It started the fourth day of my home recuperation. I was finally allowed to roam around the house, and I maximized the permission as my body was feeling stiff having only limited movements days prior. It was also that day that I began to eat in the dining room. I ate my breakfast and lunch alone, but dinner was different. Lucas was there.

The original host and Lucas used to eat meals together, though not very often, but this would be my first time dining with him.

I'm thinking this would also be my chance to strike up a conversation with him, to know him, and to let him grow fond of my existence.
