell the truth it was like that for the same reason that the story inside the game really should not be that long, It was only supposed to be something like this: attack by orcs → discovering how to make indestructible armor → All the girls 3rd job → Glast heim → 4th job → entering the world of DxD full level.

At most there would be a few chapters where I would talk about the Bio-Labs and Satan Morroc later maybe even Thanatos, but in reality I didn't plan to put so much emphasis on it, so to tell the truth I was quite surprised when looking for information about different events in the game and discover many interesing facts. An example would be how the MC met Nysynea in Morroc in another history, I thought well it's Satan Morroc so it's common to sacrifice orphans and children to him or something like that, and oh my surprise to see that they were actually doing that.

So to be honest, the more I discovered about NPCs and events in the game, the more the story grew in my head, to frankly make a complete story of Ragnarok Online of some hundreds chapters without the need to introduce external elements, I might do it later because if you realize I haven't really touched many events that happen in the game, the only quest that the MC has done is Find the Piano Keys, which is one of the quest needed to do The Sing quest to enter in Geffenia, and Geffenia it's easily a very nice cake to cut, that's not counting all the other very interesting places in the game like Juperos, Abyss Lake, Kiel Robot Factory, the Time Travel to the past, which have a very good and detailed back story... that I honestly don't want to 'cut' since it can easily write several dozen chapters in each place to explain them well.

In fact something that I think many did not notice is that I have really only created some very minor characters for the story, the only important ones are the MC and the girls, from then on all the characters really exist in the game, even the captain who hired the MC in Alberta, I was only looking for an NPC that I remembered was called Old Man or something like that, and to my surprise the guyspoke about the Going Mary (I change it to Going's Merry for the laugh) in his dialoge. (You can see some of the important NPC images in the auxiliar volume)

So to tell the truth I'm going to speed things up a bit and really enter the world of DxD and others more, about Ragnarok sometimes the MC will return due to events that occur but practically I should leave it mostly aside so as not to waste materials for a next novel that may create with it. (Basically the MC will deal with the threats described in chapter 42.)

To tell the truth, I don't remember if I put it or not, but another detail that I don't remember if I mentioned is that the skills do not show visual effects or sound, such as taking potions, buffs or some attacks, since the MC deactivated them in his system... I swear I had described it but I can't find it in the chapters...

Anyway, without much more to add, greetings and thanks for reading my novel.

********

"Well this really ended in a way I couldn't predict..." Who would think that this guy would escape with his tail between his legs...? No, Sakray would have stayed, fighting to the end... it was that sword that didn't let him...

I look at the destruction we caused, he really didn't hold back, and to think that a fight where I limited my strength to only 1% of my status... it would be only in the hundreds points and still can cause so much destruction... only 1%... how it will be if one day I have to fight the girls... Or more probably... they start fighting each other...

'I can only shudder a little at the thought of it. Sigh...' Looking around for that pair of women but apparently they've also left... I look at my map and are they on it? I look at where they mark me on the map and I see a couple of crows... watching me carefully, so I immediately launch an attack towards them and they fly, and on my map I see how the signs of both women move with the crows, so this is how they spy me...

"Brother! Are you okay!? Where is that bastard in black!" While I am watching the crows, Jeiwatch approaches me, while I turn to see him, the crows decide to move away from where I am, heading towards Morroc... I presume that Sakray went there too.

"The guy managed to escape using some kind of teleportation, I seriously injured him but I don't think that will stop him for long, I have to finish him off." I answer as I prepare to go to Morroc, although before I leave Jeiwatch stops me.

"I understand your anger brother, I also would like nothing more than to rip out that bastard's entrails but... the guild, we are the only ones left over..." he says the final words almost like a whisper, true this is affecting him much more... let's do him a small favor.

"Right, sorry for my lack of attention on this, we have to save what survivors we can, we can't let the guild fall now" When I say that, Jeiwatch looks at me weirdly, clearly thinking that there are no survivors, but thanks to the skill [Resurrection]. I can bring whoever I want, of course I will only bring back those that are not entirely evil, of course I do it in secret, apparently the Yggdrasil Leaf are still something rare here.

[Resurrection Max Lv : 5 Skill Form : Active Type : Recovery Target: 1 Target

Description : Each cast consumes a Blue Gemstone. Returns a single dead player to life.

