Chapter 63: Remember the days of the Bouncing ride?

Emily's POV

When I was eight years old, Owen told me that his mother was taking Ari and him to the new children's amusement park that was newly opened in the coastal city.

They were turning it into a weekend getaway and so, Luna Elise was opposed to me tagging along.

I remember the feeling I had afterwards. I felt tiny…unimportant and the strong urge to use the little girl's room.

When I got home and I told my mother about it, she asked me to come closer and she wrapped her arms around me and she told me that she was going to take us there too and we were going to make it a weekend getaway.

I remember feeling something entirely different, I wasn't small anymore and the cloudy feeling on my eyes which I believe was shame, lifted immediately.
