Capítulo 138: Chapter 43: The Underground Round Up

(After saying goodbye to Lapras, Mew and her friends are at Hamlin Island.)

(The group knows a bridge that will get to the ferry line that will take them to Pallet Town.)

Mew: "I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to get back home,"

(Mew happily says.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pikachu/Eevee," (Me neither.)

(Pikachu and Eevee reply.)

Tracey: "I can't wait to get over to Pallet Town either, Mew, to meet Professor Oak!"

(Tracey says.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "And I bet Professor Oak can't wait until we finally bring him that GS Ball."

(Soon, the group arrives at the bridge and ready to cross.)

(but soon find their way to the island is blocked.)

(The bridge is closed.)

Tomo: "The bridge is closed?"

(Tomo says, confused.)

Jen: "How come?"

(Jen wonders.)

(Mew reads the signs.)

Mew: 'Due to extremely dangerous conditions, people are forbidden to cross this bridge'?"

Tracey: "I wonder what's so dangerous,"

(Tracey wonders.)

(Everyone looks at the town across the way.)

Misty: "If we don't get to that little island, we'll never get to the Pallet Town ferry,"

(Misty says.)

Jen: "It looks safe to me,"

(Jen says.)

Tracey: "Maybe we should just take a chance and cross it anyway,"

(Tracey says.)

(Suddenly, an explosion is heard and seen on the far side of the bridge.)

(leaving Mew and her friends in shock as the smoke clears to reveal part of the bridge has been destroyed.)

Everyone: "Maybe not!"

(The group says in shock.)

(Luckily, Mew has another idea, Mew has called out Gyarados to give them a ride across the water and to the island.)

(Looking through the binoculars, Tracey says.)

Tracey: "That's weird. From what I can see, there are no people over there."

(Soon, the group arrives at the island, and Mew calls Gyarados back to its Pokeball.)

(When they arrive in town, they find that the town on the island is a ghost town.)

Mew: "That's funny. The place looks deserted,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "It's like a ghost town,"

(Misty says.)

(Tracey calls out.)

Tracey: "Hello out there! Hello?!"

Tomo: "Hello!"

(Tomo calls out.)

(Then Jen calls out.)

Jen: "Hello."

(No echo, and no response.)

Tracey: "I don't get it,"

(Tracey says.)

Tomo: "Where is everybody?"

(Tomo wonders.)

Mew: "There's gotta be somebody somewhere,"

(Mew says.)

(Little do they know that in the alley they pass by, they are being watched by a mysterious figure with glowing red eyes.)

(Togepi and Pichu senses it.)

(The group looks through windows to see no one is inside any buildings either.)

(Mew opens the door to the building and calls out.)

Mew: "Anybody here? Hello?! Come out, come out, wherever you are!"

Tomo: "Anyone home!"

(Tomo calls out.)

(Togepi and Pichu jump out of Misty's arms and sit at the table as everyone searches.)

(Suddenly, Tracey calls out.)

Tracey: "Guys, look!"

(Everyone looks outside to see the ferry boat.)

(Mew tries to open the door, but no luck.)

Mew: "No luck. It's locked,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "If we can't get to that ferry, how will we get to Pallet Town?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "I'm not sure,"

(Mew answers.)

(Meanwhile, Togpei and Pichu wander out of the building and walk in the streets of the empty town.)

(Soon, they both see a Voltorb. It bounces with a happy expression and rolls away.)

(Togepi and Pichu follow.)

(At the same time in the building, Misty discovers Togepi and Pichu are missing.)

(Tracey notices and asks.)

Tracey: "What's wrong?"

Misty: "Togepi and Pichu are missing!"

(Misty answers.)

Everyone: "Missing?"

(Everyone asks in shock.)

(Soon everyone rushes out of the building to search for the little ones.)

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu! Togepi! Pichu!"

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Togepi!"

Tomo: "Pichu!"

(Tomo calls out.)

(Tracey calls out.)

Tracey: "Togepi!"

Jen: "Pichu!"

(Jen calls out.)

_______________________________________

(Little did they know that down the same alley they run past, Togepi is rolling on its new Voltorb friend as Pichu runs beside it.)

(All three are having fun.)

(Everyone runs back to see Togepi and Pichu are playing with Voltorb.)

Tracey: "That's not what I think it is, is it?"

(Tracey asks.)

Tomo: "It's a Voltorb,"

(Tomo says.)

(Mew takes out her Pokedex, and Dexter says.)