[Lv 1] : Revival to HP 10% Recovery

[Lv 2] : Revival to HP 30% Recovery

[Lv 3] : Revival to HP 50% Recovery

[Lv 4] : Revival to HP 80% Recovery

[Lv 5] : Revival to HP/MP 100% Recovery.]

I don't use it at max level, it would be too rare for them to revive fully healed, so I only use level 1 or 2 to bring them back... in the end I managed to revive about 100 assassins, quite an acceptable number, I found the Guild Master, but this bastard made Nysynea suffer... but apparently something claimed his soul, you were lucky to die like this old man. Once I finish reviving some assassins the message finally appears...

Guild Master of the Assassins, The guild is led by the guildleader who is tasked with upholding the guild's modus operandi in order to keep Midgard from being embroiled in another war with the gods and giants. (100% more damage/effectiveness with Assassins job, Open Guild Panel in system menu) ]

'Wow, I didn't expect this, besides I didn't expect to have a Guild Panel... as soon as I have more time I'll explore it well.' In fact, it had seemed strange to me that in all this time I had never received an Emperium. 'Also did I become the leader of the assassins? I wonder what Lilinaya will say when she finds out... that reminds me I have to talk to them.' As I remember, the month that I gave to the king is over, I will talk to them so that they accept the titles of nobility and that Arldana lets go whoever wants to leave...

Or at least I expected that, being the new leader of the assassins without many people who can help me is really not good, I distributed some potions and healing items so that the remaining assassins can act again immediately... so I could only talk to Arldana through the chat.

I talked a little with Arldana and also Lilinaya through the chat, in the end they agreed to go to Prontera to receive their titles, I also reminded them that they lie about the ages of the girls, we don't want to cause more commotions than they already have.

In the end I told them where I was and that I would be gone for another month or 2 more approximately, since I have to kill Sakray and I really don't know where the bastard has gone, I guess I let my Mechanic Class level up and change to Rogue, from what I understand they are experts in finding and chasing targets, so the next day after the guild was attacked I head to Morroc to look for signs of Sakray while leveling up a bit. While traveling in the desert I came across a Phreeoni a horrible bastard although seeing him gave me an idea...

[Phreeoni LVL: 69 HP: 1,888,000 / 1,888,000 MP: 5,126/5,126 Race: Beast Element: Neutral 3

Phreeoni is a mysterious monster. Nobody quite knows what it is or where it came from for that matter. An extremely strong bastard that is 40% tongue.]

Immediately after seeing him I moved away from the place, that bastard brings an army of inhabitants of the desert, Hode, Frilldora, Sandman, Magnolia, Scorpion, Chonchon...

Once I got far enough away, I took out my 8 x Military Permit (Thief Class), apparently this allows me to summon 30 individuals instead of the 20 that the normal one gives me, probably because in this one I can't choose the job, after using them 240 level 30 thief appear in front of me, they are all 17 years old and mysteriously a large majority are women, there are almost 200 of them... well that doesn't matter, so I immediately make a party with them and start leveling them up in the area quickly reaching the job level 50.

When I try to change their jobs I ask the NPCs for their opinions, in the end I ended up with 180 assassins and 60 Rogues, the only bad thing is that the efficiency of leveling up is now very low... so I think it's better to do it like before, and I teleport to Luoyang something I notice as soon as I arrive is that the destruction that occurred with Epianne's attack a few months ago has disappeared... can the Mi Gao terraform the earth? If so, it will be good to capture and try to tame some...

I quickly take out a boat, and sail a bit on the coast, save the coordinates and go back to the desert, where all my 'thieves' are waiting, quickly taking them to Louyang... my boat is really small so I have to buy some lifeboats and make have the others board them, once we are all here I cast a Meteor Storm to the coast and have everyone level up, so we proceed to the Rebirth and again to the process of leveling quickly.

I generally don't like to do this as one can't really adapt to the strength of their body, but nothing happens with these NPCs, after all they're going to support the Guild, so they'll learn along the way, not to mention that I'm going to take them to fight the Phreeoni, again I make them level up and I change their jobs from High Thief to Assassins Cross or Stalkers, I level up some more levels about 30 or 40 job levels, and take them to fight against the Phreeoni....

In the end it really wasn't much of a fight and the new assassins and stalkers managed to adapt quickly, they clearly know what they are doing, one small problem we had was... the weapons, I don't have enough daggers or katars for everyone so they had to use one great variety of weapons... spears, axes, swords, maces, bows, etc... I suppose that later I will summon another 100 more, so that they can have blacksmiths, alchemists, priests, and other jobs that can complement the Guild, that they are all just assassins is really a big problem.

