Capítulo 15: PWA 15 First Capture II [Rewrite]
Sigh.... I should have seen this coming....
"Kotonoha-chan, I am sorry. But can we go back to Town now? I need to go to the Pokémon Center ASAP."
"Sure, we haven't got to be so far away from town anyway."
Yeah, it's a good thing we are only 30 minutes away from the town's gate.
Imagine if I capture a fainted Pokémon when we are deep in the wilderness more than a day away from the Town.
Won't we bring back a corpse when we arrived at the Pokémon Center, then?
No wonder people didn't want to capture a fainted Pokémon.

As we both go back to the Town, we encounter another two Pokémon along the way, a Rattata and a Sentret, both are Normal type Pokémon, and both are dealt quickly by Shion and Kasumi using the usual way.
After we arrived at Town, we immediately go to the Pokémon Center to heal the fainted Pidgey.
Another difference from the games, where the Pokémon center is free of charges in the games, here in PokeWack World they costs ₱ 50 per Pokémon for their Full Healing Service.
Well, at least they cost way cheaper than the Max Potion that is sold for ₱ 2500 or Full Restore that is priced ₱ 3000 in the ads that I see on the TV and in the PokeMart.
By the way, I have only see a promotional poster about the Revive that is said to be sold for ₱ 1500 in the Pokémon Mall in the Big City.
I have not seen Max Revive being sold anywhere, not even in the ads on TV.
By the way, we also sold the Rattata and Sentret that we encountered on our way back to Town to a butcher in the market.
Yeah, unlike in games, here we can sell the intact bodies of fainted Pokémon or their fresh carcass to the butcher for some quick cash. The price varies depending on the Pokemon and their sizes or weight.
And some Pokémon like Oddish that can be farmed for their edible leaves or Miltank that produce nutritious milk can also be captured and sold to the Pokemon Farmers for a hefty sum of money too.
After making some quick money, I treated Kotonoha to have a lunch together with me on a cafe near the Town's Gate before we return back to hit the road in the afternoon.
Taking out Phinia the newly healed Pidgey from its pokeball, I want to introduced her to the team.
Before the bird attempts to fly away from us....
I quickly clicked the button on the pokeball to return her inside before letting her out again on the ground.
"Pidgey!? Pid pid gey!?"
The bird seems to be confused because she is clearly about to be flying in the sky before but suddenly she is sucked inside a dark place and then is getting out with her body touching the ground.
Good grief..... Seems like I will be taking some time with this one to drill the knowledge that she have already been captured by me when she is fainted.....
10 minutes later....
After going through the five sequences of:
1. Denial ("No!!!! I am not a tamed Pokémon! There is no way that I have been captured! No! I won't accept this 😤")
2. Stubborness ("Nope nope nope, No Way, No How, No Go. This is not real, this must be just some bad dream" 😠)
3. Grief ("Wooo hoo hooo....! 😭 This must be a nightmare, wake up me, wake up! Hu hu hu.....! 😭")
4. Despair ("Oh for Mew's sake, please wake me up from this bad dream..... 😭 I can't take this any more..." 😭)
5. And finally, Acceptance ("So..... I am really a captured Pokémon now..... 😶 Go on then.... Do whatever you want to me....").
Phinia the Pidgey finally have accepted the reality that she is now a Pokémon under me as her Trainer with a blank gaze.

We go back to hit the road with a new Pokémon in our team.
And it is not even 5 minutes on the road, and we have encountered another Pokémon!
Two of them at once, even!
A wild Rattata and a wild Spearow appeared!
"Go, Shion, Phinia!"
"Kasumi-chan, use Leer"
Kasumi immediately leered on her enemies, making both the Rattata and Spearow on the opposite side from us glow in purple blight indicating that their defense has been lowered.
The Rattata has attempted to use a quick attack, its target is of course the ghost Pokémon in front of it.
The attack simply goes through Kasumi with zero damage while Shion then Pounded on the Rattata which have just come through the steam Pokemon's body.
On the other side, Phinia our new member in the team is having a peck duel against the wild Spearow.
"Pid gey~!"
"Spear~ row!"
Of course, with the wild Spearow having its defense getting lowered, it is the first to fall down despite it being more aggressive than the milder Pidgey.

Before you want to say that a Pidgey didn't learn Peck naturally and only have Tackle and Sand Attack, let me remind you that I have already stated before in the beginning chapter that as long as I deem a move fit for a Pokémon, then I will make them able to learn it. It would feel very funny anyway, if not straight out strange, that a Pidgey can't learn Peck but they have a Big Peck as its Hidden Ability. Yeah, sometimes I really don't understand the logics behind the Pokémon games. Then again, it's not like my logical ability is good either 😅😆🤣 I know I myself have some screws loose here and there in my head.

Also, I have made a change to this Novel Synopsis in Webnovel by adding a Warning about Trap since there are someone who put a negative review here and said that I should put a Tag #trap on this novel and that he is disgusted when he read that the protagonist choose to be a cute trap.
Whut da hail....
I think he didn't know that we can only put the tags that is already provided by the system in Webnovel, being not an author and just a toxic person showing off his ignorance.