Dexter: " Voltorb, the Ball Pokeball. An electric Type. This mysterious Pokémon uses strong electric attacks and is often found near power plants. Use extreme caution, Voltorb may explode without warning."

(The group doesn't like the sound of that.)

Misty: "Did he say explode?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "He did,"

(Mew says.)

(But notices how fun the three are having.)

Mew: "But it looks like Togepi and Pichu made a new friend."

(Misty rushes over and says.)

Misty: "Togepi, get down off that Voltorb before you get hurt."

(Misty tries to pull Togepi up, but grabs a hold on Voltorb, much to Misty's worry.)

(Jen giggles.)

Jen: "I think Togepi doesn't want to let his new friend go."

(Suddenly, Mew says.)

Mew: "Misty, be careful! I got a feeling we're not alone."

Tracey: "I got a feeling you're right, Mew,"

(Tracey says.)

(Everyone looks down the alley and sees larger round objects with eyes lining the walls and staring at them.)

Misty: "There must be…"

(Misty worriedly says.)

Tracey: "At least, twenty. Or thirty. And those look badder than Voltorb,"

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "I Have an idea what they are,"

(Mew says, and takes out her Pokedex again.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Electrode, the Ball Pokemon, and the evolved form of Voltorb. An Electric Type. Highly concentrated electric energy causes this Pokémon to explode unpredictably. Also known as the Bomb Ball.

Jen: "The Bomb Ball?! They're even scarier than the Voltorb are!"

(Jen says, frightened.)

(Soon, the Electrode rolls out of the side of the alley.)

Mew: "Don't worry Misty, just don't sneeze, or move around, or even breathe,"

(Mew calmly says.)

Misty: "Don't breathe? If I don't breathe, I'll croak,"

(Misty says, frightened.)

Tracey: "Misty, I think we'd better get away from these electrodes before they blow!"

(Tracey says.)

Tomo: "What about Voltorb?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "We'll have to take it with us. Togepi and Pichu are sticking like glue."

(Mew says.)

(Misty then climbs on Pichu and the three small Pokemon smile.)

(Then Misty turns to the Pokemon.)

Misty: "Hey, why don't we all go back to the ferry terminal? There are lots of places to play there. C'mon."

(And so, Mew and the others move slowly through the crowd of Electrodes, trying not to upset them.)

(Suddenly, a gust of wind appears and knocks the sign down, irritating the Electrode and looking like they're ready to blow.)

Mew: "That's a bad sign!"

(Mew says, worried.)

Tracey: "Let's get outta here!"

(Tracey calls out.)

(The group scream and flee for their lives as the Electrode all explode, one by one.)

(Soon enough, the group finds himself surrounded by the Electrode.)

Mew: "We're surrounded!"

(Mew says, shocked.)

Tomo: "We'll never get out of this,"

(Tomo says.)

(Suddenly, someone calls out.)

???: "Hold it! Don't move!"

(Everyone looks up to see what looks like a man, a cowboy to be exact.)

(He is wearing a brown cloak with a brown hat, and is suspected to be wearing cowboy attire.)

???: "Okay, go!"

(He spreads his arms opening the cloak as Pokeballs fly out.)

(Soon, multiple Diglett come out of the Pokeballs and on the ground.)

Tracey: "They're Diglett!"

(Tracey says.)

(Using the Pokedex, Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Diglett, the Mole Pokémon. A Ground Type. Diglett loves to create underground tunnel systems.

(The cowboy calls out.)

The cowboy: "Diglett, take those Electrodes underground!"

(The Digletts dig tunnels underneath the Electrodes, and soon fall in just before they explode.)

(Soon, all the Electrodes that are in their way are gone, much to their relief.)

Mew: "That was a close one,"

(Mew sighs.)

(The stranger jumps off the building and lands in front of the group.)

(Then he says.)

The cowboy: "It's not safe. Follow me."

(Mew and her friends follow the mysterious man to the ferry docks.)

(Meanwhile, Togepi and Pichu are still playing with their Voltorb friend.)

Misty: "Good thing for us you showed up when you did,"

(Misty says.)

Tracey: "Yeah, you sure did save the day,"

(Tracey says.)

(Then Mew asks.)

Mew: "Sir, maybe you can tell us where everybody disappeared to?"

Tomo: "How come this island has so many Electrodes and so few people?"

(Tomo asks.)

(The stranger explains.)

The stranger: "This island used to be filled with visitors and tourists from all over the world."

[Flashback:]

(The man explains.)

