Capítulo 140: Chapter 45: The Rivalry Revival!

(Last time, Mew and her friends return to Pallet Town and are shocked to find Brock is there.)

(And it's still a mystery why he isn't with Professor Ivy.)

(Then, Mew and her friends deliver the GS ball to Professor Oak, only for Team Rocket to have given them a shocking surprise, and rendered helpless.)

(But then Gary with his Nidoqueem and Mew's papa, Zeraora arrive in time to save the day.)

(And lastly, Mew's new egg has hatched into a baby Lugia.)

(Turns out the day has been full of surprises.)

(The next day, Mew and the others have already finished breakfast.)

(and are now outside in the corral with their Pokemon.)

(Mew is sitting next to the lake where little Lugia and many of her Water Pokemon are playing.)

(She places the Shell Flute Melody and Carol have given to her, and the Pokemon really love the music.)

(Zeraora, Gardevoir, and the two Ralts are with them.)

(Misty and the others sit and relax as they hear Mew play.)

Misty: "Mew is really doing well with the flute,"

(Misty says.)

Tracey: "Yeah. She's been practicing all the time, and is really good at it,"

(Tracey says.)

(Mew continues to play the shell flute.)

(Baby Lugia swims towards Mew on the lake and is really happy to hear Mew playing the flute.)

(Gardevoir gently rubs Mew's head with a smile.)

(Mew shows expression of glee too.)

Tracey: "It's really amazing that Mew has a pokemon for a father,"

(Tracey says.)

Brock: "Yeah. And Gardevoir is almost like a mother,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Yeah. almost like a family,"

(Misty says.)

(Just then, Gary walks over.)

Gary: "Hey Mew, how are you and the Pokemon doing?"

Mew: "Doing good. I'm just relaxing with my Pokemon,"

(Mew says.)

(Gary sits next to Mew.)

Gary: "That's good."

Mew: "So how did things went at the Orange Island?"

(Mew asks.)

Gary: "Doing great. I've been training since the Pokemon League and my Pokemon have gotten stronger,"

(Gary says.)

Mew: "That's great to hear,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Mew has an idea.)

Mew: "Hey Gary, maybe you and I can have a Pokemon Battle."

Gary: "Sure. Let's make this a one on one battle,"

(Gary says.)

Mew: "Fine by me,"

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to the others and calls out.)

Mew: "Hey guys, Gary and I are going to have a Pokemon battle. Wanna watch?"

Misty: "Sure,"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "Yeah,"

(Tomo says.)

Jen: "Okay,"

(Jen says.)

(Agreeing to the idea, Gary and Mew are standing on opposite sides and ready to battle.)

(Gary throws his Pokeball and calls out.)

Gary: "I choose you!"

(And out of Gary's Pokeball is an Eevee.)

Mew: And Eevee, huh,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Mew turns to Eevee.)

Mew: "Alright Eevee, I choose you."

(Then Mew's Eevee joins in on the battle.)

Tomo: "Cool, it's going to be an Eevee battle,"

(Tomo says.)

(Misty happily says.)

Misty: "Eevee's so cute!"

Brock: "Looks can be deceiving,"

(Brock says.)

(Misty and Jen become confused.)

(Brock explains.)

Brock: "You see that shiny coat and those bright eyes? Gary's raised it very well."

Tracey: "Yeah, Brock's right. I bet it's ready to evolve into a Flareon, a Jolteon or a Vaporeon,"

(Tracey says.)

Jen: "Or even Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, or even Sylvyon,"

(Jen adds.)

Misty: "Don't forget, Mew also raised Eevee pretty well too. It can go both ways,"

(Misty says.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "Alright! I think we should get this match started! This is a one on one Pokémon battle! Eevee vs Eevee, with no time limit! Begin the battle, now!"

Mew: "Alright then, Eevee, use Quick Attack!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Eevee dashes forward.)

(Gary calls out.)

Gary: "Eevee, Reflect attack, now!"

(Gary's Eevee performs Reflect and a barrier appears.)

(Eevee speeds for Quick attack and strikes, knocking Eevee back as a result.)

(Both Pokemon land on their feet.)

Tracey: "I've seen a lot of Reflect attacks, but never one like that. Does it look to any of you like Eevee felt even half of Pikachu's Quick Attack? Not to me. It looks more like it didn't feel it at all,"

(Tracey whispers.)

Misty: "I guess that means Gary's Eevee is at a really high level,"

(Misty says.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Eevee, use Thunderbolt!"

(Then Gary calls out.)

Gary: "Eevee, Double Team, now!"

(Eevee then starts creating clones of itself as Eevee attacks and fires at the clones.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Stop Eevee! It's no use! Don't waste your electricity!"

