¬Third Person P.O.V¬
Piper's violet eyes were wide with a flurry of emotions, she felt the chill of the cold night air rush against her skin as she fell, her clothes fluttered violently in the wind, her golden hair trashed around. She had her gaze trained on the boy who she trusted with her heart, the boy who saw something in her that convinced him to teach what he knew the boy who held her so close and made her feel so safe. She could barely see him now, it felt as though time was moving slower but her vision was blurred, try as she might she couldn't even stretch her arm back to him, to let him know she didn't mean to fall.. or did she?
*Zhwm... THCK!*
The distinct sound of cards being smacked against each other echoed throughout the mountainous forest, carrying the echo of the closing portal far and wide. Whatever she wanted to say to Ezra... now? It might too late.
