This boy could make us strong. Under my training, he'd become unstoppable.
"The boy needs love. Only love and friendship will help him control the beast," Hiruzen continued, recalling the teachings of Mito Uzumaki.
Mito had believed love was essential in controlling the Nine-Tails.
"You're getting soft in your old age, Hiruzen," Danzo scoffed.
To Danzo, Hiruzen's kindness was a weakness that could harm the village. "Kindness will be our downfall."
"The boy will be treated like any other child and trained like a Leaf shinobi," Hiruzen declared firmly.
He left no room for debate."But..." Danzo started, his ambition pushing him to argue.
"The discussion is over, Danzo," Hiruzen said firmly. He ended the debate with a final tone. The room fell silent again, filled with the weight of Hiruzen's decision.The clan leaders exchanged looks, some agreeing reluctantly.
They knew Hiruzen's decision was best, despite Danzo's more aggressive stance.