(Eevee stops the attack.)

(Then Gary calls out.)

Gary: "Eevee, Take Down attack!"

(The real Eevee dashes forward.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Quick, Eevee! Agility, now!"

(Eevee uses Agility to dodge Gary's Eevee's Attack.)

Mew: "Eevee, use Iron Tail!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Then Gary calls out.)

Gary: "Eevee, use your Skull Bash!"

(Gary's Eevee charges for the attack as Mew's Eevee begins performing the Iron Tail.)

Tracey: "Eevee's a lot stronger than it looks!"

(Tracey says, surprised.)

Tomo: "Mew's Eevee is pretty strong too!"

(Tomo says.)

(Both attacks end up pushing both Eevee away from each other.)

(Mew and Gary's Eevee land on the ground and on their feet.)

(Then Gary calls out.)

Gary: "Eevee, use Take Down!"

Mew: "Eevee, use Take Down too!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Then the two Eevee speed and ready for the attack.)

(Then both trainers call out.)

Mew and Gary: "Rage Tackle Attack!"

(And with that, both Eevee perform the attack and strike at each other at the same time.)

(Soon, they both fall and land on the ground, and they both end up knocked out from the attack.)

Tracey: "And it's a draw,"

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "Eevee,"

(Mew says, worried and rushes over.)

_______________________________________

(Soon, Eevee regains consciousness.)

(Mew picks up Eevee and says.)

Mew: "Hey. That was a tough battle. You were great."

Eevee: "Eevee," (Thanks.)

(Eevee says.)

(Seeing the battle Misty says.)

Misty: "Mew and Eevee did their best."

Brock: "Gary and his Eevee did too,"

(Brock replies.)

(Gary picks up his Eevee and says.)

Gary: "Eevee."

Eevee: "Ee?" (Yes?)

(Eevee says.)

Gary: "That was good work, Eevee. We're a tough team,"

(Gary says.)

Professor Oak: "Well, Gary, it looks like all that training you've been doing has really paid off and I must say I'm very impressed with your progress,"

(Professor Oak says.)

(Then look at Mew.)

Professor Oak: "You did too Mew. eevee has gotten stronger since the last time I saw it."

Mew: "Thanks professor,"

(Mew says.)

Gary: "Thanks, but I've still got a lot of work ahead of me,"

(Gary says.)

(Then turns to Mew.)

Gary: "You did a great job."

Mew: "You did too,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Gary calls it back to the Pokeball.)

Gary: "Eevee, return."

(Then Gary says.)

Gary: "I gotta get going for another journey."

Mew: "You're leaving already?"

(Mew asks.)

Gary: "Sure am. I'll see you around,"

(Gary says.)

Mew: "You too. Let's have another battle,"

(Mew says.)

(Gary nods his head and says.)

Gary: "Bye Mew. By grandpa."

(Gary then walks away to continue his journey.)

(Mew smiles and shows a small bush on her face.)

(Sometime later, Mew is relaxing with her Pokemon as she thinks about her recent journey.)

(And her time with Gary is rather short.)

(Just then, Misty pops in.)

Misty: "Wanna know where Gary is?"

Mew: "I kind of do. Why?"

(Mew replies, and sits up.)

Misty: "He's out on a new journey already,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "He is, isn't he. I figure as much,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Mew has to agree.)

Mew: "But I have to wonder where."

Misty: "Maybe Professor Oak might know,"

(Misty says.)

(Mew nods her head in reply.)

Mew: "Maybe, where is he anyway."

(Meanwhile, in Professor Oak's lab, Professor Oak is examining the GS Ball. Tracey and Brock asks.)

(Tracey asks.)

Tracey: "Are your scanners coming up with any information about the GS Ball, Professor?"

(Professor Oak turns to the boys and says.)

Professor Oak: "I'm afraid not. And even I have to admit I didn't expect it to be quite so difficult."

(Soon Mew, and the others enter the room.)

Mew: "Hi Professor, how is scanning the GS Ball?"

(Mew says.)

(Then Misty asks.)

Misty: "Have you been able to figure anything out about the GS Ball yet?"

Tracey: "Nothing so far,"

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "The only thing that we know about it is that it's made of silver and gold. I think,"

(Mew says.)

Professor Oak: "Other than that, I'm totally stumped,"

(Professor Oak says.)

Misty: "Wow. If you can't solve the mystery… And Professor Ivy couldn't solve it, then…"

(Misty says.)

(Tracey taps on Misty's shoulder and looks behind him.)

(Tracey does too.)

(Misty does the same, and to no surprise…)

(Brock begins sulking.)

Brock: "That...name...!"

(Misty sweat drops.)

Misty: "Oops."

