Capítulo 8: Escape pt. 2
The boy sat in the box and ate the fruits he was amongst as the ship sailed further and further away from Mariejois. Eventually he got out of the box and sat in top of it, looking out the window near his head at the sea, thinking about all the stories Rob told him.
Meanwhile~
Marine ships arrived at Mariejois and marines flooded into Mariejois. Several Vice-Admirals were dispatched along with an Admiral. As they looked at the scenes they took in everything.
The Admiral on scene was a tall black man who wore an eye mask. He looked at the decapitated Truffle and the dead slave in the bed before clicking his tongue. A marine next to him said "Admiral!" the man looked at the marine, who continued "A merchant ship just sailed away from Mariejois." The marine looked at the scene before averting his eyes and looking at the Admiral with a salute.
The Admiral turned back to the girl in the bed and said "How long?" The marine replied "Just about an hour, Admiral!" The Admiral sighed and closed his eyes before asking "Where's the girl?" The marine looked at the bed and the Admiral spoke again "The Noble's daughter."
The marine straightened out and answered "In the lounge, sir!" The Admiral nodded and walked out, the marine looked at his back and asked "Sir, the corpses?" The Admiral paused his steps and scratched his head while answering "Cremate them." The marine looked at the girl and dropped his salute, saying quietly "Even the slave…"
The Admiral looked at the marine behind him for a moment before leaving the room, saying "Spread the 'Slave's' ashes over the sea." The marine saluted immediately and watched the Admiral leave before grumbling "It's just a slave…"
The Admiral's eye twitched and he sighed, hiding it behind a yawn as he approached the girl sitting in the lounge, who was talking with marines with only a robe on. The Admiral sat down across from her and surveyed the girl, who could it be if not Marie?
Marie turned to the Admiral and smiled suggestively, crossing her legs over. The Admiral looked into her eyes as her loose robe gave him a full view of everything, he looked to the sides and rubbed his eyes at the oogling marines before turning back to Marie and asking "You said you were sexually abused? Did you get a good look at the Slave?"
Marie pouted slightly at the lack of reaction from the Admiral but immediately changed to an imposing tone, "And what is your name, dog?" The Admiral smiled and said "It's Pheasant actually, I don't like dogs. The name is Aokiji." Marie snorted and said "Why haven't you brought me my slave? He killed my father!"
Aokiji rolled his eyes in his head as he nodded with a smile and closed eyes, responding "We'll bring him back as soon as we find him. He was a he, yes?" Marie frowned and said in a somewhat angry tone "If not?!" Aokiji nodded and took out a booklet, pretending to take notes as he doodled while asking "And this man, any special features? Scars? Hair color? Etc?"
Marie snorted once more and answered "He was a big kitty. White hair, white ears, white tail, extremely sexy muscles…" Aokiji looked up and saw Marie fantasizing, he coughed and asked "A mink?" Marie came back to her senses and asked "What's a Mink?" Aokiji blinked at her before looking back at his doodle and saying "Right." He looked back at Marie and asked "Why didn't you just blow up his collar?"
Marie cleared her throat and answered "For combat slaves, we don't put them in explosive collars unless we leave the White City. I want to remind you that I want him back alive." Aokiji looked at her with a smile and retorted "You want the man who abused you back. Alive." Marie nodded "Exactly. I will punish him myself." before muttering under her breath "Damn kitty…"
Aokiji closed his book and stood up, smiling as he said "Right. You will have your slave back as soon as we find him. We're sending all our forces to find him for you, I can assure you he won't escape." Marie smiled and replied "Thank you, Aokiji. How about you stay for the night?" as her eyes suggested something else.
Aokiji shook his head and smiled "That's not going to work, Miss. We have to get to work right away if we want to find him." he then took out a snail and said "All forces find the slave immediately, we will not let Miss Marie go through this without closure!" before putting it away and bowing as he left with the rest of the Marines.
When they got outside the mansion, a marine asked "Admiral, are we really sending everyone out? That's too much!" Aokiji looked at the man and said "Are you an idiot?" the marine didn't know what to say and Aokiji continued as they walked "Did you even see me turn on the Transponder snail? She'll forget about her toy very soon, put out a bounty and forget about it."
The marine was tongue tied and Aokiji looked at him before asking "You don't think she was actually assaulted involuntarily." the marine was silent and Aokiji turned to the front, adding "I'll jump off the Redline if it's true." another marine chirped "But you wouldn't die…" Aokiji slapped his forehead and said "Oh right, I forgot… Man, I need some sleep…" before they all left Mariejois and returned to Marineford.
