Capítulo 27: Would you take me as your partner?

Myra had just reached home and had kicked her heels and crashed on her bed when Aman called. "How was your day?" he inquired

"Exhaustive. My legs are hurting," she replied 

"Take a warm shower and go off to sleep."

"I don't have the strength even for that!" she moaned.

"Then, don't go to the party in the evening," he suggested

"Hmm?" Myra thought she might have misheard him. 

"Skip the party if you are not well." he reiterated emphatically 

"I can't, I've promised him I'll attend," she mumbled incoherently

Aman's anxious heart caught on to every syllable she said and was on red alert. "Who did you promise? Do you even know him well enough to make commitments to?" he said with annoyance.

However, he did not receive a reply because Myra had already dozed off. He disconnected the line and made another call, "Check who has Myra been with."

Myra's phone rang, sometime around six. 

"Hmm" – she answered lazily