Tracey: "Misty, I'm just a Pokémon Watcher, but my advice is to watch what you say around Brock. Especially about you know who,"

(Tracey replies.)

Misty: "Right,"

(Misty replies.)

Professor Oak: "I just can't figure out who made this GS Ball or why,"

(Professor Oak says.)

Mew: "It is a mystery,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, one of her Pokeballs opens and as a result, Young Mewtwo comes out of its Pokeball, and begins staring at the Pokeball.)

(That catches everyone by surprise, especially Professor Oak.)

(He falls off his seat in surprise and shock.)

Professor Oak: "Wha-what is that?! Is that… a Pokemon?!"

Misty: "Uh oh,"

(Misty says, worried.)

Mew: "Here we go again,"

(Mew sheepishly smiles.)

(Mew helps Professor Oak up and says.)

Mew: "Professor Oak, this is Mewtwo. Mewtwo, this is Professor Oak."

(Mewtwo turns to Professor Oak and calmly says,.)

Mewtwo: "Hello."

(And turns back to the GS Ball.)

Professor Oak: "Mew… Mew… Two…?"

(Professor Oak says, shocked and very astonished.)

Mew: "Long story short, Mewtwo is cloned from Mewtwo and we found him in Cerulean Cave,"

(Mew says.)

Professor Oak: "Really?"

(Professor Oak asks.)

Misty: "Yeah. In fact, there were actually two of them,"

(Misty says.)

Professor Oak asks: "Really two of them. Can you mind explaining to me how you know all that?"

(Professor Oak asks, still in shock.)

(Everyone turns to each other and nods their heads.)

(And so, once more, with Brock, Misty and Tomo's assistance.)

(Mew explains to professor Oak on how they meet the first Mewtwo at New Island.)

(while they meet the one she's a companion with from Cerulean Cave, and they received Mega Stones as well.)

Professor Oak: "I see. This is very amazing. I wish I was informed of it a lot sooner, but I understand your promise to keep everyone quiet,"

(Professor Oak says.)

Mew: "Yeah. especially for the other Mewtwo. He didn't have a good history with humans. The younger Mewtwo had trouble with humans when they show up in the cave suddenly and want to either battle or capture him,"

(Mew adds.)

Brock: "And from what they both told us, their experience with humans was pretty bad, especially what happened with the original Mewtwo. And if it hadn't been more Mew, Mewtwo wouldn't be able to open his heart,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "And we all promised not to tell anyone about it. But now that you and Gary know about it, we really appreciate you keeping it a secret,"

(Misty says.)

(Professor Oak nods his head and says.)

Professor Oak: "Do not worry Misty, I promise to keep all of this hush hush. But I'm really happy to see that both Mewtwo have at least a handful of humans whom they trust. As much as I wish to study them, getting to understand their species, but I understand their privacy. Your secret is safe with me."

(The group nods their heads.)

(Then everyone turns to see Young Mewtwo, still staring at the GS Ball.)

(Mew and Professor Oak approach Mewtwo.)

Mew: "So Mewtwo, what do you think of the GS Ball? It's mysterious huh,"

(Mew says.)

(Mewtwo suddenly says.)

Mewtwo: "There's… life…"

Mew and Professor Oak: "Huh?"

(Mew and Professor Oak reply.) confused.

(Misty and the others become just as confused.)

Professor Oak: "Life? In the GS Ball?"

(Professor Oak asks.)

Mew: "What do you mean?"

(Mew asks.)

_______________________________________

(Mewtwo turns to them and says.)

Mewtwo: "There's life in this Pokeball. It's faint, but I can sense a sign of life trapped inside."

Tomo: "What does that mean?"

(Tomo asks.)

Professor Oak: "I think. It's not likely, but it seems possible. Of course, we can't open it, so there's no way of knowing,"

(Professor Oak says.)

Jen: "Why?"

(Jen asks.)

Brock: "I think what Profesor Oak means is that, it's possible that…"

(Brock says.)

(Then look at the GS Ball.)

Brock: "There might be a Pokemon trapped in the GS Ball."

Misty: "A Pokemon?"

(Misty says, confused.)

Tracey: "Is that even possible?"

(Tracey asks.)

Professor Oak : "Hmm, that possibility can't be ruled out, especially since Mewtwo can sense it. However, the origin and purpose of the GS ball is a complete mystery,"

(Professor Oak says.)

Tomo: "I'm sure we'll figure something out,"

(Tomo says.)

(Then Mew turns to Professor Oak and asks.)

Mew: "By the way professor, I want to ask. Do you know where Gary went for his next journey?"

Professor Oak: "Oh, Mew. I thought Gary told you,"

(Professor Oak says.)

