Sven had an innocent childhood, but...

His mother spoiled him so much that he became useless. A mommy's boy. 

His father was not in favor of that, and that's why he moved away a bit because he didn't want to argue with his wife, since he married her because it was love at first sight, after having been introduced by the late Old Master.
