Rosie had been missing for three days. And the Captain of the Ravens was about to lose his mind. 

The entire headquarters of the mercenaries of Evernight had been tumbled upside down. Each and every soul was frantic at the sudden disappearance of the the runaway noble girl they housed. 

Now, it would not have been a surprise if she had left, deciding she was done putting up with these rowdy housemates. But she had not brought her friend with her, Lirajane—the one she swore she could never live without. Lirajane, who was about to loose her scalp due to her frequent tugging of her short brown hair. She kept murmuring inaudible words to herself, where she seemed to be recounting where and when she went wrong. As if it was her fault that Rosie had disappeared out of the blue.