(He picks up the Pokeball and says.)

Professor Oak: "It seems my grandson has decided to head out west to enter the Johto League."

Mew: "Johto?"

(Mew says, confused.)

Jen: "What's that?"

(Jen asks.)

Professor Oak: "Oh, it's a very challenging league,"

(Professor Oak says.)

Professor Oak: "Trainers have to compete and win battles and badges at a number of gyms in the western territories that we call the Johto Region to qualify for the championship. Gary's planning to battle as many other trainers as he can. He hopes that with all the experience he gets, he'll become an even stronger trainer."

Tomo: "Sounds cool,"

(Tomo says.)

(Then Mew has an idea.)

Mew: "Maybe I should enter too."

(Then turns to her friends.)

Mew: "If I'm going to become a skilled Pokémon trainer, then I have to battle with the best, so I'm gonna try for this Johto League."

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (Me too!")

(Pikachu says, hopping on Mew's left shoulder.)

(Eevee jumps on Mew's right shoulder.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (Don't forget about me.)

Mew: "I know we can make it, Pikachu, Eevee. And I will become a great Pokemon Master. I just have to start training as hard as I can,"

(Mew says.)

Jen: "That's right, Mew,"

(Jen says.)

Misty: "Yeah. The Johto League might be a challenge,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "As long as we train hard, we'll be able to do it,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Well, I hope you don't plan on forgetting about me,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Really? So you're going to come with us?"

(Mew asks.)

(Brock says with a smile.)

Brock: "Yeah! Brock's back! We're heading for new adventures! New challenges! New achievements! My friends, we're heading west!"

Misty: "That sounds fine, Brock, but west is this way,"

(Misty says, and points in the opposite direction.)

Brock: "But whatever direction we take, we're headed for action!"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Yeah!"

(Misty cheers.)

Tomo: "Let's go!"

(Tomo cheers.)

Jen: "Hooray!"

(Jen cheers.)

(Just then, Professor Oak grabs Mew's hand and gives her the GS Ball.)

Professor Oak: "I'm giving this back to you, Mew. I need you to help me find out more about it,"

(Professor Oak says.)

(Everyone is confused.)

(The group arrives in Professor Oak's lab.)

Mew: "What do you want us to do, Professor?"

(Mew asks.)

(Soon, a picture of an old man with a blue kimono appears on the screen.)

Mew: "Who's that?"

(Mew asks.)

Professor Oak: "That is Kurt, the famous Pokéball designer,"

(Professor Oak answers.)

Professor Oak: "If anyone can figure out the origin and mystery behind the GS Ball, it's Kurt!"

(Then turns to Mew.)

Professor Oak: "Mew, I want you to go to Azalea Town and take the ball to him."

Misty: "But, Professor, if we go to see Kurt, Mew will miss the Johto League,"

(Misty says.)

(But Professor Oak says.)

Professor Oak: "No. No. No. No. It won't take you out of your way and I'm sure Mew would enjoy meeting him, right?"

Mew: "I sure would, Professor! Kurt's like a big celebrity,"

(Mew says.)

Professor Oak: "This will work out perfectly. Take the GS Ball and head straight west to New Bark Town, where great things await both you and Liam. That's why they call it the Town where Winds of New Beginnings Blow,"

(Professor Oak says.)

(Right on cue, the wind blows and the window opens.)

(Confused, Mew asks.)

Mew: "What do you mean new beginnings?"

Professor Oak: "New beginnings in the Johto League, of course. As luck would have it, New Bark Town is the place where all trainers have to sign up to participate in the Johto League,"

(Professor Oak says.)

Mew: "Great! We'll go there first, and then take the GS Ball to Kurt in Azalea Town,"

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Don't forget, I'm counting on you,"

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Just leave it to me,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "And don't you worry, Professor. I'll be there to keep an eye on her the whole time,"

(Brock says.)

(But Misty says.)

Misty: "You mean you'll keep your eye on us the whole time there's not a pretty girl in sight."

(Brock nervously laughs.)

Brock: "Well, maybe I am a little more interested in girls than I am in geography."

Misty: "Maybe just a little,"

(Misty says.)

(Soon, everyone begins laughing.)

(That evening, Mew and her friends arrive at Adriana's house and Daisy with her.)

Mew: "Hi Adriana, Daisy, we're back,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "It's us!"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Hello!"

(Misty says.)

Tracey: "Hi!"

(Tracey says.)

(Tomo and Jen happily say.)

Tomo and Jen: "Hi!"

(Even the Pokemon say hello.)

Adriana: "Hi Mew, I was just on the phone with my father and you'll be leaving tomorrow,"

(Adriana says.)

Mew: "I see,"

(Mew says.)

