Capítulo 43: The Land of Hot Springs! Part-2
{Kōke Town, Land of Fire}
{00:45 AM, 31 March 78 Yrs}
Hiroshi was currently hiding in one of the trees just at the edge of the border biding his time, there were several reasons he chose to flee to The Land of Hot Springs. The simplest explanation was that the shinobi village that was situated in The Land of Hot Springs was Yagakure, the Village Hidden in Hot Water, or more jokingly known as Nurumayugakure, Village Hidden in Warm Water. After decades of providing clients with combat-related services, Yagakure decided one day that they didn't want to fight in the Shinobi World Wars anymore. They stopped taking hostile missions and rebranded themselves as the 'village that has forgotten wars'.
Nowadays their shinobi just make sure that the merchants traveling through the Land of Hot Springs don't get harassed by bandits. The other reason Hiroshi went towards The Land of Hotsprings is that the border between Land of Fire and Land of Hot Springs had the least amount of patrols scheduled and as he had taken a mission to patrol this place once last year, he was familiar with the basic protocols. Kōke Town was the last patrol checkpoint and the only place where at least one sensor shinobi resides. Now normally whoever was in charge of this area has their own patrol timings, but since Hiroshi knew that there was a shortage of shinobi in this region, the most important point was to just sneak past one team since the patrol won't pass through the same region for hours.
Hiroshi looked to his left, it's been 10 minutes since the last team left the area, 10 km to the north is the official border of the Land of Hot Springs, Hiroshi jumped from the tree and dashed towards the border. He could have gone through the proper channels since his identity was rock solid right now, but his chakra capacity was a problem, a civilian with almost as much chakra as a chunin was a quick way to get caught. He wasn't sure that there would be a sensor at the outpost so he had a simple plan.
He knew of a place forbidden for the Yagakure shinobi, The Valley of Hell, a place where the Chinoike Clan were exiled after they were driven out from the Land of Lightning by the Uchiha clan. One of the few clans to have a Dojutsu, maybe they were even a distant branch of the Uchiha clan considering their somewhat similar abilities. The Chinoike Clan died due to infighting with only En Oyashiro and his daughter Shino surviving, Hidan found the Valley of Hell and reported that matter to Yugakure, A squad of shinobi traveled there and confirmed that there was nobody still alive in the valley. After that, they once again declared the valley to be off-limits and officially ruled the Chinoike to be extinct.
He didn't know exactly where the valley was, but it wasn't that hard to figure it out, Hidan found out about the rumors regarding the Valley of Hell, that there were demons who live there who drink blood, he was curious as he was still a kid and went there out of curiosity, which eliminates a large part of the Land of Hot Springs, the valley should be closer to Yugakure since a young Hidan was able to go there during his childhood before he was all immortal and shit.
Another clue that he had was the fact that it was fucking named the Valley of Hell, so Hiroshi only had to get a map from the nearby town of the Land of Hot Springs and search through all the Vallies around Yugakure. It wouldn't be a hard ask and if nothing else works, he had a simulation system that is built for these kinds of tasks.
'Realistically how hard could it be?' Hiroshi thought as he passed the border and headed towards the town that he remembered visiting when he was posted for three months on this border.

{Valley of Hell, Land of Hot Springs}
{06:11 PM, 5 April 78 Yrs}
So it wasn't as easy as Hiroshi had predicted but he still managed to guess correctly after just 14 wrong guesses... Okay so the Valley was a little bit further than Yugakure so that was the reason it took him a little time, he went to the closer valley first which led to him wasting a lot of time.
'Still, I didn't waste that much time so it should still be okay.'
The Chinoike Clan was able to survive on the wildlife of the valley for a long while so he wasn't worried about the food, the only problem would be if the Yugakure shinobi didn't clean the bodies of the clan's fallen members. Hiroshi looked down from the cliff into a small hole, he could see the blood-red pond, in the anime it was said that the water was blood red because of iron and some other minerals mixing in with the water, having read chemistry Hirsohi wasn't at all keen on drinking water contaminated by minerals, but he could easily heat some water then collect the vapors for his drinking purposes.
He jumped down, collecting chakra at the sole of his feet allowing him to stand on top of the pond, his feet wobbled as he looked down at the pond with a frown on his face, he increased the chakra and slowly stabilized himself before hopping out of the pond. The land was barren, a thick fog filled the air as Hiroshi walked deeper into the valley, after a quick survey Hiroshi didn't find any corpses, the ground was hard there were no plants or vegetation around but he could of course go out of valley if push comes to shove.
After a quick survey, Hiroshi found the place that the Chinoike Clan must have occupied, it was almost half a km away from the cliff into the cave, if no one ventures this deep no one would know if someone was living there, there was a small stream of hot red-red water flowing through one side of the clearing, there were several tents set up across the area but most of them were damaged, Hiroshi could see some splotches of blood on most of them so he quickly found the cleanest one before he started cleaning off the rest.
As Hiroshi started cleaning and cataloging whatever usable he could find, his thoughts wandered towards what was next. This was all he had planned since the moment Danzo appeared at the Training ground that day, sure the plan went through many iterations, but now that he had secured a hideout, he needed the plan to survive the storm that was coming.
Konoha Crush was removed from immediate concerns, to be honest, he was currently in an isolated environment, the next problem he would face would be the end of the fucking world if he didn't change anything in the timeline. His immediate concern though would be the next simulation, it's not that far away, running away from Konoha and then finding his new hideout took a lot of time.
Right now he just had a week to prepare, and he had no idea what kind of challenge he could face now that he was outside of his comfort zone, most of the initial story happened in Konoha, and there were no mentions of any important incidents that happened in or around Yugakure.
'The only thing where Yugakure was mentioned in the anime was that it was Hidan's original home, I don't know when Hidan actually goes on the rampage... but when he does he could go to the Valley of Hell if he remembers this place, plus the cult Jashin should also be operating around Yugakure.'
Hiroshi looked around at the now empty clearing, only one tent remained along with the leftover coal from where the standard bonfire/fireplace was, there were some utensils that Hiroshi could use, but most likely he would have to venture out again to gather more resources.
'This should do for now...' Hiroshi thought, he then pulled the scroll he had hidden before coming here, there were some shurikens, a dozen kunai, a pair of chakra weights, a lot of scrolls and ink for fuinjutsu, his old trenchcoat, a pair of pants, and a couple of protein bars that could serve as an emergency ration.
'I need to get more clothes and maybe some basic necessities...'

AN- Answering some questions from the last chapter, to be labeled as a jounin he would have at least the strength to fight an average newly promoted Jounin.
If his strength drops to 0 because of some shit happening then the max cooldown for academy student level strength is 5 days.
P.S- I took a little break from writing so I'm fresh and ready to go, I have a new arc planned that should focus mainly on Fuinjutsu and it took a little time to figure out Hiroshi's perfect growth path