The man: "But a few years ago, an inventor started raising Voltorb as part of an experiment to get Pokémon to generate electric power. One day, the Voltorb got loose from the lab and they've been multiplying ever since. Conditions must have been just about perfect for them, because most of the Voltorb evolved into Electrode. Meanwhile, they kept right on multiplying, till they pretty much took over the whole island. There were more and more electrodes, and less and less space. So they started getting pretty ornery and irritated. They got so stressed out, they started blowing up! And that's when everybody cleared off the island."

[Flashback Ends.]

_______________________________________

(Jen asks.)

Jen: "Well, what about the ferry to Pallet Town?"

???: "I'm afraid it's, not running. The island's too dangerous,"

(The man says.)

(Then Tracey asks.)

Tracey: "But, if this island's as dangerous as you say it is, how come you're on it, sir?"

Tomo: "Yeah. What are you doing on the island?

(Tomo asks.)

(The man says.)

Poncho: "Poncho my name. The mayor here hired me. I'm a Diglett rancher."

(Then a Diglett pops out of Poncho's hat.)

Everyone: "Diglett rancher?"

(The group says, surprised.)

(Poncho explains.)

Poncho: "Over on the big island, there's some prairie land set off by itself that's wide open. So, I trained my Diglett to dig underneath the Electrode, guide them through the underground tunnels they make all the way to that prairie. The Electrode roam around free, not jammed together like they are here. They're relaxed, they're happy, and they stop blowing up. Some folks think, the only way to deal with Electrodes is to explode them, but I like my way better."

Mew: "I bet the Electrode like your way better, too. It's a lot safer for them and the island,"

(Mew says.)

Poncho: "Well, dear, so far, they like it fine,"

(Poncho says.)

Tracey: "And once they're out on the prairie, all the islanders can come back home,"

(Tracey replies.)

Misty: "They must be glad you're here,"

(Misty says.)

(But Poncho says.)

Poncho: "Truth is, many of the islanders complaining my way takes too long and costs too much."

(Soon, the phone rings.)

Misty: "I got it!"

(Misty says.)

(She picks up the phone and answers.)

Misty: "Hello?"

(Then turns her head.)

Misty: "Mr. Poncho, it's for you. Somebody from the mayor's office needs you."

Poncho: "Here we go again,"

(Poncho says, and takes the phone.)

Poncho: "I just brought the second bunch of Electrode over. I should have the third bunch over…"

(But Poncho becomes shocked.)

Poncho: "What?! But I just.. That's your choice. Goodbye."

Tracey: "Some kind of problem?"

(Tracey asks.)

Poncho: "A big one. They say they want the Electrode gone today, and I'm officially off the job,"

(Poncho explains.)

(Everyone becomes puzzled.)

Poncho: "All I needed was a few more days and the Electrode would have been safe and sound,"

(Poncho says.)

Mew: "Maybe we can help you, Poncho!"

(Mew says.)

(But Poncho says.)

Poncho: "They've already hired someone else."

Misty: "But who? Who could get rid of the Electrode in a day?"

(Misty wonders.)

(Meanwhile, in the water, some kind of machine is approaching the island.)

(Poncho explains.)

Poncho: "Probably hired whoever promised a faster solution. They'll just round up the Electrode so they'll blow themselves up at once."

Mew: "But that's dangerous! It will destroy the island! Also, it's wrong! They can't do that to the Electrodes!"

(Mew says, shocked.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "Mew's right! They shouldn't hurt all those Electrodes because they think they're in the way! That isn't fair!"

Poncho: "I agree with you, girls. But there's nothing I can do about it now,"

(Poncho says.)

(Soon, the machine approaches the landfall, and the group from the ferry hear the rumbling.)

Tracey: "What's that rumbling?"

(Tracey asks.)

Poncho: "Sounds to me like the beginning of the end,"

(Poncho answers.)

(Everyone heads outside to see the machine close up and stops right in front of them.)

Tracey: "What's this thing?"

(Tracey asks.)

Mew: "I think it's trouble,"

(Mew answers.)

(Suddenly, they hear a familiar voice.)

???: "How's my hair?"

???: "Good, how's mine?"

(Another voice answers.)

(Then another voice answers.)

???: "Good! How's mine?"

(Two familiar voices answers.)

Both:"Smelly."

(The group soon realizes.)

(Mew is the first to say.)

Mew: "Oh no."

Tomo: "I know those voices,"

(Tomo says.)

_______________________________________

(Then Team Rocket rises into view.)