Daisy: "I heard you'll be going to the Johto Region. My brother is going there too,"

(Daisy says.)

Misty: "It'll be great. In the Johto League, there'll be new trainers and new Pokémon and new everything,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Don't worry!"

(Brock says, and leaps toward Adriana.)

Brock: "I know you're disappointed I'm leaving, but Mr. Mime will be able to fill in for me!"

Adriana: "Well, I better get to work and cook up a big bon voyage dinner in honor of this joyous occasion,"

(Adriana says.)

Mew: "Oh, you don't have to trouble yourself,"

(Mew insists.)

Tracey: "Oh, come on, Mew,"

(Tracey says.)

Misty: "Yeah, I think a big going away dinner sounds like fun!"

(Misty says.)

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "Alright, we can have dinner."

Tomo and Jen: "Yay!"

(Tomo and Jen cheers.)

Adriana: "And, of course, I'll invite my father, too,"

(Adriana says.)

Mew: "And I can invite papa, Gardevoir and the twins,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Adriana turns to Brock.)

Adriana: "Brock, would you mind running to the market for a few things?"

Brock: "Mrs. Oak, your wish is my command. Just say the word, and I'm at your service,"

(Brock says, already has a basket.)

(Brock then notices Mimey heading towards the door.)

(Realizing he has the same idea, Brock rushes to the door to make sure he gets going before Mimey.)

Brock: "I'll do it! After tomorrow, she's, all, yours!"

(Brock shouts.)

(Both Mimey and Brock struggle to get out of the door.)

Mew: "That's scary,"

(Mew says.)

Adriana: "Worst part is, they forgot my shopping list,"

(Adriana says.)

(Mew turns to Adriana.)

Mew: "I can go give it to them."

_______________________________________

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket is struggling to walk down the road after landing from their blast off the other day.)

James: "I'd sell my soul to rest my soles,"

(James says, defeated.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Let's take a pause so I can rest my paws."

(Soon, Jessie spots something ahead.)

Jessie: "Let's see what that sign says."

(The group approaches the sign.)

(James reads.)

James: "Pallet Town, one mile. That way."

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Hey, you two, look sharp!"

James: "Sure does,"

(James says, seeing Meowth's claws.)

(Then Meowth scratches James' face.)

Meowth: "That's not what I meant! Look there!"

(James and Jessie look to where Meowth is pointing and see Gary coming their way.)

James: "That kid again!"

(James says, surprised.)

Jessie: "What should we do?"

(Jessie asks.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "I say we stick it to that stuck up Gary."

James: "Good idea,"

(James agrees.)

James: "If we get him, Pikachu, and Eevee, we'll have a brat and a pair of rats,"

(James says.)

(Then the group snicker with a nasty plan in mind.)

(As Gary walks along, Team Rocket comes up on stage and performs the motto.)

Jessie: We're up on stage, so prepare for trouble.

James: It's curtains for you, so make it double.

(Gary keeps walking and Team Rocket continues the motto.)

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation.

James: To unite all peoples within our nation.

(Gary continues walking, paying no mind.)

Jessie: Jessie.

James: James.

(Gary continues walking.)

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light.

James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight.

(Then Meowth comes down in a strap and springs attached.)

Meowth: That's right!

(However, Gary isn't listening and continues to walk down the path.)

(Team Rocket realizes that Gary has completely ignored them.)

(And the big screen they have, falls to the ground.)

(Jessie shouts in full rage.)

Jessie: "That kid just walked off and made a fool of me!"

James: "I feel so inadequate!"

(James says in tears.)

Meowth: "Well, I guess our show just closed on the road. Maybe we are forgettable if we were just ignored,"

(Meowth says, feeling defeated.)

(Team Rocket sigh in dejection.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Let's go."

James: "Right,"

(James agrees.)

(Then they leave, but leave Meowth behind.)

(Meowth cries out in anger.)

Meowth: "Hey! Get back here and spring me from this spring!"

(That night in Adriana's home, every human and Pokemon are ready for dinner.)

Adriana: "Here's to you, Mew,"

(Adriana says.)

Everyone: "Cheers!"

(Everyone calls out and taps their glasses together.)

(Mew drinks her drink and says.)

Mew: "Bet I won't get another dinner like this till I get back from the Johto League."

Adriana: "Well, dig in, everybody,"

(Adriana says.)

(Mew takes the bite of the food and happily says.)

Mew: "Great!"

Adriana: "Good. I wanted everything to be just perfect for you and your friends,"

(Adriana says.)

Misty: "Well, here goes,"

(Misty says, and takes a bite.)

(Misty likes it.)

Misty: "This is so delicious, Mrs. Oak.

