Sakura was more guilty than she had ever been because she thought that she may have driven Naruto away from Konoha permanently just because she was a little mad at him for asking for ONE date. Tsunadae looked at Sakura and said "If that's the case... You are no longer needed for this mission, Sakura. Only Kakashi and Sasuke will be assisting in the recovery of Naruto, and your participation in the search is not welcome." Tsunadae explained, displaying a tinge of agitation in her tone of voice.
"B..., but Tsunadae-Sama...., I want to help as well as find Naruto." Sakura raised an objection, and there was a trace of melancholy in her tone as she said, "Your presence will only make the poor brat more upset." Tsunadae said "But-." Sakura was about to raise an objection when Kakashi interrupted her "Tsunadae- Sakura, Sama makes an excellent point; your presence will only make Naruto's predicament even more dire." According to Kakashi, Sakura was embarrassed and looked down at the ground.
"I have a question? How did Naruto get his entire body covered in red Chakra? But why exactly is he referred to as a demon? And what are the reasons that the villagers are relieved that he has left?" Tsunadae was taken aback and distressed by Sasuke's questions. Everything that Naruto has just said will make Sasuke scratch his head now that he is aware of Naruto's red Chakra. Even though Naruto claimed that these Genins were his friends for a while, it's about time to reveal the truth about Naruto and how other people in the village have treated him. "*Sigh* Well, I guess It's About Time." Tsunadae sighed
Iruka, Jiraya, and the other Sensies on the team understood what Tsunadae meant when she said, "It's about time," but the Rookies had no idea what she was talking about. In the past, they would have argued with Tsunadae if she tried to tell the truth about something, but after seeing how close everyone became to Naruto, they decided that now would be the best time to disclose Naruto's hidden ability.
"Sakura. My recommendation is that you wait outside." When Kakashi looked down at his student with the pink hair, he gave the order.
"No Kakashi! It is essential for her to be aware of the facts." Tsunadae said, and Kakashi nodded; Sakura's expression changed from one of understanding to one of perplexity.
"Before we get to the truth..., had any of you heard of the law that the third had created and was calling "The third's law"?" Tsunadae Asked
The freshmen exchanged perplexed glances with one another as they learned the ropes.
"No, we weren't aware that there was something called third's law. We were completely unaware of it up until that point." Shikamaru made a statement and provided a response.
Tsunadae layed her elbows on the table and put her hands together in a ball in front of her mouth, "Well. However, your parents were aware of it all along. It was a law that could not be broken under any circumstances, as the penalty for doing so was death. Sarutobi-Sensei was aware that it was a severe punishment, but she understood that it was necessary for the sake of Naruto's protection." Tsunadae Explained "protection for Naruto. Does this imply that Naruto comes from a noble family or something along those lines? Something comparable to what I've just seen in our practise match, perhaps?" Sasuke Asked with a look of bewilderment on his face
Tsunadae gave Sasuke a look and said, "Something similar to that, Sasuke, something similar to that." Tsunadae shifted her perspective, making her more sympathetic to the other rookies. "This law was enacted by the third to ensure that subsequent generations of Konoha citizens would not think of Naruto as a "Demon." Because..., a very long time ago, the nine tails launched an attack, and you were told that the fourth of them was responsible for his death. However, the reality is that he did not pass away; no one, not even the fourth, was able to vanquish him." Tsunadae explained, while the rookies looked at him with confused looks and said, "The beast was restrained rather than put to death. It was the only way to guarantee that the leaf would not be damaged. The beast, however, was contained within a brand new baby at the time, a baby boy who was born on October 10th, thirteen years ago." Tsunadae continued, and everyone was perplexed but trying to figure out what Tsunadae could mean. "That boy the Kyuubi was sealed in..., was Naruto," Tsunadae said. Tsunadae has come to an end.
The room went silent as the rookies' faces changed from confusion to shock as they realised that they had never known of the Thirds law, that they had been lied to by their parents and the leaf that the Kyuubi was dead, and that they had never known that Naruto had the exact same beast that had attempted to destroy the village and killed lots of innocent Shinobi and people in Konoha.
Are you saying that Naruto is the Jinchuriki for the nine? "Are you saying that?" Shikamaru questioned, his eyes widening as he realised the truth "....." Tsunadae did not respond, but rather she just nodded her head.
Because of this, the villagers in the village mistreat Naruto and call him a demon. People mistook him for the Kyuubi rather than a jailer or a boy of his age who was working towards his goal of becoming Hokage. He was only thirteen years old at the time.
They believed that Naruto's dream of becoming Hokage was nothing more than a childish fantasy at the time, but now that dream has taken on a significance that is immeasurably greater for him. This is why he said he wanted to become Hokage. It's the dream that's going to turn everyone in the village's opinion of him around, and instead of seeing him as the evil spirit, they're going to look up to him as a genuine hero.
Hinata was guilty because she loves Naruto but didn't help him because she was under her father's instructions to stay away from him at all costs. Sakura is the one who is feeling guilty the most that she has been mistreating Naruto even after they graduated from the Academy. The group was feeling guilty because they too had mistreated Naruto in the past.
