Capítulo 84: Chapter 6:The Week Before The Storm!

It was the final week of training before the Chunin Exams, and Team 7 was making steady progress. Yuto had improved his chakra flow technique on his sword and could now form a Rasengan with one hand in just five seconds. His mastery of the leaf-cutting exercise was still incomplete, but he knew he will master it soon.

Naruko had mastered integrating Exploding Clones into her Shadow Clone army, creating devastating results in her training sessions. Yuto couldn't help but pity anyone who faced her in battle.

Hitomi had successfully learned the Chidori, though it remained a last-resort technique due to her limited chakra reserves. Kakashi continued to push her to refine her control, balancing precision with power.

As for Kakashi, he had completed the first step of the Hiraishin by crafting the seals with his blood and special ink. However, he was stuck on the second step—sensing the seals from a distance. The challenge frustrated him, but his resolve to carry on his sensei's legacy remained firm.

While Team 7 continued their intense training, events in the other major villages hinted at the excitement brewing for the Chunin Exams.

In the Land of Water, the newly appointed Mizukage, Mei Terumi, affectionately rubbed her cheek against Haku's, much to the latter's embarrassment. Zabuza and two other Genins stood awkwardly behind them, sweat dropping at the overly affectionate display.

"Haku, be safe and protect yourself and your team," Mei cooed, her tone as warm as the smile she wore. Then her expression turned dangerously sweet. "And remember, if Zabuza or anyone else bullies you, come tell your big sister Mei. I'll make sure Zabuza is castrated right away."

Zabuza and the two Genins shuddered violently at the not-so-subtle threat, while Haku cheerfully replied, "Okay, Mizukage-sama!"

Yet, despite her bright smile, Haku's thoughts drifted to a certain green-eyed blonde boy. 'I wonder if I'll see Yuto in the Land of Iron...'

In the Land of Wind, Temari glared at her brother.

"Kankuro, if you use my makeup again, I swear I'll hit you so hard you'll never have kids," she said with menace in her tone.

Kankuro paled, raising his hands defensively. "I didn't touch it this time! I swear!"

As the two bickered, a red-haired boy sat nearby, meditating with eerie calm. The kanji for "love" on his forehead glinted under the sunlight as Gaara whispered to himself, "Mother will have so much delicious blood during the Chunin Exams."

Inside him, a maniacal laugh echoed as the One-Tailed Beast, Shukaku, stirred with excitement. "Oh, yes! Blood! Chaos! Let's show them terror, Gaara!"

In the Land of Earth, Onoki, the Third Tsuchikage, eyed his granddaughter Kurotsuchi with a concerned frown.

"Be careful in the Chunin Exams," he warned. "Our intel suggests Konoha has a new dojutsu user in the Yamanaka clan. We don't know the full extent of its power yet, but if Kakashi Hatake is training him, it's bound to be formidable."

Kurotsuchi smirked at her grandfather. "Don't worry, Gramps. I'll handle it. Just make sure to watch over your aching back and keep the Tsuchikage seat warm for me when I beat you!"

Onoki's face turned red as he yelled, "I'm not that old!" He stood abruptly, only for his back to creak painfully. "MY BACK!" he groaned, clutching it as Kurotsuchi snickered.

In the Land of Lightning, the Raikage, Ay, looked down at a blonde-haired girl with pigtails and glasses. She stood tall, her hand resting on the hilt of the sword at her waist.

"Toka," Ay said, his voice filled with pride. "Make me proud."

Toka nodded, her expression serious. "I will make you proud, Father," she replied firmly, her grip on her sword tightening.

The Raikage's confident grin widened. "Good. Show them what the next generation of the Land of Lightning is made of!"

Each village's preparations carried their own hopes, ambitions, and hidden dangers, all converging toward the Land of Iron, where the Chunin Exams promised to be anything but ordinary.

While the Genin of the five major nations were diligently preparing for the Chunin Exams, the scene shifted to a more ominous location—the Akatsuki hideout. Pain and Konan stood atop the towering Gedo Statue, their presence commanding silence and respect. Below them, on the statue's ten fingers, stood the rest of the Akatsuki: Deidara, Zetsu, Hidan, Sasori, Itachi, Kakuzu, and Kisame.

Pain's Rinnegan eyes scanned his subordinates before he spoke in his deep, resonant voice. "Zetsu, report the information you've gathered."

Zetsu nodded, stepping forward as all eyes turned to him. The air was tense, the anticipation palpable.

"There will be many strong teams participating in the Chunin Exams in the Land of Iron," Zetsu began. "Each of the five major villages is sending teams with high potential, many of which include individuals who have the potential to reach Kage level."

"The Stone is sending two teams. The first features Kurotsuchi, granddaughter of the Third Tsuchikage, and her Sensei is Jounin Han, the Five-Tails Jinchuriki. The second team is led by Jounin Roshi, the Four-Tails Jinchuriki."

"The Mist is also sending two teams. The first is led by one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, Zabuza Momochi. His team includes a Genin from the Yuki clan—the last of her bloodline. The second team is under the guidance of Utakata, the Six-Tails Jinchuriki."

"The Cloud's teams are no less formidable. The first is led by Yugito Nii, the Two-Tails Jinchuriki, and includes the Raikage's daughter. The second team has Killer Bee, the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki, as their Sensei."

"The Sand has chosen to send only one team, but it is significant. It consists of the Kazekage's children, including the One-Tails Jinchuriki, Gaara."

"Konoha has sent two teams. The first is led by Might Guy, whose father was infamous for single-handedly killing four of the Seven Swordsmen during the Third Great Ninja War. The second team is led by Kakashi Hatake. His Genin include Hitomi Uchiha, one of the last remaining members of the Uchiha clan; Naruko Uzumaki, the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki; and Yuto Yamanaka, a prodigy who has awakened a powerful, mutant dojutsu linked to the Senju clan."

The Akatsuki members absorbed the information in silence, processing the sheer magnitude of the potential power gathered in one place. Itachi's gaze flickered briefly when Zetsu mentioned Hitomi Uchiha, though his expression remained stoic.

Deidara broke the silence first. "So, are we planning to attack? Seven Jinchuriki in one spot… seems like an irresistible opportunity, un."

Kakuzu's eyes glinted with malice. "If we do, I want Team Kakashi. Those brats nearly killed me. I owe them their lives."

Itachi didn't respond, but internally, his thoughts darkened. 'Kakuzu better tread carefully. If he even thinks about touching my sister or her team, he won't live to regret it.'

Pain raised a hand, silencing the growing chatter. "Enough," he commanded. "There's another matter Zetsu has brought to my attention. One that changes everything."

The room fell silent again as Zetsu continued, revealing the secret intelligence he had uncovered.

When the Akatsuki heard the details of Orochimaru's audacious plans, a single thought passed through their collective minds: 'Orochimaru really has balls of steel.'

Attempting something so bold in the Land of Iron, with the Five Kages, seven Jinchuriki, and three elite Jounin—nearly S-rank—present was beyond reckless. But it wasn't Orochimaru's audacity that made them uneasy; it was the chaos that would inevitably ensue if his plan succeeded.
