Capítulo 144: Couples [II]

Derek and Lana.

The third couple of the Golden Royals, not in the corresponding order, but the couple that have had the least time together.

When Derek met Lana, he knew at that moment that she would be his other half; the Lockhart have a sixth sense about the couple they choose; they are faithful to only one woman. If the woman dies, the man becomes a widowed, and if he's left childless, what he can do is to make use of the new incubation technology to give life to his descendant.

There have been several occasions in which the Lockhart's could not marry because they have not found the ideal woman, the love of their lives. During all the previous generations, there were very few times that it happened, but every time it passed, it is only for two reasons, or they do not find their beloved, or their beloved dies before they can have offspring.
