"How... is this possible?!" Jango looked at the huge sword wound on his chest in disbelief.
Then, his vision darkened and he collapsed onto the deck.
He never imagined that he would be defeated by a seemingly weak girl, and in the blink of an eye.
"Did I succeed?!" Nami saw Jango fall and almost jumped for joy. He wasn't just any pirate; he was the captain of the Black Cat Pirates with a bounty of 9 million berries.
Thinking about how she had just defeated Jango with one blow, Nami couldn't help but feel happy. But at that moment, a shadow appeared behind her.
Nami quickly tried to turn around, but the shadow's attack was already upon her.
"You scoundrel, how dare you injure our captain!" A tall, obese man with a black cat mask clenched his fists and smashed them down towards Nami's head.
It was Buchi, with a bounty of 7 million berries.
"Darn it, it's too late!" Nami tried to move, but she had just used her Thunderbolt Tempo skill and was momentarily distracted after defeating Jango.
Faced with Buchi's attack, Nami couldn't dodge in time.
Suddenly, Rosen appeared beside her.
Bang! Buchi's fist collided with Rosen's raised arm, making a heavy sound.
"Captain Rosen!" Seeing Rosen, Nami breathed a sigh of relief.
"Congratulations, Nami, for defeating Jango, the pirate with a bounty of 9 million berries. But you became careless after defeating him. Sometimes, carelessness can threaten your life, just like Jango lying on the ground over there. Remember to be more cautious in the future," Rosen said.
Jango's strength wasn't weak in the East Blue. Nami was able to defeat him instantly because he underestimated her as a young girl. Rosen didn't want to see Nami end up like Jango due to carelessness.

Angry, they picked up their weapons and rushed towards Rosen and Nami. However, in an instant, Rosen kicked them away one by one.
The other pirates who hadn't approached were stunned by Rosen's terrifying strength and dared not to advance.
"Continue, Nami. Among the Black Cat Pirates, only Jango, Buchi, and Sham are relatively strong. The rest are just weaklings. Jango is down, so next, you should defeat Buchi and Sham. I'll handle the rest," Rosen said, rubbing his neck and walking towards the other pirates still standing.

Indeed, when it came to berries, Nami's expression changed immediately. Without Rosen saying much, she directly grabbed her sword 'Gonryumaru' and rushed towards Buchi and Sham.
Ten minutes later, there was not a single member of the Black Cat Pirates who could stand steadily on the deck.
"Phew... finally, it's over!" Nami sat on the deck, looking at Buchi and Sham lying in a pool of blood, unable to believe that she had defeated them.
Clap! Clap! Clap! Rosen walked over, applauding.
"Congratulations, Nami. With this, you're finally starting to look like a swordsman." Looking at Buchi and Sham lying on the ground, Rosen felt relieved. Although still a bit immature, in a real fight, the Nami in front of him was quite competent.
"Rosen, about what we agreed on. Their bounties should be given to me," Nami made an 'ok' gesture to Rosen, the joy in her heart evident from her smile.
"Seeing as this is your first battle, I'll give you their bounties." Rosen reached out and helped Nami up from the deck, saying, "We're almost at Cocoyashi Village. I'll take you back to rest first. The treasure of the Black Cat Pirates and Jango will be brought aboard the Explorer separately."
Feeling exhausted, Nami didn't refuse. She nodded and obediently let Rosen carry her in a princess hold back to the Explorer.
Leaning against the railing of the exploration ship, Nami stared at her hands tightly. 'How far am I from Arlong now?'
After settling the affairs of the Black Cat Pirates, Rosen continued to sail towards Cocoyashi Village. Several hours later, as dawn approached, at Nami's guidance, the Explorer veered off the usual route and docked on the rear mountains of Cocoyashi Village.
"Well, we'll dock the ship here. The fishmen pirates of the Arlong Pirates won't notice," Nami stood on the shore, hands on hips, confidently saying.
"Captain Rosen, follow me. I'll take you to meet my family. After ensuring their safety, I'll continue to accept your training," she said.
Rosen nodded slightly at her words and followed Nami towards the house where she and Nojiko lived.