Tracey: "Mew, you gotta try some of this,"

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "Sure,"

(Mew says, and takes a bite.)

Mew: "This tastes delicious Adriana,"

(Mew says.)

(But Adriana says.)

Adriana: "I wish I could take all the credit, but Brock made dinner."

Misty: "He did?"

(Misty asks.)

Misty: "Well, I guess he found some really great cookbook when he was working on Valencia Island with Professor Ivy."

(but realizes his mistake.)

Misty: "Oops!"

(Right on cue, Brock starts sulking.)

Mew: "Oh dear, not again,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "Uh, your dinner's getting cold."

Professor Oak: "So, Mew, will be running into lots of Pokémon you've never seen before out west,"

(Professor Oak says.)

Tracey: "And I bet you'll even get the chance to capture some of them,"

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "It'll be great! I can't wait to get started,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Professor Oak says.)

Professor Oak: "I have a little something for you and Tomo,"

(and pulls out two devices.)

Professor Oak: "I think this'll really come in handy."

Mew: "Alright! A brand new Pokédex!"

(Mew says, amazed.)

Tomo: "Really? I get one, too?"

(Tomo asks, with a smile.)

Professor Oak: "These new models are filled with anything and everything you two will need to know about the abilities, temperaments, and habitats of the new Pokémon you'll both encounter,"

(Professor Oak says.)

Mew and Tomo: "Thanks!"

(Mew and Tomo happily say.)

(Then they take their Pokedex.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "This unit belongs to Mew of Pallet Town."

Tracey: "It'll be so great to see all the new Pokémon you two will send back here to the professor and me,"

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "What do you mean, 'back to the professor and me'?"

(Mew asks.)

Tracey: "Well, the professor's gonna let me be his assistant here at the lab,"

(Tracey answers.)

Misty: "That's great!"

(Misty says.)

Misty: "I mean, I wish you were coming with us."

Jen: "Me too,"

(Jen says.)

Tomo: "Same,"

(Tomo says.)

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "So do I, but I kinda had the feeling that you'd wind up staying here."

Professor Oak: "Yes. As soon as I met Tracey today, I knew he wanted to be my assistant. But it took a while for him to get up the nerve to ask,"

(Professor Oak replies with laughter.)

Tracey: "Mew taught me to always go for what you really want,"

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "That's right, Tracey,"

(Mew says.)

Daisy: "Here's to all your new beginnings,"

(Daisy says.)

(Then Daisy and Mimey set off the confetti, but two extra cans go off as the group spot two new people in the doorway.)

(Which is really Team Rocket with another scheme.)

(In disguise, Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Hello!"

(Acting as the cameraman, James says.)

James: "We're here to cover this very special occasion.."

(They both say.)

Both: "Live!"

(Jessie approaches Mew.)

Jessie: "Here's our little star."

Mew: "Scuse me?"

(Mew says, confused.)

Jessie: "Let's get a close up of the food,"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Got it,"

(James says, zooming at the food.)

Jessie: "Oh, would you just look at the selection of incredible edibles?"

(Jessie says, and takes a bite of the food.)

(Then says with a mouth full.)

Jessie: "This is the best news I've covered in a long time."

(Then sees the gang.)

Jessie: "What a young, attractive, vibrant group. Mostly."

(Professor Oak grumbles.)

Jessie: "With such a fine group of friends behind him, it's no wonder that this twer... I mean, this terrific young lady is so…"

(Jessie adds.)

(Adriana asks.)

Adriana: "Just who are you people?"

James: "Ready for your closeup?"

(James says.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "This is a heartwarming story of a family's abiding love and her daughter figure's insatiable hunger for adventure."

(Jessie and James eat more.)

Adriana: "I don't remember calling a news crew to cover the night before Mew's exploits."

(Adriana says.)

(Then Jessie continues with her mouth full as she keeps stuffing her face.)

Jessie: "she may be starved for affection… But she craves the open road… And now those close to him celebrate his departure, even though this young lady may never return to mommy. This reporter would like to apologize for that momentary lapse in professionalism…"

(Brock looks at Jessie and says.)

Brock: "You look familiar."

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "I want to remind you viewers that we're coming to you live. L. I. V. E. Live."

(Brock begins sulking again.)

(Jessie nearly eats the whole dinner.)

(Jessie says with her mouthful.)

Jessie: "I hope we provided all of you watching out there with some food for thought."

(Then the camera points at Pikachu and Eevee.)

(Pikachu notices.)

Pikachu: "Pika?" (Pardon?)

Eevee: "Eev?" (Huh?)

(Eevee says, confused.)

(Jessie pushes Mew out of the way.)

(Then says.)

