Capítulo 67: She Is Back

By the time Mason finished from work, he was feeling completely exhausted and he was having a migraine. He needed to get some sleep. If only he could get his body to do that. He would have to wait for his body to finally give in and shut down like it always does. It was only a matter of time though, he could feel it.

By the time he got home, he found Ava in the kitchen, standing over the gas cooker, stirring something in a pot. She was cooking. He forgot about his headache as he watch her. She was putting on Jean shorts and a free-sized crop top. She must have gone to bring the rest of her things from the apartment she used to share with Maddie like she said she would.

She didn't hear him come in as she had her earphones in her ears. She seemed to be listening to some music because she was whining her waist to whatever was playing on her phone.