Jessie: Time again to prepare for trouble!

James: Just like always, make it double!

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

James: To unite all people within our nation!

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie: JESSIE!

James: JAMES!

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James: (coughs): Suh-kuh-Surrender Now Or Prepare To Fight.

Meowth: Meowth, Dat's right!

Meowth: "Make way for the environmentally unfriendly Electrode Eliminator!"

(Meowth says.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "We convinced the mayor that it's the quickest way to take out the Electrode trash."

James: "It seems, the citizens are tired of waiting while pokey old Poncho cobbles all the crackly little critters!"

(James says.)

Meowth: "Now we got da contract ta corral dem, so it's time for Mr. Molasses ta hit da trail!"

(Meowth says, holding the contact in paw.)

(Tomo calls out.)

Tomo: "I don't trust a thing you say! This must be some kind of trick!"

(But Poncho says.)

Poncho: "It's no trick. That work order they're waving's got the mayor's seal on it."

Misty: "I can't believe it. Why would Team Rocket want to help out and move the Electrode?"

(Misty says, shocked.)

Jessie: "For purely selfish reasons, of course,"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Not only do we get paid handsomely for our efforts, but we're going to keep all the electrodes we clear out!"

(James says.)

Meowth: "Yeah! An' dey used ta say crime doesn't pay,"

(Meowth replies.)

(But Mew says.)

Mew: "Uh Team Rocket, I wouldn't do that if I were you."

Jessie: "Give us one reason?"

(Jessie asks.)

Mew: "Because it's never smart to mess with a population of Pokemon, especially a colony of Electrodes,"

(Mew says.)

James: "Say you!"

(James says.)

Jessie: "We're going to get those Electrodes, so get out of our way,"

(Jessie says.)

Meowth: "And let the professionals deal with it,"

(Meowth says.)

(Jessie and James chuckles as they lower back down in the machine and drive towards the group of Electrode.)

Meowth: "Initiate the Electrode elimination system!"

(Meowth says.)

James: "Roger! Armored arms, go!"

(James says.)

(The arms extends.)

Jessie: "Now let's get them popping mad!"

(Jessie says.)

(The arms touch two Electrodes and make them go boom.)

Meowth: "Dat oughta do it. Won't be long now!"

(Meowth says.)

(Mew and the others watch helplessly as Team Rocket makes the Electrode explode.)

Tracey: "Oh no! Team Rocket's gonna make all the Electrode explode!"

(Tracey says.)

Misty: "But I don't see what good it does anybody if they blow up the Electrode,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "It will be good for those three,"

(Mew says.)

Poncho: "She's right. Exploding tires them out, lowers the Electrode's energy to the bare minimum so they can't help but get captured,"

(Poncho says.)

(Right on cue, the arms grab the two Electrodes that explode and place them in a containment area.)

Poncho: "See how easy they're all getting scooped up? Now they can't explode and defend themselves, least not until their power gets regenerated,"

(Poncho says.)

Misty: "I wish we could do something to help,"

(Misty says.)

Poncho: "So do I, Misty. Just as much as you do. But Team Rocket are the ones the mayor hired to do the job,"

(Poncho says.)

Jen: "Guess so,"

(Jen says.)

Tomo: "All they care about is getting those Electrodes!"

(Tomo angrily says.)

Tracey: "But with that official order, there's nothing we can do to stop them!"

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "I tried to warn them, but I suspect this is going to blow up in their faces, and I don't mean metaphorically,"

(Mew says.)

(Mew and the others watch as more and more Electrodes are blown up.)

(Soon, more Electrodes from other parts of the island race to rescue their comrades.)

(Soon, every Electrode on the island has Team Rocket surrounded.)

(Seeing them, Jessie worriedly asks.)

Jessie: "What's going on out there?"

James: "I'm not sure, but I think we're surrounded,"

(James answers, just as worried.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "This is gonna make things a whole lot easier. Now we got em all exactly where we want em!"

(Mew and the others don't think it's a good thing.)

Mew: "This looks bad,"

(Mew says, worried.)

Tomo: "Yeah! Look at all those Electrodes!"

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "They look mad, and you know what happens when that happens,"

(Misty says.)

Jen: "Kaboom!"

(Jen says, and spreads her arms out.)

(Then Poncho says.)

Poncho: "This is bad. Those Electrodes are hotter than a Charizard's breath in July. And it looks to me like they're ready to blow up real good this time!"