Jessie: "Ah, now we'll capture these charming Pokémon for our camera! Cameraman, move in close for a shot and grab it."

James: "Say "cheese"."

(James says.)

(Pikachu and Eevee turn to the camera and say.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika! Eev!" (Cheese!)

(James chuckles as he presses the button on the camera.)

(Suddenly, a rubber hand comes out of the camera, grabs Pikachu and Eevee, and pulls them in.)

(Mew shouts.)

Mew: "Hey, you two!"

Misty: "They're not reporters!"

(Misty shouts.)

Jen: "They're fakes!"

(Jen says.)

(Jessie and James break through the window, ripping off their disguises.)

Jessie: "We're a breaking story!"

(Jessie says.)

James: "But we won't cover it!"

(James says.)

(They run away just before Mew, Zeraora, and Mimey jump out the window to follow them.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Wait!"

(Adriana calls out.)

Adriana: "Mimey! Don't let them trample my garden!"

(Mimey performs Light Screen.)

Mimey: "Mime!" (Right!)

(Then Jessie and James crash into the Light Screen.)

Jessie: "Oh, now what?! What's this window?"

(Jessie questions.)

(James answers.)

James: "Mr. Mime's Light Screen!"

(Mimey then uses Light Screen again.)

Mimey: "Mime!" (Right)

(Mime launches the Light Screen, but Jessie and James escape, and soon reach a tree.)

(Then Meowth comes out from behind it.)

Meowth: "It's about time you two showed up!"

(Meowth says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "Smile for the camera, Meowth."

(James chuckles as they see Pikachu and Eevee trapped and crammed inside.)

Pikachu: "Pika." (Not cool.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee," (So uncool.)

(Eevee says.)

Meowth: "Heh. That was a snap,"

(Meowth says.)

(Suddenly, Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Eevee! Pikachu!"

Meowth: "Huh?"

(Meowth says, confused.)

(Then notices Mew running towards them.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Use your Thunderbolt attack and blow that thing to pieces!"

(Pikachu and Eevee try to use their Thunderbolt, but nothing works.)

James: "Hock all you want, but, you'll never blast your way out of this rubber reinforced camera case,"

(James says.)

Mew: "Then I'll use…"

(Mew says.)

(But two figures dash past Mew and reveal Scyther and Zeraora.)

Team Rocket: "Huh?"

(Team Rocket says, confused.)

Mew: "Scyther and papa really move,"

(Mew says.)

(Tracey calls out.)

Tracey: "Scyther, use your Slash attack!"

(Scyther leaps and comes down with a Slash, breaking the case.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Finally!)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (That thing was uncomfortable!)

(Eevee says.)

(Team Rocket panics.)

(Then Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu, Eevee, Papa, show em your Thunderbolt attack!"

(Team Rocket panics.)

Team Rocket: "No, not that!"

(And tries to run away.)

(But all three Pokemon fire their attacks.)

Mew: "Yeah!"

(Mew cheers.)

(Then Tracey calls out.)

Tracey: "Marill, go!"

(And Marill comes out.)

(Then Brock throws his Pokeball.)

Brock: "Go Sneasel."

(And Sneasel comes out of the Pokeball.)

(Tracey calls out.)

Tracey: "Marill, use Water Gun, now!"

Brock: "Sneasel, use Shadow Ball!"

(Brock calls out.)

(Marill performs Water Gun and Sneasel performs Shadow ball.)

(They both strike at Team Rocket and are blasting off all over again.)

(Jessie screams.)

Jessie: "This concludes our live coverage!"

James: "Tune in next time!"

(James creams.)

(Then all three scream.)

Team Rocket: "Team Rocket's signing off again!"

Mew: "Thanks a lot, Tracey,"

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to her papa.)

Mew: "And thank you, papa."

Tracey: "Don't thank us, Mew. Thank the Pokémon. They deserve the credit,"

(Tracey says.)

(Mew turns to Scyther.)

Mew: "Thank you Scyther."

(Then turns to Marill.)

Mew: "You two Marill."

(Then turns to Sneasel.)

Mew: "And thank you, Sneasel."

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (Marill, too.)

(Pikachu says,)

(Then Eevee says.)

Eevee: "Eevee." (Thank you.)

(Adriana rubs Mimey's head.)

Adriana: "And let's not forget who protected my garden from that awful Team Rocket."

Professor Oak: "Mr. Mime did a great job garden it for you. Gard? Get it?"

(Professor Oak say)

(Everyone begins laughing.)

(Sneasel soon notices something at the corner of its eye and walks towards the source.)

(Then notices something on the ground and picks it up.)

(Brock notices and asks.)

Brock: "What is it, Sneasel?"

(Sneasel turns around and shows Brock what it has found.)

