Capítulo 92: Night Rescue
Thirteen sat up. Luffy and Zoro looked at him and smiled, he nodded and they started talking again, getting serious. Zoro said "We can't keep going like this. Chopper's gonna exhaust himself to death." Luffy stayed silent and Zoro continued "Either we get stronger or we take a break."
Luffy said seriously "We're not gonna stop. We can train during the day. I'm not gonna stop, are you?" as he looked at Zoro in silence, Zoro looked at him for a second before sighing "No, obviously not."
Luffy nodded and said "Then we'll go again. As many times as it takes." Zoro snorted and looked at Luffy, saying with a small grin "Until we die, eh?" Luffy's mouth grinned and he chuckled, not answering him.
Zoro looked at Thirteen and asked "What do you think?" Thirteen tilted his head and punched his fists together. Zoro rolled his eyes and Luffy laughed, grabbing Thirteen and Zoro before running out, shouting "Let's train! Shishishishishi"
Sanji, Chopper, White, and even Usopp came over and they started training. Nami was reading a weather book, while Robin was sitting on the deck, looking out to the sea in silence.
At night.
Thirteen walked on the deck and saw Robin sitting on the railing. He walked over and sat down on the deck next to her. They sat in silence until Robin asked "What do you think is more important. Friends or yourself?"
Thirteen's ears twitched and he pointed at the cabin but also at her.
She fell silent before turning her head and smiling at him, "So I'm your friend too?" Thirteen nodded and she smiled happily, turning back to the sea.
She laughed softly before pushing herself off the railing towards the sea.
She didn't get far as Thirteen grabbed the back of her shirt, suspending her in the air. She looked up at Thirteen and smiled "What are you doing? Your friends are more important, so are mine. If I'm gone then you won't have trouble anymore…"
Thirteen didn't reply to her and just stared into her eyes.
They were clear but very dim and dark.
She crossed her arms and an arm grew out of Thirteen's back, grabbed his tail and twisted. Another 2 grew out from his shoulders and pulled on his ears.
He twitched and his hand let go of Robin, who fell into the sea with a smile.
Thirteen flexed his body and the hands disappeared as he jumped off the Merry, throwing one hand forward and one back. His chains flew into the sea and into the Merry.
He fell into the water with one chain stuck in the side of the Merry, holding him up.
The other was wrapped around Robin's waist as half his body was in the water. He pulled his arm and Robin was pulled out of the water. She coughed out sea water and struggled in his arm, losing her composure as she said "Let me go!"
Thirteen ignored her and wrapped his arm around her waist.
He felt extremely weak and he grit his teeth before headbutting Robin, knocking her out.
He pulled her close to his body with his chain still wrapped around her as he hung there, dealing with the weakness.
Time passed slowly
When morning came, Thirteen looked at Robin sleeping in his arm. He looked into a window and saw her moving around. He didn't really care what she was doing and slowly moved his tail before tapping on her window.
Nami was changing when she heard a tapping sound, she turned around to see Thirteen looking at her. She was so surprised, she dropped the towel in her hands. Thirteen looked at her, she was naked now…
He tapped on the window again and her eyes turned red in anger with veins throbbing on her forehead. She went to the window and opened it, about to yell when she saw Robin unconscious in Thirteen's arms and Thirteen's tired and weak face.
She frowned and covered herself up, saying angrily "What are you doing?!" Thirteen pointed his tail at Robin and then at the sea before it drooped, his face becoming more tired.
He was using all his strength to move his tail, he was about to drop Robin.
Nami gasped and looked around before saying "Thirteen…" she looked at Robin's chest and behind before making a complicated face and adding "I don't she's gonna fit through my window…"
Thirteen nodded before looking up.
Nami got dressed and quickly went up to the deck, saying "Throw her up here!"
Thirteen looked like he was going to die. He felt even weaker than he did when he was a kid. He took a deep breath and let go of Robin before swinging his arm and growling, she flew into the air over Thirteen and landed on the deck.
Thirteen's chain was still attached to her before it slowly loosened and dragged back to the railing.
Zoro looked at the chain, coming out of the cabin and yawning. He walked over and stepped on the chain, asking "What's going on here?" Nami held Robin and smiled "Thirteen went for a swim and Robin fell in after him, now he's stuck."
Zoro snorted and muttered "Dumb Cat, he knows he can't swim…" he felt something was off but didn't say anything as he grabbed the chain and pulled as hard as he could. His arm veins bulged as he slowly walked backwards.
Thirteen was slowly lifted out of the water and curled his body, pulling his tail out of the water before he pulled himself out and onto the deck, taking back his chains and slumping to the ground.
He leaned back on the railing and exhaled, Zoro looked at him and shook his head before saying "Let's go train." Thirteen nodded and followed him, looking at Nami, who nodded and brought Robin to the cabins.
