Capítulo 55: Epilogue

Five years later:

“WHERE IS EVERYONE? WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG FOR EVERYONE TO COMPLETE THEIR TASK? WHERE IS MY DRESS?” V was shouting at everyone. Overdramatic would be an understatement. It was V’s wedding and she was in full-on panic mode.

“We are here!” I announced.

“And so is the dress,” Nao said and we laid the wedding dress on the bed. Seeing the dress left all three of us in tears. It was the very dress Liz always said she would want to wear on her wedding day.

“Come on Come on, we cannot get late!” Aunt Inez announced as soon as she entered the room with her makeup kit. She made V sit on the chair in front of the dressing table while Nao and I readied her sandals with high heels as well as the accessories.

“Where is the bouquet?” asked a panicked Nao.

“Balfer and Shawn were supposed to bring them,” I replied in an equally panicked tone with one hand on the side of my waist and another on my head.

“What do you mean?” V asked pretty much losing her patience now.