Tracey: "You're right. And if they do, the whole island may be destroyed,"

(Tracey says.)

(Just then, Togepi and Pichu's Voltorb friend hop forward.)

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Wait, Voltorb! What are you doing?"

Mew: "I think Voltorb wants to save the Electrodes,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Voltrob stands between Team Rocket and the rest of the Electrode.)

(Team Rocket notices it.)

Meowth: "Hey! Look at the little shrimp!"

(Meowth says.)

Jessie: "Get it out of our way, we have much bigger fish to fry,"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Oh, let's catch it,"

(James says.)

Meowth: "Yeah, I just love seafood,"

(Meowth says.)

James: "Arms away,"

(James says, and begins to control the arm.)

(Togepi starts waving his arms back and forth.)

(Then his little arms begin to glow.)

(Soon, Togepi starts jumping up and down.)

(Soon, the group notices.)

Tomo: "Togepi's acting a little jumpy, huh?"

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "Maybe so, but from the way it's moving it could be that, Togepi's trying an attack!"

(Misty says, realizing it.)

Mew: "I think Togepi must have used Metronome again,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "I think you're right. I think it made Togepi use the Splash Attack,"

(Tomo says.)

(The Electrode Eliminator's arms reach to Voltorb, but Voltorb rolls out of the way.)

(Voltorb continues to dodge the arms.)

(Jessie scolds James.)

Jessie: "Come on, James! This isn't a video game!"

Meowth: "Quit playing around!"

(Meowth says.)

James: "I'll get it this time!"

(James says, controlling the arms.)

(James tries over and over again to hit Voltorb, but Voltorb manages to dodge all the strikes from the robotic arms.)

James: "This thing is slipperier than a greased Gengar!"

(James says, frustrated.)

_______________________________________

(Seeing his friend being attacked, Togepi and Pichu rush over to help it, shocking the friends.)

(Misty cries out.)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!"

Pikachu: "Pi Pi Pi!" (Togepi!)

(Pikachu cries out.)

Eevee: "Eev Eev!" (Pichu!)

(Eevee cries out.)

(Togepi and Pichu race toward Voltorb and stand by it.)

(Then Pikachu and Eevee dash in and stand between them and Team Rocket.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (Keep away!)

(Pikachu says.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee! Try using Thunderbolt!"

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Pichu, try to use Thunder Shock too!"

(Pikachu and Eevee, try to use Thunderbolt, while Pichu uses Thunder Shock, but the robot doesn't have any effect.)

(Pichu rolls over, due to having little control of his electricity.)

(Meowth chuckles.)

Meowth: "You'd think after all this time that twerp would know us better. We knew we'd be collecting Electrode with this thing, so we made it shock proof! Let em attack and explode! They can't hurt us in this baby!"

Jessie: "This time we're shock proof, and our plan's foolproof,"

(Jessie says.)

James: "I think we've done enough gabbing, now let's do some Electrode grabbing!"

(James adds.)

(Soon, Team Rocket charges forward with laughter.)

(Misty cries out.)

Misty: "If we don't stop them, Team Rocket's gonna roll over Togepi and Pichu!"

Mew: "And Pikachu, Eevee, and Voltorb along with them!"

(Mew adds.)

(Seeing this, Poncho has enough standing by.)

Poncho: "Those three are a disgrace to the whole Electrode wrangling profession!"

(He takes off a hat to reveal another Pokemon. He takes it and throws it.)

Poncho: "Go, Dugtrio!"

(Dugtrio comes out of the Pokeball.)

Tracey: "It's Dugtrio!"

(Tracey says.)

(Mew takes out the Pokedex, and Dexter says.)

Mew: "Dugtrio, the Mole Pokemon, and the evolved form of Diglett. Formed when three Diglett combine. A Ground Type. This Pokémon is able to tunnel deep beneath the earth's surface."

(Dugtrip then begins to burrow under Team Rocket's machine, weakening the ground beneath.)

(Soon, the machine begins to sink into the tunnel.)

(Team Rocket notices.)

(Meowth grows worried.)

Meowth: "What's that?"

(Jessie says, worried.)

Jessie: "It feels like we're headed for…"

James: "A fall!"

(James adds.)

(Soon, the ground gives way, forming a hole, and the machine falls through it as Dugtrio resurfaces.)

(Misty cheers.)

Misty: "That was great! Dugtrio saved the island from Team Rocket!"

Poncho: "That's right, but we still got work to do,"

(Poncho says.)

(Then says.)

Poncho: "Go, Diglett! Let's finish the job!"

