Capítulo 30: underneath the underneath
Blood... It brings back memories of the helplessness she felt when she couldn't save the people she loved when she needed them most. Tsunade paralyzed by her fear of blood could only shiver in place. Orochimaru took this opportunity and with the sword of Kusanagi still in his mouth he released it from his arm and directed it to Tsunade's neck. Lunging forward Orochimaru nearly pierced her throat, if it wasn't for Jiraiya who managed to pull her away from death's grasp.
With Tsunade held in his arm Jiraiya retreated to shizune's side "take care of her will you, and while you're at it look if she has some sort of antidote on her... I'll be needing it soon". Jiraiya locked eyes with orochimaru as he bit rus thumb drawing blood. "Jiraiyah take this, I found it in Lady Tsunade's clothes" shizune trew a vial towards Jiraiya but orochimaru was a step faster than Jiraiya. Extending the sword of Kusanagi blade he sliced the glass vial in half.
In an attempt to salvage the antidote Jiraiya dived in and swallowed a few drops mid air while the rest spilt onto the floor. "Damn it that wasn't nearly enough" nevertheless he proceeded with the summoning jutsu and in a cloud of smoke emerged Gama the toad.
Meanwhile kabuto shocked by naruto's tactics awed at the rate of improvement he achieved in such a short timeframe "Heh... Hehehe, so you've been playing idiot this whole time, and to think you even fooled me" reaching into his pocket kabuto pulled out an info card "you should know what this is... It's a card that depicts information about your abilities and lists your achievements. This card describes a weakling, someone that is of no use to anyone" kabuto ripped the card to shreds and tossed it into the wind as he sunk back into the ground "I see now that you're not to be too be underestimated".
Naruto had clones positioned around the area hiding behind rocks formations most of them were nothing but bait while a few set traps. Although Naruto was never proficient in the art of setting traps he easily learned from Ash through their unexplainable bond and Naruto began to understand it's complexities.
One by one the clones were attacked failing to resist an enemy they couldn't even see, the traps had no effect on an enemy lurking in the ground. *Vmmmm* as the clones died Naruto gained an understanding of kabuto's general location by following the pattern of the clones he killed. After estimating where he would be next, Naruto used the
<Multi shadow clone JUTSU> *poof,poof,poof* three clones were launched like missiles headed for kabuto's general position.
Each of the airborne clones prepared to cause as much damage as possible by forming a rasengan in each hand and held it above their heads. Reaching the peak of their trajectory they plummeted straight towards the ground.
Sensing the incoming attack kabuto hastily attempted to leave the ground but it was too little to late, one of the clones landed a direct attack blowing him into pieces of earth and stone. 'A clone!, where is he?...'. It didn't matter where Naruto sent scouts kabuto was nowhere to be seen.
Suddenly a clone dispelled itself. What Naruto saw shocked him "kabuto that bastard" Naruto and his clones rushed to confront kabuto once more. "Attacking Tsunade when she's defenseless you're worse than scum!".
'At the rate I'm going,..... shizune wount be able to hold him back for long I have to get there faster' coming up with a plan Naruto dispelled the rest of his clones and created four more, these clones had an update on naruto's thoughts and understood what needed to happen. Two of the clones together formed a single rasengan, it was unstable and erratic but in its own way controlled, wind surged around it. The other two stood between Naruto and the rasengan "Now!" As they ran Naruto and two clones jumped into the air. The signal set things into motion the rasengan was aimed straight at Naruto.
Without the two clones between him and the rasengan Naruto would have faced the full brunt of the rasengan. The clones and Naruto announced the name of the new technique in unison"Repulsing Rasengan!!". As it hit the two clone shields almost half of the damage was absorbed before they couldn't take any more and dispelled leaving behind a powerful cyclone that launched Naruto like a canon ball straight at kabuto. The wind sliced him like a blender and the impact fractured the bones in his legs but he set aside the pain with one goal in mind.
"Kabuto You coward!!" All eyes were drawn to the sky "Na..Naruto!?" Shizune watched as Naruto flew towards them at a blinding speed. "It seems Lord Jiraiya isn't the perfect teacher we made him out to be, you lack the simple mentality a ninja should posses, you... were never my target!" simply stepping out of naruto's path kabuto also distanced himself from shizune in the prossess.
About to crash into the ground Naruto bit his thumb and performed the <summoning jutsu> *Poof* "already aware of the situation ash jumped into action and grabbed Naruto with his tongue and safely landed with him infront of shizune. Placing him on the ground ash drew his blade and readied himself for battle. "Froo..." Ash ready to charge forward was held back by Naruto. His arm placed on Ash's shoulder "haah.. no, he's too dangerous for you we both know that... Watch my back from behind and protect Lady Tsunade". Hesitant Ash reluctantly stepped back to Tsunade's side. "How can you say that when you're in the worst condition here!?" Shizune stepped infront of naruto to shield him from kabuto.
"Don't look down on me!" steam formed as a result of Naruto's rapidly healing wounds accompanied by a burning hiss. Kabuto witnessing Naruto tapping into the nine tail's Chakra rushed in to finish off Naruto while he remained weakened. Distracted shizune fell victim to kabuto's Chakra scalpel *Vmmm* a cut to her arm and a kick to her gut shizune tumbled back, out of kabuto's way.
*Vmmm*Kabuto takes out a kunai from his ninja pouch and coats it in his Chakra scalpel "That's enough Naruto get out of the way!" Tsunade cried out begging Naruto to move, she couldn't take any more losses in her life. The kunai directed at Naruto's throat kabuto aimed to end his life as efficiently as possible with his knowledge of the human anatomy. Naruto blocked with the palmof his hand. The kunai pierced right through, without wasting a moment Naruto pushed his hand forward shoving the kunai deeper into his palm and grabbed kabuto's hand holding him in place "I refuse to die before I become the Hokage!".
"Let's see you dodge this!" In his free hand Naruto formed the most refined rasengan he's made so far "RAAAASENGAAAN!!!". Plunging it into kabuto's chest a drilling force loostened his grip on the kunai and sent him spiraling out of control smashing through a distant boulder and landing a few meters behind it. Kabuto layed on the ground, wounds and broken bones all over his body but an especially grousome wound laid bare on his chest.