We kill the Phreeoni and make everyone rise to their maximum Job including me thanks to the experience bonuses from killing the boss, when I'm preparing everyone to return to the guild, I hear a noise, a little bell... Perplexed, I asked the others if they had heard anything, but they all answered that nothing, so I decided to see my system and surprise!

[Someone in another dimension just found an entrance to your domain! Get ready to receive it, your domain has absolute defense for the next 10 days in case you manage to access that dimension...]

'I have a visitor in my store! The first to have found the entrance I wonder what kind of world it would be.' So I immediately open a portal to the Guild and tell the nearest assassin that I brought reinforcements and teleport to my storage in the shop... I don't want to scare off my supposed visitor by appearing out of nowhere in front of him/her/it . I wonder who will be my first customer.

*

My client is a young man, with brown hair and eyes with glasses, wearing a red jacket with a school emblem on the left side of the uniform. The end of the sleeves have two small buttons and there are two pockets on each side on the waist of the uniform. He appears to have a long sleeved white shirt under it with long grey pants. There is also a very small white "tie" that hangs outside, to tell the truth it shows that it is a uniform from a prestigious or rich school.

Currently he is looking everywhere in my store, observing... the lack of any items on the shelves, I really forgot about my store, so I have nothing to show, although because of the backpack on his back surely he is from a modern world... Although I feel like I've seen it somewhere... although I can't remember where....

Something strange that I can notice is that unlike the people in Midgard or DXD is that when I look above his head to see his name, only question marks appear... only showing me the level, so I really can't know the name of this young man. Let's see if I can sell him something that he wants.

"Welcome! to my humble store, as you can see we just finished construction so I still don't have products in sight, I still have them in my warehouse are you looking for something?" How can I forget to even put something in display on the store... well I don't think it's my fault since I really didn't think it was 'open', it's lucky that the girls cleaned it regularly....fuck I forgot to even take off my assassin outfit or although it's not like my client really cares, otherwise I was really going to have a good time convincing him that I'm harmless... and even though I don't want to accept it, I was so excited for my first client.

"Nothing really... I was just curious that a new store appeared in the games area... but since I'm here I'll take the opportunity to see what titles have just been released." After speaking, he put his hand in his backpack and took out a PSP from it and from the sound that is heard he proceeds to play, at least in my system store I have some games too... the problem is that how can I offer them without him being able to see my system....

While I think a bit about what to do, a bell rings again ssomeone enter and this time a girl with long, dark hair that is kept in a ponytail with a strange skull hairclip enters, just like the boy she wears the same uniform but her uniform have the sleeves puffed up around the forearm with a long slender sleeve that curve out like a flower at where the wrist is. The skirt is also pinkish red color and she wears a pinkish red ribbon on the collar of her uniforms instead of a white tie of the boy. Also above her head only shows question marks but unlike the boy who is level 3, this girl is level 16, which is probably strong for their world... If I remember correctly that garment that she wears around her is called Hagoromo?

"Kami-nii-sama, this is where you were!? Please don't disappear without saying anything..." Just like the boy entered, she begins to look around... but Kami... now it's clear I know these people, but I can't remember which story they belong to... Huh? Is there a catalog of games for sale in the system store?

"I had told you that you did not have to come, you could have accompanied Ayumi and the others, you do not have to accompany me..." The boy answers her in a somewhat cold way, meanwhile I buy the video game catalog that comes in several versions depending on the console and I present him the PSP one, which is the console he comes with... although when he lowers his console to take the catalog I clearly notice that it says PFP... what kind of version is this?

At that moment I remember, I finally remember who this guy is, that's why he seemed so familiar to me, to think that I have The Capturing God in my store! His world is somewhat 'normal' where there isn't really much that could threaten me, this is a good place for Kirkena and Ruri to finally meet the other girls, and with the personality of Katsuragi Keima he will practically beg me to sell him my games....

'Hahahaha, Rejoice, boy. Your wish will finally come...' but I can't even finish thinking when The Capturing God throw the guide on my counter.

"Hey, are you making fun of me? You think you can make fun of me so easily, don't you know that I am god!!" At the end The Capturing God surprisingly raises his voice annoyed, from what I remember he rarely shows himself like this, if something bothers him he just leaves so why is he upset now?
