Capítulo 199: Chapter 199 Sorrowful Silence Guild Fight Part 1

As the lady silently followed Thomas back to the inn he glanced at her and asked "Why are you following me?" The lady stared at him and said "I get it you don't want to see me, but I'm also going back to the inn." Thomas turned back around and said "You did what you had to for a reason, that's fine." The lady continued to stare at him as she said "But you could've died." Thomas sighed and said "Look I don't really have a family but if I did I'm sure I would've done the same thing if I were you." The lady glanced down at the ground and asked "What happened to your family, did they die at the hands of someone else?" Thomas stared up into the sky and said "Nothing like that, but as far as I know I don't have one." As they entered the inn the lady glanced at him and said "It's still inexcusable that I acted like that." Thomas glanced at her and said "Just forget about, besides I got more important things to do right now." As he walked up the stairs and into the room the lady followed him in and said "Although it may not be much I'd like to help you." As a book appeared in Thomas's hand he sat down and said "If I don't figure out how to pick locks I might end up in chains tomorrow." The lady turned around and said "On second thought I think I should leave." As she left she mumbled "Could he actually be some sort of criminal?" Thomas began to read the book as he mumbled "I can probably figure out how to deal with them but what did that guy mean when he said temporary leader?" Thomas sighed and laid down as he tossed the book aside and asked "Why do problems follow me everywhere I go." As the lady walked back into the room she stared at Thomas and said "I've decided in order to make up for what I did to you I'll help you, even if you are a criminal!" Thomas stared at her confused and said "Criminal?" The lady nodded and asked "Why else would you be in chains?" Thomas sat up and stared at her as he said "They wouldn't bother using chains on me, they'd have to use talismans or something." The lady sat down in front of him and bowed as she said "Besides the point, I would like to make up for what I've done to you." Thomas stood up and walked towards the window as he said "I don't need your help." As he peered out the window the lady raised her head and said "Maybe you need help from someone I know?" Thomas glanced at her and said "Like I said I don't need your help, or anyone's for that matter." The lady stood up and walked towards the door as she said "If you think of someway I can help I'll be downstairs, my shift is about to start." Once she left Thomas picked up the book he was reading and put it back in the subspace as he said "The best thing to do right now is to save up my mana and prepare to fight." As time progressed like normal Thomas began to adapt to the new two thousand pound talisman and the others decided who to give the fruit to." After they were all done training the lady from the inn ran out to them where Poppy was staying waving a note shouting "Please help me!" As she stood there breathing heavily Thomas snatched the note and asked "What's this?" After staring at the note for a few moments he crumbled it up and tossed it behind him as he said "So they kidnapped your family in order to get us to show." The lady stared at Thomas and nodded as she said "The note was left at the inn, apparently they thought I was gonna help you defeat them." Thomas glanced at Ceil and excitedly asked "Can you remove the talisman now?" Lily grabbed the talisman and tore it off as she said "We'll take it off but don't rush ahead without us." Once the talisman was removed Thomas began to move around and said "I feel a lot lighter." The lady stared at the talisman and asked "What's that?" Ceil set it on the ground and said "It's just a weight talisman, nothing special." Thomas began to stretch as he said "The moment I know where they're hideout is I'm going straight for it." The lady stared at him and said "It was on the back of the note." Thomas picked the note back up and looked on the back of it and mumbled "I'm glad I didn't burn it." Thomas handed the note back to the lady and said "You guys should probably read that over." The lady stared at it and said "It's a formal letter of challenge." Thomas smiled and said "I know, it's gonna be fun." Mira walked towards Thomas and said "Me and Rose have decided that we'll be the distractions and that we'd cause a disturbance outside." Thomas began to run off as he shouted "Sounds great I'll see you there." As he ran off Ocis glanced at Lily and asked "Does he know the plan?" Scarlett walked towards Ocis and said "He probably doesn't have a clue but we should get a move on." Lily sighed and said "Forget the plan, we'll just show up and help him to the best of our abilities." As Thomas entered a building five people with guns aimed at him and said "You really did show." Thomas nodded and said "Hell yeah I did, now where are they?" The men began to laugh as they said "That's quite the bold statement, however you don't stand a chance." Thomas grabbed his sword and unsheathed it as he smiled and said "Ever since I took that talisman off I feel light on my feet, so bring it." The men glanced at each other and nodded as they said "We'll all shoot at the same time." As they pulled the triggers everything appeared to be moving much slower. Thomas stared at the bullet confused and asked "What's going on?" As he turned around he seen the others standing there. Thomas stared at Lily and said "She must've increased my speed so much that everything's slow." Thomas began to walk towards the people and said "Guess I shouldn't let there bullets go to waste." Thomas began to move the people in front of the bullets lining them up so the bullets would hit but not kill them. Thomas began to walk further into the building as he mumbled "Just how much did she increase my speed?" As he entered a room he seen six other people beginning to stand up but got stopped due to Thomas's high speed. Thomas closed the door and said "Sorry wrong room." Thomas yawned as he was walking through the building and asked "Where the hell are they?" As he enter one of the rooms he seen the man from before walking towards the door. The man smiled and said "So you did have a death wish after all." Thomas glanced at him and said "Good you can still move, I need you to tell me where her family is." The man held his hand towards Thomas and said "I'm impressed that you can still move however it's not likely that they'll be set free." Thomas closed the door and said "Fine then stay here and leave me alone." As Thomas began to walk down the hall the man opened the door and said "Wait, I'll tell you where they are if you beat me." Thomas glanced at him and said "You should've just said that from the start." The man began to walk towards him as he smiled and said "You don't normally see ordinary people on this level so it's quite impressive to see a demi human on this level." The man swung at Thomas and said "I'll be sure to kill you quickly." Thomas ducked under his punch and held his hand to his stomach. Thomas glanced up at the man and said "Freeze." As the lower half of the man's body began to freeze Thomas stared at him and said "Okay I win, tell me where they are." The man stood there and said "I'm hardly finished!" As the ice began to rise higher and higher Thomas stared at him and said "By the looks of it you have around three seconds to talk before I choose to freeze you completely." As the ice stopped at the man's neck Thomas stared at him and said "Wanna spill it or be frozen over?" The man sighed and said "Its the furthest door on your left." Thomas smiled and began to walk down the hall as he said "Thanks!" The man smiled and said "I don't see why your thanking me, we're just getting started."
