Capítulo 67: Chapter 67 The Bandit Leader Brooks The Thief

As Thomas approached the boy he asked "So how are you feeling?" The boy stared at Thomas nervously as he said "I-I'm doing f-fine." Thomas stared at him as he said "Loosen up I don't bite." Daisy stared at Thomas as she said "He's right he doesn't bite, he kills people." The little boy had a terrified look on his face as Thomas glanced at Daisy and mumbled "He was already scared of me, way to throw me under the bus." Thomas turned back to the boy as he said "I don't kill kids." Daisy walked over to Thomas as she asked "Is it because you haven't had the chance?" Thomas stared at her annoyed as he muttered "I had plenty of chances I just haven't taken any of them." As Thomas said this the boy panicked and rolled out of the bed and onto the floor as Thomas mumbled "Dammit, that sounded terrible didn't it?" As the boy got back up he peeked over the bed and at Thomas as he asked "Are you going to kill me?" Thomas stood up and walked towards him as he said "If I wanted you dead I could've just left you at the bandit camp." The boy stared at Thomas as his expression got more cheerful as he hopped onto the bed and excitedly shouted "Your the one who saved me?" Thomas stared at him as he mumbled "The kid did see me when I was carrying him out of the camp right?" Thomas shrugged as he said "I'm sure we'll find your parents soon enough." The boy jumped onto Thomas as he asked "Can we go look for them now?" Thomas stared at him as Daisy said "I'll happily help you search for them." As the boy turned to look at Thomas he was gone without a trace as the boy looked back at Daisy he asked "Where did he go?" Daisy stared at him as she said "I have no clue he always disappears." As Thomas left the room he walked outside of the inn and began to walk around the town. As he was walking he found another poster of himself with the bounty now rewarding one hundred and five gold pieces. Thomas stared at it as he mumbled "Whoever that famous bounty hunter is it seems like he'll be interested pretty soon if my bounty keeps increasing." Thomas shrugged as he continued to walk around the town. While walking he found three suspicious people hiding in an alleyway hiding from someone or something. As Thomas seen this he walked up behind them and continue to do what they did. As they asked each other "Did you see where he went?" Thomas stared at them as he tapped one of them on the shoulder and asked "Where did who go?" They all turned to Thomas as they said "We're looking for whoever could've taken down our entire settlement." Thomas stared at them as he shrugged and said "You might be searching a while." They all stared at him as they asked "You wouldn't happen to know who attacked us would you?" Thomas smiles and shrugged as he said "Just a wild guess but maybe the answer has been in front of you this whole time." They stared at Thomas confused as they asked "Do you know or not?" As Thomas stared at them he pulled out the dagger he had taken from one of the bandits as he asked "Does this ring a bell?" They stared at the dagger as they observed all the details and said "That dagger belongs to our bandit group I'd recognize it anywhere." Thomas waved the dagger around as he said "Now your getting it." The bandits backed away from Thomas as they asked "Where did you get that?" Thomas put his finger on the tip of the blade as he asked "So you wanna know how I found this thing?" They stared at the dagger as they said "We'd like you to explain how you got yourself one of our daggers." Thomas waved it around some more as he said "If you haven't pieced it all together yet, then you should know I'm the man your looking for." They all began to back up as one of them said "I just used a telekinesis spell to talk to the boss he said that we should stall for time until he gets here." Thomas stared at them as he walked towards them with the dagger and asked "How much time are we talking?" They stared at him as they said "Perhaps five minutes." Thomas continued to walk towards them as he held up the knife and said "Then why don't you entertain me?" As they began to pull out their weapons Thomas threw the dagger into one of their torsos as he said "Waiting is a part of life but unfortunately it's the way yours is going to end." The man pulled the dagger out of his chest as he shouted "You thought you could kill me with a dagger!" Thomas stared at him as he said "If I wanted you dead I wouldn't have avoided your vital organs." The man swung the dagger at Thomas as he shouted "I'm calling your bluff, I'll kill you before the boss can even show up." Thomas smiles as they all three ran towards him. Thomas looked at their weapons and asked "Do you really think two daggers a sword and a spear are enough to do me in?" They all charged Thomas at once as he mumbled "I guess they do believe that." As they got near Thomas he avoided the spear caught the sword that was being swung down towards him and kicked the dagger out of the other man's hand as he said "You know this is really annoying, I mean seriously I kill dozens of you and then they just add three more." Thomas threw the sword man away and grabbed hold of the spear as he pulled him towards him and grabbed him by the face with one hand as he said "Your five minutes are taking forever." They all stared at Thomas as a giant man wielding two axes called out "Hey you the man who attacked my bandit stronghold." Thomas glanced at him and threw the spear man aside as he asked "What the hell do you want?" The man began to walk towards Thomas as he shouted "I am known as Brooks the thief!" Thomas stared at him as he mumbled "What the hell does this moron want?" The giant man raised an axe and pointed it at Thomas as he shouted "I will kill you for interfering with my plans of stealing those people." Thomas stared at the man as he angrily muttered "So your the idiot who kidnapped that kid and all those people?" The man raised the axe and swung it at Thomas as he shouted "I am no idiot!" Thomas jumped over the axe and landed on the ground as he asked "Are you one of those people who kill others without a second thought?" The man began to swing his axes repeatedly as he shouted "I kill who I want and you are no exception!" Thomas began to dodge the axes while backing up as he asked "What if it was your own family?" The man began to swing the axes faster as he shouted "I would kill them so they couldn't hold me back!" Thomas stopped moving and flared at the man as the axes came close to him he grabbed them both and stopped them in their tracks as a tear fell from his eye he shouted "I don't even have a damn family!" As Thomas stared at the man while holding the axes the man shouted "Your eye has gone crimson red!" Thomas pushed the axes away from him as he mumbled "Dammit I'm losing my level headedness again." Thomas began to breathe in and out as he mumbled "Deep breathes." As Thomas did this the man raised his axes and shouted "I'll kill you in an instant this time!" Thomas glared at him once more as he mumbled "Its no use the angers gonna take over again." Thomas began to dodge try and dodge the axes as he swung them faster and harder. As the axe came near Thomas the bandit flipped the axe onto the flat side and knocked Thomas into the wall as he shouted "You can't win!" Thomas stood up as he muttered "Its only a matter of time." The bandit stared at him as he asked "Matter of time for what?" Thomas stared at him as his other eye began to change red as he mumbled "Until I'm no longer in control." As the red took over Thomas stood their as if frozen as the man raised the axes above Thomas and shouted "Die!" Thomas looked at the axes and stepped to the side as he broke the handles. As the shards of wood flew through the air he grabbed one of the sharp pieces of wood and lodged it in his eye as mumbled "Damn it, I lost control again." As the bandits body fell to the ground the other began to run away as Thomas's eyes returned to their original colors.
