The two stood facing each other from a distance. While the Emperor was standing inside, Hui Lan stood outside the inner doors.

"Xiao Mao, what's the situation outside?" Hui Lan's voice appeared in Xiao Mao's mind.

After scanning the entire building, he quickly reported back to his miss, "Everyone has gone out, miss."
