"Sokka, where are you?" Katara asked having returned to the port, "Where has this boy gone?" She stopped to scrutinize.
She saw that Appa was next to the ship but there was no sign of her brother. She was sure that he had gone to explore the island.
"Appa, do you know where he has gone?" The girl asked, looking at the flying bison, which let out a roar.
Katara sighed and sat on a bench, but suddenly she saw a great torrent of light rising in the distance. She had a feeling, 'What if it's Aang?'
_____________
Sokka got on a ship, from the first moment she felt strange vibes, "A skull?" the young man turned with an arched eyebrow.
There were strange items in this place, in fact more than merchants these seemed to be pirates. In fact, the man before him looked like one, "This must be the owner of the ship."
"Are you looking for something specific?" asked the man, who had a parrot on his shoulder. He definitely had to be a pirate.
"You might be interested in this scroll" Sokka took out the scroll with the avatar's history. Anyway, he had already read it completely.
The pirate snorted, crossing his arms with a mocking and superior air, "Boy, I have all the scrolls I should have, I'm not interested."
"Are you not interested in a scroll that explains the entire history of the avatar?" Sokka asked feigning disbelief, "Bah, you're missing out."
Sokka turned around, he knew that the man couldn't resist that, "Wait, boy," with those words he confirmed it, "I'm going to buy it!"
"We'll do something better, you give me one of your scrolls and I'll give you mine" Sokka answered smiling and the man relaxed his posture.
"Okay, whatever you want" said the pirate.
"Although thinking about it, my scroll is worth much more than yours, I will give you mine in exchange for you giving me one and half of the money"
"I think that's fair, don't you?" Sokka asked with a half smile and the pirate clenched his fists.
"Don't be playing around kid!" exclaimed the pirate with annoyance, "Well, I will give you fifty gold pieces and a scroll, another offer I will not listen to."
"Sounds good to me" Sokka gave him a thumbs up and turned to the scroll section, "Perfect, I found it. I'm going to take this scroll, pirate."
The man looked at him through clenched teeth, "Hmpf, here are the coins. Now go."
Sokka took the bag with the coins and the scroll, and left. At the very least, he saved XP and earned several coins. He had won.
"Where were you, Sokka?" Katara asked, approaching her older brother, "I already bought the food, although I couldn't buy more."
"Let's go back for more" Sokka commented smiling. Although he seemed to see something in the surroundings, but he didn't pay much attention.
So they went to the market to get more supplies, Sokka still had the feeling that they were being watched, but when he turned around he didn't see anyone. He had a slight feeling.
"I bought you a gift, by the way, but we will wait for Aang to return" Sokka indicated, causing great anxiety in his sister.
"Gift? What is it?" she asked again and again.
The two arrived back at the ship, when suddenly several men with swords, including the pirate from before, appeared on the ship.
"I already knew you were following me, what I don't understand is why," Sokka declared, looking at them seriously, "You better answer me now."
"If you have such a rare scroll you must have interesting things, so we came to review everything there is" the pirate answered, smiling.
"Go ahead and check the entire ship," Sokka responded with complete confidence. And Katara looked at him.
"Since when do you deal with pirates?" Katara whispered, looking strangely at Sokka. He didn't answer her, since his eyes were fixed on the pirate.
The pirate was extremely surprised to see him so confident, but anyway he ordered his men to check the perimeter of the ship.
Sokka crossed his arms. With inventory in the system, why keep your stuff on the boat? That would be stupid!
"Sir, we haven't seen anything," commented one of the pirates. That made Sokka's smile bigger.
"Hmpf, then we'll keep this ship as a mutiny," the chief pirate commented, unsheathing his greatsword before Sokka.
"Never" Sokka replied pulling out his sword as well. He was not going to lose the ship that he worked so hard to have...