(The object looks like some kind of rock.)

(It seems like a gray crescent moon, but it's more like a claw.)

Tracey: "What's that?"

(Tracey asks.)

Mew: "It's a Razor Claw,"

(Mew says.)

Mew: "It's one of the evolutionary stones that can help Sneasel evolve, especially at night,"

(Mew says.)

(And right on cue, Sneasel begins to glow.)

Brock: "And right on cue. Sneasel is evolving,"

(Brock says.)

(Sneasel continues to glow and change as it evolves.)

(Now Sneasel is a pale, gray body that resembles both a cat and a weasel.)

(It has a bright red crown and collar made of wide feathers and a single, thinner feather on each ear.)

(The ear feathers are smaller on a female Weavile.)

(Weavile has two tail feathers and three claws on each paw.)

(There is a yellow, oval marking in the center of its forehead.)

(Its eyes are red with three eyelashes, and four fangs protrude from its upper jaw.)

(It let out a cry.)

Weavile: "Weavile."

Misty: "It evolved,"

(Misty says, amazed.)

Mew: "It's a Weavile now,"

(Mew says.)

(She takes out her Pokedex, and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Weavile, the Sharp Claw Pokémon. And the evolved form of Sneasel. A Dark and Ice Type. They live in cold regions, forming groups of four or five that hunt prey with impressive coordination."

Jen: "It looks pretty strong,"

(Jen says.)

(Just then, Mew's Pokeball opens to reveal Sneasler who has come out of the Pokeball.)

Misty: "Sneasler?"

(Misty says, surprised.)

Professor Oak: "Oh my. So this is one of the Pokemon you've received from Hisui Island. It sure is a very unique Pokemon,"

(Professor Oak says amazed.)

Jen: "Wonder why it decided to come out now?"

(Jen replies.)

(Sneasler then turns to Weavile.)

(Weavile does the same.)

(Then the two hold out their claws and look like they're ready to brawl, causing the group to be concerned.)

(However, they settle down and continue to stare at each other.)

(Then they nod their heads.)

Tomo: "Uh, what's going on?"

(Tomo asks.)

(Brock walks to Sneasler and asks.)

Brock: "Hello Sneasler, it's nice to meet you."

Sneasler: "Sneasler,"

(Sneasler replies, looking at Brock.)

(Then Sneasler calmly smiles and leans to Brock calmly.)

(Mew giggles and says.)

Mew: "I think Sneasler likes you Brock."

Tracey: "Yeah. It sure looks like it,"

(Tracey says.)

(Then Mew has an idea.)

Mew: "Hey Brock, maybe you can catch Sneasler. She decided to come because she wants to be with her friends, but it also seems she likes you."

Brock: "Are you sure?"

(Brock asks.)

(Sneasler nods her head in reply.)

Brock: "Alright Sneasler, you can be with me, if you want,"

(Brock says.)

(Sneasler replies.)

Sneasler: "Sneasler."

(Mew then gives Brock Sneasler's Pokeball, and Brock returns Sneasler into the Pokeball.)

(Now Brock has a new Pokemon, and his Sneasel evolves into Weavile.)

(And so, Mew, and the others are fast asleep.)

(Mew sleeps in her room with Pikachu and Eevee.)

(The next day, the group is ready to head off.)

Mew: "Well guys, we're off,"

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Make sure to visit each other."

Tracey: "I will Mew,"

(Tracey says.)

Professor Oak: "Give my regards to Kurt when you bring him the GS Ball,"

(Professor Oak says.)

Mew: "I sure will, Professor,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "We promise,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "We will,"

(Brock says.)

(The Pokemon agrees.)

(Then Professor Oak says.)

Professor Oak: "Don't forget to help each other when the going gets tough, and always do your best."

Everyone: "Right,"

(The group says.)

(Then Daisy says.)

Daisy: "Remember to keep an eye on Tomo and Jen."

Mew: "I will,"

(Mew says.)

(Mew then hugs Zeraora.)

Mew: "I'll miss you too papa."

(Zeraora hugs him back.)

(Gardevoir and the Twins say their goodbyes too.)

(Once the goodbyes are done, Mew says.)

Mew: "Goodbye!"

(Everyone waves goodbye as Mew and the others depart, now Brock returning to the team.)

Professor Oak: "It must be hard to see her go,"

(Professor Oak says to Zeraora.)

(Zeraora nods and calmly smiles.)

(Then Adriana says.)

Adriana: "But she'll be back again."

(Professor Oak nods his head.)

(And with that, Mew and her friends leave Pallet Town once more.)

(This time, they're headed west And it seems certain that the road before them leads to new adventures, new friends, new rivals, and new Pokémon.)