(he spreads his cloak once more and all his Diglett come out of their Pokeballs.)

(Then, all the Diglett burrow underground.)

(Poncho calls out.)

Poncho: "Diglett, dig round the Electrode and move em on out of here!"

(The Diglett do so, and the Electrode fall right into the tunnel system leading them to the prairie with the Diglett's help.)

(Meanwhile Team Rocket is out of the machine, discouraged.)

Jessie: "Well, we finally hit bottom,"

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "We've sunk pretty low, but never this far."

Meowth: "Yeah, this is different. We usually dig a hole for ourselves,"

(Meowth says.)

(Soon, they feel rumbling, and soon see the Electrode stampeding their way.)

(Team Rocket screams in fear.)

Team Rocket: "Electrode!"

(The Electrode herd Team Rocket through the tunnel with help from the Diglett who are leading them up the path.)

(Even Team Rocket are being carried for the ride.)

Meowth: "I'm kinda enjoying this,"

(Meowth says.)

Jessie: "But with all these Electrodes…"

(Jessie panics.)

James: "We might be blasting off again!"

(James feels the same.)

(Soon, Poncho's Dugtrio makes an opening for the Electrode to exit out and onto the prairie.)

(All the Electrodes are very happy.)

(Soon, Mew and the others arrive in Poncho's balloon.)

Poncho: "Well, as you can see, the Electrode are a lot happier out here. They're not cooped up, so they hardly ever blow up,"

(Poncho says.)

Misty: "This place is the perfect home for them,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Sure is,"

(Mew says.)

(The Pokemon agree as well.)

(The balloon lands and the hatch opens. Voltorb hops out and looks at the prairie.)

(Then turns to the balloon where Togepi and Pichu are.)

(He turns back and forth between the prairie where he is kind of, and the dear friends he has made.)

(Just then, the Electrode cheers for Voltorb with smiles.)

(Voltorb is surprised, but shows a happy expression on his face.)

(And with that, Voltorb jumps and calls out to Togepi and Pichu.)

(Togepi and Pichu are so happy that they leave the balloon and reach Voltorb with glee.)

(Then all three hope in a circle together.)

Tracey: "I think Voltorb wants to go with Togepi and Pichu,"

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "I think so. And it seems Togepi and Pichu are happy too,"

(Mew says.)

(Misty walks to the three and kneels to Voltorb.)

Misty: "Voltorb, do you want to come with me, Togpei, and Pichu? I promise to take good care of you, and I'm sure Togepi and Pichu would love to have another friend."

Voltorb: "Voltorb,"

(Voltorb happily replies with a nod.)

(Misty smiles and uses her Pokeball to catch Voltorb.)

(Now it's official, Misty has caught Voltorb.)

(The next day, the islanders have returned to the island, and Mew and the others are on the ferry.)

Tracey: "Well, the bridge is fixed and the island's back to normal. Thanks to you, Poncho,"

(Tracey says.)

Poncho: "Thank you,"

(Poncho says.)

Poncho: "But the Diglett and Dugtrio sure helped out. And the mayor was so grateful, she gave me a bonus, and a key to the city. Well, we sure showed that Team Rocket, didn't we?"

Misty: "Those three are a disgrace!"

(Misty says.)

(She chuckles and says.)

Misty: "That was something a movie hero would say."

Poncho: "A movie hero? I'm no movie hero, Misty. That's for sure,"

(Poncho says, embarrassed and lets out a chuckle.)

Tomo: "Well, you're our hero, Poncho!"

(Tomo says.)

Poncho: "Thanks, Tomo. That means a lot to me,"

(Poncho says.)

(Then Mew suggests.)

Mew: "Hey, why don't you come to Pallet Town with us?"

Poncho: "Well, I'm much obliged for the invite, but I've got a home where the Electrode roam,"

(Poncho says.)

Poncho: "Good one. It sure was nice meeting you all, though."

Misty: "Maybe we'll meet again someday,"

(Misty says.)

(Poncho winks.)

Poncho: "Maybe so."

(Soon enough, Mew and her friends onboard the ferry as soon as it departs, Poncho waves goodbye.)

(Poncho calls out.)

Poncho: "Adios, amigos!"

(Mew and the others wave goodbye to Poncho and Diglett as they travel on the ferry back to Pallet Town.)

(Misty turns to see Pichu, Togepi, and Voltorb playing together.)

(Today has also been a win for both Pichu and Togepi, because they made a new friend.)
