Capítulo 36: Chapter 36 Cart Problems

As they were walking to the next destination they came across a cart with a broken wheel that appeared to be facing the same direction they were going. As they walked closer to the cart a man and two boys stood by the side of the path as they tried to get Thomas's attention. Thomas pointed to them as Lily and Scarlett stared and asked "Should we help them?" Thomas sighed as he said, "We already noticed them so we might as well help out a little." Thomas, Lily, and Scarlett all walked over as they asked "Do you need any help?" The two boys stared at Scarlett as Thomas said "Before you ask a stupid question the answer is no she's not gonna attack you." The boys stared at Thomas as they said "Our dad crashed the cart and broke the wheel." Thomas stared at the cart as he asked "How do you move it?" They stared at it as they said "The horse that used to move it ran away after we crashed."

Thomas shrugged as he said, "I guess it can't be helped." They stared at him as he walked off into the forest as they asked "Are you gonna help us." Thomas ignored them as he unsheathed his daggers and cut a poorly made circle from the tree. He put his finger up to the middle of it as he mumbled "Will a forty percent water bolt be enough?" He shrugged as he said, "Only one way to find out." Thomas blasted a water bolt through the ruffly made circle as he began to scrape his blades against the wood as he made it smoother and smoother. Thomas held it up as he mumbled "This should do it." He stared at his newly made wheel as he teleported in front of the man as he said "One cart wheel." The man stared at him as he said "Thank you." Thomas walked to the front of the carriage as he said "Everyone get in." They all stared at him as they asked "What are you going to do?" Thomas stared at them as he said "After he attaches the new wheel I'm gonna have to pull it to the next town."

They stared at him as they asked "By yourself?" Thomas shrugged as he said, "We don't exactly have a horse to pull the cart." They all stared at him as they said "I'm sure theirs another way to move the cart." Thomas looked at them as he said "After the wheels attached get in and then think about other ways to move it." As the man attached the new wheel Thomas tied a rope around himself and attached the other end of the rope to the cart as he said "This is gonna be one heck of a workout." The man stared at him as he said "Let me know if you need to take a break." Thomas stared at him as he said "I'll be sure to let you know but I'm kinda on a schedule right now so I'll try to make it there as soon as possible." The man got into the cart as he said "That's fine and all but your health should take top priority." Thomas mumbled, "If health is a top priority maybe I should get my priorities straight." Thomas began to move as he pulled the cart with him.

Thomas continued to walk as he turned around and said "If I keep going at this rate we should make it there tomorrow." The man stared at Thomas as he asked "Are you really going to be alright?" Thomas continued to walk as he said "I wouldn't worry about it too much." As Lily and Scarlett sat with the man and two boys as they asked them "What would you have done if we didn't show up to help with your cart?" The man stared at Lily and Scarlett as he said "We probably would've abandoned the cart and headed back to the town." They all continued to talk as the cart stopped moving. They all looked at Thomas as he said "The sun's starting to set." The man stared at Thomas as he asked "Should we make camp for the night?" Thomas looked around as he sniffed the air and said "You guys set up camp I'll be back shortly." Thomas untied the rope as he ran into the forest as he said "I can smell fruit!"

Thomas continued to run in a straight direction towards the smell as he said "This time I gotta get enough food for six people." As Thomas found a fruit tree and a few berry bushes he grabbed some of the berries and ate some of them as he said "Well their not poison berries." Thomas started to grab the berries as he stuffed them into his pouch as he said "They are bitter though." Thomas looked at the tree as he climbed it and grabbed a piece of the fruit as he bit into it and said "Sweet and juicy." Thomas started to grab the fruit as he put it into the bag as he said "This fruit doesn't taste half bad." Thomas looked up at the sky as he teleported back and said "Still go some day left." Thomas emptied his satchel of the fruit as he looked at the forest once again as he said "I'll be back again." Thomas ran back into the forest as Lily said "We'll get the food started." Thomas ran deeper into the forest as he said "Let's see we're gonna want some meat."

Thomas stood still and closed his eyes as he started to smell the air. As he stood there he smelt an animal as he said "Whatever you are you should be edible." Thomas ran towards the smell as he said "This smell is kinda like a boar." As Thomas saw the creature he stared at it as he said "Well what do we got here?" Thomas stared at the bear-sized boar that was covered in scars as he asked "That thing, is edible isn't it?" Thomas shrugged as he walked in front of it and asked "Hey boar I can eat you right?" The boar turned to look at Thomas as it squealed and charged him. Thomas stared at the boar shocked as he said "You're a lot quicker than the ones I fought before." As the boar came closer to Thomas he grabbed the tusks as the boar pushed him back as he said "Well aren't you a strong feisty piece of meat." As Thomas quit being pushed he held the boar still as he smiled and tossed the boar over him. As the boar hit the ground it slid across the ground into a tree as Thomas walked over to the boar as he rubbed his wrist and said "Your pretty heavy."

Thomas unsheathed his weapons as he walked closer to the giant boar as he said "Don't worry it'll only hurt for a second." As Thomas raises his blade and shoved it into the board stomach it began to squeal more and louder. As Thomas killed the boar he set his hand on it and teleported it and himself back to the others as he fell to the ground and said "I got the meat!" They all stared at him as they asked "Are you alright." Thomas struggled to his feet as he said "Don't worry about me that's just because I'm overusing my mana." The man and the two boys stared at the boar as they said "That's the same boar that's been terrorizing us merchants for weeks." Thomas sat back down as he said "That boar was really heavy but I'm sure it'll taste good." Lily and Scarlett walked over to the boar as they looked at the man and said "If you skin it, you can have its hide." Thomas unsheathed his blade as he tossed it to the man as he said "I noticed you didn't have one so you can use mine."

The man picked up the blade and began to remove the boar's hide as he said "Thank you." Thomas laid back as he said, "First thing tomorrow we're all going to the town." As a couple of hours passed by the man handed Thomas a dish made from the pork and fruit he had found as he stared at Thomas and said "That little girl sure knows how to cook." Thomas took the bowl as he said "Yup." The man stared at him as he asked "Is that all you have to say?" Thomas handed him the plate as he yawned and said "Too tired to talk." The man took the plate as he said "I understand." The man walked away as Thomas began to fall asleep. He stared at the sky as he mumbled "Tomorrow is a new town." They all stared at Thomas as Lily said "If he keeps overworking himself he's just gonna get more and more tired." They all looked at each other as they said "Goodnight."
