Capítulo 3: House Hatake

I realized something after waking up; the woman who gave birth to me was nowhere to be found. It really doesn't bother me at all.

What surprised me was that there was a man taking care of me next to another baby. I was shocked by what I saw; I managed to recognize him. It was the White Fang of Konoha!

Sakumo was a man with a gentle face, dark eyes with deep lines running beneath them. He had spiky silver hair with bangs that hung over the forehead protector and a ponytail that reached down his mid-back.

He wore the standard Konoha Shinobi uniform.

"Ah... little Eiji woke up? You slept for a long time, unlike your lazy brother," the man spoke softly; he was feeling calm and peaceful.

[Time Release: A Few Months Later - No Jutsu]

I've been in this world for 3 months, and let me tell you, it's a shame having someone wiping your butt! Especially when they make faces during the process!

I always thought Hatake was a single mother since Kakashi Hatake's birth, but it's not true; she was just a woman with a weak body.

She had long black hair down to her waist, a very pretty and delicate face, standing at 1.60 meters tall, she wore casual white clothes and was quite beautiful.

I noticed that she sometimes coughed very frequently, probably already being sick; she shouldn't have much time left... I remember reading somewhere that she died when Kakashi was around 2 years old.

Every day was boring; eating, drinking, sleeping, pooping, and taking baths—nothing much to do. The Hatake family was very calm and peaceful. They rarely left the house. Very homey for my taste.

*Sounds of an emo baby crying like, well... a baby*

"Calm down, little Kakashi, learn from your brother and don't cry too much," the man said calmly while cradling both me and Kakashi.

****************************

I've been in this world for 2 years, and I was impressed by the toys here. Who would give toy shurikens and kunais to kids?

"Oni-chan, let's play ninja," I heard a voice next to me. There was Kakashi Hatake, and everyone would be surprised because he wasn't wearing any mask; he was really cute.

"Okay, okay, how do you want to play? Be the hero or the villain?" I asked with a smile on my face, it was obvious what he would choose; he adored his father from the bottom of his heart.

"I'll be the hero just like Dad, and I'll defeat you, the villain!" Kakashi said with an exaggerated pose, imitating his father with the tantō.

Many might not know, but Kakashi only started getting serious and reserved after his mother died, and the situation only worsened when his father committed suicide.

I wasn't in a hurry to learn chakra; if I were to graduate normally, I would become a Genin much later than the Third Shinobi War. I was sure I would be a genius here anyway.

"Okay, then I'll be the villain. Come on, Konoha's hero."

Sakumo just looked amused at the two kids playing ninja; he wished all children could grow up like this, without worries until they were at least 12 years old.

*************************

Six months passed, and Kakashi's mother died. She had an incurable illness in the current era; the problem was with chakra; there was no cure...

When we turned 3 years old, I noticed Kakashi started becoming a bit quieter than usual, and an antisocial aura began to appear in him.

"It stinks, why are the smells so strong? Father!!!" Kakashi shouted indignantly; he had already noticed this for some time, but his sense of smell started becoming even more sensitive.

Sakumo quickly understood the situation; in some rare cases from his clan, the nose is more sensitive to smells, which can be very irritating. In some cases, it can even be a hindrance instead of a help.

Since then, Kakashi started wearing a mask on his face, and I must say, seeing it in person is something else; he looks very cool and enigmatic...

****************

Approaching our 4th birthday, Sakumo came to pick us up from the playground where several children had gathered to play ninja.

Kakashi, in a monotone voice, vaguely spoke, "Can you teach me how to use chakra? I've been feeling something similar to what you mentioned," he looked expectantly at his father.

"Hmmmmm," Sakumo was amused and worried about his two sons. He noticed their potential, but he was also afraid because of it.

He realized they were geniuses in general; they didn't act like other children and seemed more mature than they should be at their age.

There was also that wretched pedophile organization with its pedophile leader...

'It's better for them to be strong to protect themselves if I failed to, and they end up getting killed because of that. I'd rather not regret it later.'

Sakumo pondered his choices.

He looked at Eiji, who also had high expectations for his response; he was like Kakashi in some ways, but quite different.

Others might not have noticed, but he did. He usually let Kakashi take the initiative to question things, and he would go with the flow, but that didn't seem to be the case now. Maybe...

'He's much smarter than Kakashi.' He had already concluded that a long time ago.

"When you're 4 years old, I'll teach you about chakra, and I'll also teach you the Hatake clan's secret kenjutsu style, which our clan is extremely feared for," Sakumo said, thinking it would be better to train them early. That's what he wanted to believe.

"And can we enroll in the ninja academy?" Eiji asked; he wasn't worried about him not accepting, as he already knew the answer.

"Those two..." Sakumo sighed.

"If you meet my requirements, and I will be very strict, understood?"

"Yes" x2
