Capítulo 53: Chapter 53 Back To The Village, The Woman Of The Kakashi Family
Konoha Village
"I'll go report to the Hokage. You three can disband for now."
Kakashi stood at the village gate, carrying a large sword on his back. In his usual lazy tone, he dismissed the team and quickly walked off.
"Sakura, I need to buy some clothes and cosmetics. Could you help me out?"
After Kakashi left, Sako looked conflicted for a moment. He approached Sakura with a bit of embarrassment.
Having gotten a taste of self-improvement, Sako was eager to push himself further.
Sakura, who had been thinking about asking Naruto to dinner, looked at Sako with a strange expression. She glanced at his outfit and couldn't help but feel speechless.
To be honest, Sako's clothes were better than hers at the moment.
Especially the short skirt—Sakura blushed just thinking about wearing it herself. Was he trying to compete with her for the title of Team 7's "flower"?
"Sako, Sakura, I have to head off. See you tomorrow!"
Naruto, oblivious to their private conversation, waved goodbye. He had to go find Danzo; it was nearly time for the last of the Kotoamatsukami!
"Okay, Sako... but I need to head home first to unpack my things," Sakura replied, glancing at Naruto as he left. She reluctantly agreed to Sako's request, their friendship having grown a lot recently.
After all, there had been that incident with Sako in the Land of Waves that still embarrassed her to this day. Sakura had been like a big sister back then, teaching Sako all kinds of important tips for girls.
Afternoon
Bang bang bang.
"Naruto, come out! Kakashi-sensei is treating us to dinner!" Sakura's voice echoed outside.
Naruto, who had been studying the Wood Style scroll he obtained after using a genjutsu on Danzo, was startled by the knock.
"Kakashi-sensei is treating us? What's going on?" Naruto wondered aloud as he put the scroll away and opened the door.
But the next moment, his eyes were drawn to Sakura and Sako.
Sako was wearing a fitted white t-shirt, a blue skirt, and black stockings. Sakura had on a pink top and a short skirt, her hair tied up in twin ponytails.
That wasn't the surprising part though—both of them were wearing makeup!
Naruto blinked, feeling a bit flustered. Should he try to cool things down by pulling Sakura away?
"Naruto, let's go! Don't keep Kakashi-sensei waiting!" Sakura, noticing Naruto's gaze, felt a little pleased and grabbed his arm, pulling him along.
I really should find Tsunade or Kurenai for help... Naruto thought, quickly pushing aside any inappropriate thoughts.
Naruto, flanked by Sakura and Sako, made his way to Kakashi's place, drawing some envious looks along the way.
"A home-cooked meal? This is a bit unexpected..." Naruto said, staring at Kakashi's door in surprise.
"Kakashi-sensei said it's a family dinner. Come on!" Sako explained, stepping up to knock on the door.
Since training with Kakashi, Sako had developed a great deal of respect for him.
"Naruto, Sako, Sakura, come in!" The door opened, and a cheerful voice greeted them. It was Rin Nohara, dressed in casual black home clothes.
Sakura and Sako exchanged confused glances. Who was this woman, and what was she doing at Kakashi-sensei's place?
Wait... Rin Nohara? I've got a bad feeling about this... Naruto thought, his mind racing as he stepped into the house.
Inside, they were greeted by an even stranger sight—Kakashi was cooking in the kitchen!
Not only were Sakura and Sako taken aback, but even Naruto's jaw nearly hit the floor. Kakashi, a domestic guy?
"Ahem... Well, my cooking's not bad, but Kakashi's is much better," Rin said with an awkward laugh, trying to ease the tension. When they used to have meals together, Kakashi had always been the best cook.
Is this how Minato-sensei and Kushina felt back then? Damn it, Kakashi, you should've warned me... Rin thought, laughing nervously as she went to wash some fruit for everyone.
"Hey, Sako, Naruto... you don't think... that woman is Kakashi-sensei's...?" Sakura whispered, eyeing Rin as she washed the fruit.
"Maybe. But I'm more curious about Kakashi-sensei's real face. Do you think we'll see it during dinner?" Sako mused, his eyes narrowing as he watched Kakashi in the kitchen.
"Now that you mention it, I've never seen his real face either... Today might be our chance!" Sakura's eyes lit up again, excitement building as she glanced between Kakashi and Rin, her curiosity growing.
"Ahem... Calm down. Don't make things more awkward," Naruto muttered, trying to keep the two from getting carried away.
Kakashi, Rin Nohara... what are you two up to? Naruto thought silently, watching them both with a mix of suspicion and amusement.
