James calls Mr. Smith (The Father).
James: "Mr. Smith, how's everything going."
Mr. Smith: "Everything's fine; tell me why you called?"
Usually, James would have felt bad at Mr. Smith's tone, but today he was delighted to hear the rude tone."
He knew that the more Mr. Smith acted rude today, the more impressive his reaction would be.
