She then reached down with the both of her hands and wrapped them around hwe boyfriend's back, pulling her lover close to herself before she buried her face deep into his broad chest.
Kotonoha closed her eyes as she felt the beating of her beloved's heart against her cheek, the drumming sound can be heard clearly on her ear that stick close to her boyfriend's skin like a remoraid attaching itself on sharpedo.
Their heartbeats matched perfectly together once more.

On the first round he faced against a boy who is only wearing a simple white sleeveless shirt and a baggy yellow pants, the boy bring a bug net strapped diagonally on his back and a small box that is filled with fresh leaves and some little bugs in it is hanging on his left waist, while on his right there are three pokeballs attached on his trainer belt.
Since he is obviously battling a Bug Catcher Class Trainer, Jovanna let out Phinia and as he have already expected, the black haired boy on the opposite side of him sent out a Beedrill.
Needless to say, the battle resulted in Phinia's total domination, as her Aerial Ace and occasional Gust played her speedy opponents to her tunes, not even a single sting of it can touch even the tip of Phinia's feather.
Next on second round, Jovanna is up against a beautiful blonde haired girl who wears a cute frilly pink bikini on her youthful body.
They fight in a beach themed battle arena, with pools of water filling up almost half of the field, and sandy ground on another half with some rocks here and there
Jovanna let out Zozo who immediately squealed in delight, the Zigzagoon is playing in the sand as as his master's opponent send out a Goldeen which immediately make a splash as it plunged and swimmed on the water pool.
Jovanna immediately used his Pokédex to scan the Goldeen.

Reading the very last part of Goldeen description on his Pokédex, Jovanna can't help but imagine a conversation between three Goldeens competing among themselves in his mind.
Goldeen A: "Let's see who is the Horniest among the three of us. My horn is the longer!"
Goldeen B: "Bah! I am Hornier than you! Look at my horn, it's the thickest among us!"
Goldeen C: "And? You might be longer or thicker, but my horn is the sharpest. I am the Horniest One here!"

[This Goldeen have the Ability Swift Swim, and it knows the move Mud Shot (Egg Move), Peck, Tail Whip, Supersonic, Water Sport, Water Pulse, and Horn Attack.]
The Pokédex still continue on with its mechanical monologue, explaining the Goldeen's ability and moves repertoire as Jovanna is still lost in his imagination of Goldeen's Horniest Competition.
Overall, this Goldeen is quite good, it have a Ground type move that is super effective against Electric type Pokémons and Flying type move which is good against Grass type Pokémons, both types are Super effective against the Water type Goldeen.
This mean that this Goldeen can give quite a fight against even those Pokémons that have a type advantage against it.
However, will it fare well against the Normal type Zigzagoon which have quite a lot of eccentric moves on his moveset?

As the battle have already began, Zozo who have played with the sand begin his turn with throwing some of the sand on the ground using his paws toward the opposing Goldeen without even the need to be instructed by Jovanna.
His Sand Attack hits its mark as the Goldeen closed its eyes that is hurt from the sand.
"Goldeen, use Water Pulse!" Its trainer shout as the Goldeen tries to shot Zozo with a pulsar of water but the Zigzagoon slyly Digs out his way to escape from the assault.
Oh my Mew, don't ask about the Pokémon game logic on how a Pokémon that have used a Dig on the sandy ground can immediately get out below a Pokémon that is currently swimming on the water, like how Zigzagoon now suddenly get out right from the water under the Goldeen and he even seamlessly changed the crashing attack from Dig with his STAB Move Headbutt.
And yeah, that is Zozo's second move combination, a Dig and whatever offensive move that can be used in place of the final attack from the actual Ground type Move Dig.
Zozo's preference regarding this move is by usually using his Normal type Headbutt charged with the crashing power of Dig when he get out from the ground, or in the case of this battle, the water.

It is quite funny how a Goldeen can learn Water Sport in early levels in the older generation of Pokémon but they lose that move from their learn set on Pokémon Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl.
