Capítulo 41: Letter 1

"*Clears throat* but I believe this potion can cure different illnesses and curses."

"So, this means this is a very rare type of potion?" the prince asked.

"Yes, you can say or describe it like that." Killian's brows furrowed while reading the letter.

"Wait, how did the Lord know I was going to ask that question?"

"I just guessed it." Killian said and glanced at Lucas.

"Should I continue reading the letter?" he asked.

"*Sigh* Continue."

"As you said earlier, I made something out of the world. I know you will keep it safe and hidden from everyone, and I can count on you for these things. So, think carefully about how you will use this potion. Good luck." Lucas examined the golden potion before hiding it under the floor. Lucas asked Zeth, the dragon, to place a protective barrier around it.

"I think you should get going, Killian." he said.

"I should be, but there's an afterword below." He said and read it.

"P.S. I just accidentally experimented with the golden potion with some rare herbs *with a smiley face*." The letter slowly vanished in Killian's hand. Lucas couldn't believe what he heard. Killian gave his curtsy and silently left the room.

Killian went back to the count's estate, looking exhausted, as he kept on coming back to the capital just to report the situation. The servants greeted him, and the head butler escorted him to his room.

"You can go." The butler bowed his head before closing the door. Killian closed his eyes and his body crumpled on the bed. He took a deep breath, appreciating the silence just for a moment.

"*Sigh* I can finally relax." As he was about to enter his fantasy, a letter suddenly popped up in front of his face. He groaned in frustration before he touched the letter. It suddenly opened on its own, revealing its contents to Killian.

'I know you are tired from travelling back and forth, but I need you to run some errands for me.' Killian became serious again and sat on the bed while reading the letter.

"*Drinks tea* It's past noon already, and you're still here." I looked at the person who is currently making a miniature house. His secretary is anxiously waiting for his reply.

"Your majesty-" Zerke cut Berreth off, his secretary.

"I'm almost done."

"You said this the same thing a couple of hours ago." Zerke didn't mind him and continued on with what he was doing.

"Your Majesty!!" Berreth was clearly losing his temper towards his king. I just sighed and snapped my finger.

"Ah!" Zerke was surprised when the pieces were floating. The miniature was complete in just seconds.

"You should go, Zerke." I used my authority voice towards him. My eyes also glowed, making it hard for him to refuse. Zerke's mood became gloomy, not wanting to leave my side. Berreth cleared his throat and guided Zerke toward the meeting room. After the two were completely gone from my sight, I called Callis.

"You called, my lord?"

"How's Killian doing?"

"He will travel to the Sylthana Empire tomorrow, my lord."

"I see." I looked outside and saw a huge commotion between a citizen and a mage. But they solved it quickly—the fight after a Scyrid came.

(Scyrid = A sea knight)

"Also, give this to him." I removed my golden ring and handed it to Callis.

"But my lord, this is-"

"It's fine; just by showing this to 'him', he will realize I was the one who sent Killian."

"*Sigh* as you wish." Callis hid the golden ring in his inner pocket.

"And also, tell Killian to be more cautious after arriving at 'that' place."

"Yes," Callis said before teleporting.

'Knock, knock, knock.'

"Come in." Zerke appeared with an exhausted face. His entire body collapsed on the bed and he sighed heavily. Berreth came in with a distorted face.

"What's with the long face?" I asked Berreth, but it looks like he is hesitating to talk.

"What is it?" I asked again.

"Well, you see." For a couple of hours, Berreth explains the whole disaster thing to me.

"So, where is this merchant that'meant to bring you the rare material?'" I asked while massaging my temple.

"He promised to bring it to the end of the month but…"Berreth couldn't continue and just sighed in frustration.

"...."

"...."

"He was a fraud." Zerke said.

"Of course, he is!" I furiously said, and I just sighed. Zerke's mood became even more gloomy than ever. Without hesitation, I snapped my finger, and the two looked at me.

Suddenly, we could hear the servants' voices. Someone violently knocked on the door; Berreth opened the door.

"What's wrong?"

"Well, that is..."

"What is it?"

"A rare material suddenly popped up in front of the castle."

"What?" Zerke stood up and stared at me.

"*Sips the tea* Go." Zerke gave a quick 90-degree bow.

"Thank you, my lord." They quickly left the room. I called Callis for the second time.

"You called, my lord?"

"Quickly find the fraud merchant and bring him to Zerke."

"As you wish." I was fortunate enough to have clear eyesight, so I noticed Zerke bolting toward the front. An hour later, everything was resolved. Zerke gave the Scyrid instructions to bring the supplies to the inventory room. Abruptly, Callis materialized in front of him, bearing a man who was asleep. Zerke thanked Callis, but before vanishing, he asked to thank me instead. I bit into a smile before taking a sip of the tea.

"My lord! Thank you for helping us!" Zerke literally kowtows in front of me.

"It's nothing." His eyes were sparkling as if he were admiring my existence. I asked him to stand up, and he quickly stood.

"*Sigh* You are a refined king; have some dignity." I mumbled and saw Berreth with a big smile.

"You called, young master?" The butler greeted the youngster.

"Prepare a carriage for tomorrow." He said while signing some important papers.

"Pardon? A carriage? But you have just arrived today..." The youngster stopped in his tracks and looked at the butler.

"No, I'll be going to Sylthana Empire."

"Sylthana Empire?"

"Yes."

"Then I'll talk to the captain."

"Before you leave, please send a message to my father. Tell him I'll be travelling towards Sylthana Empire tomorrow."
