Capítulo 36: No more kisses ...
Sebastian eats his last piece of pie put on his plate and looks at Lily. The woman is still red and she still munches on the little piece of pie she took a few minutes ago.
"You should eat more." The man frowns. His eyes observe the girl who flinches under his gaze.
"Yes, Lord …" Her voice is interrupted by her fear intensifying. Her eyes glance at the man who watches her absently.
"Your body is so thin, Lily …." He continues his observations as he inspects Lily." Should I give you some blood?" He smirks.
Sometimes he offered the the women his blood. She was having some sort of weakness since he bit her. Her blood was too weak to combine with his, so when his blood diminishes in her body she starts to feel weak. Loss of weight was one of the symptoms Sebastian knew.
"Like I want that …." Lily bit her lips, however, his words sparked inside of her a fire. Her hunger is lit and she stares at his neck.
"I see you don't want it." Sebastian frowns but a short laugh follows. "Are you sure?" His smirk appears.
In this situation, he didn't want to scare Lily more by his cold remarks. He had to pursue her for her fear to reduce. He knows that the girl needs his blood as soon as possible.
Looking at her, Sebastian realizes that the girl will never ask for his blood even if she were to be a skeleton. Look at her thin wrists! The man sighs.
Lily doesn't seem to know what to do. The urge inside her is telling her to bite him, but her fear of angering him pulls her back, glued to her seat.
She raises her head when Sebastian stands up and stretches his hand to help her stand up.
"I see I have to take care of you myself. Stand up! "The man is grabbing her by the waist and lifts her, making her sit on the table. He takes off his necktie with one hand and glances at the girl.
Lily is swallowing dry. Her eyes are on the neck he just revealed. However, she keeps her hands gathered at her chest, as if to make sure she won't grab the man and bite him right here and then.
Sebastian smirks and takes her hands, placing them on his shoulders.
"Don't waste time …You have five minutes to drink your fill. "His whisper hits her ear and she can't keep her composure anymore. Her teeth sink into his neck, blood lingering down.
Sebastian lets out a short moan when her teeth pierce his skin. He feels his blood drawn out, but he ignores it as his hands feel her back.
The shampoo she was using hooks his nose as he licks her neck, feeling an urge to bite her. But not because he needed her blood. That wasn't his intention.
Giving up at the neck that tantalizes him, he presses small kisses along her shoulders. Lily shudders as she moans.
She pulls back and gazes at the neck she messed up. The two small holes are closing as his skin regenerates faster than any vampire. However, his neck has some traces of blood. She licks him clean while she feels Sebastian's hands pulling her closer, his hands placed on her hips.
Sebastian flinches when he realizes what he was doing. With a frown, he swears at himself in thought. Lily finishes cleaning him up and feels the distance he puts between them invisibly. His frown made her look down.
"Thank you, Lord …." Her voice resonated in the silent kitchen.
Sebastian raises her face, his hand supporting her chin. With a lick, he cleans her lips which had some blood on them. After kissing her shortly, he inspected her face which was red like a tomato.
"Are you fine, Lily? You are burning." His hand is placed on her forehead. She frowns as he sees his subtle smirk.
"I am fine …. let me down." Lily wants to push him away but he grabs her hands in his.
"Shouldn't you get used to this? Take it as mandatory." His eyes gaze at her as his voice lowers.
She feels her heart beat fast and something makes her angry inside …" Was it mandatory to kiss me ?" Her voice rises and he is stunned. This was the first time she was opposing without mumbling.
Lily feels tears forming but she bites her lips trying to hold them in.
Sebastian is looking at her and realizes that he should back up. It was his fault for being in this situation. But he had his reasons.
A short laugh is let out, bitter as it sounded. Sebastian pulls her in a kiss as if it was their last. He devores her and backs up taking his tie from the table. After arranging himself he glances at her.
"I will not kiss you again, Lily." His raspy voice makes the woman feel her heart rip in shatters. Why was she feeling like this though? Shouldn't she feel relieved?
Lily just watched him leave the kitchen; she wasn't able to say a word. If she talked, she would just be a mess. Her thoughts weren't even aligned in her head, questions were swirling in her brain.
Without her approval tears fall on her cheeks.
"What's wrong with me?" She mumbles as she gets off the table.
Sebastian is outside, his eyes look at the window from the kitchen. He sees Lily cry as she wipes her tears.
"Damn …." The man leaves with a snap.
His thoughts are eating him alive. Wasn't he the one who was so twisted though? The blood rises in his voice as he is teleporting to the first house 'Nyx', the blood, chose.
//Master, aren't you more complicated than a woman? //
Sebastian frowns as the darkness is everywhere, he sits on a chair." You think?"
//Hmmm…. maybe you should rethink your decisions, master. //
"Maybe you are right …." Sebastian sighs and closes his eyes.
Lily was one of the few people who would say that he was a good person. It was as if she didn't see his dark side. Even though she saw how his husband was killed in front of her by his hand. She was a twisted person too, in his eyes. But maybe that's why he felt comfortable with her.
For now, Sebastian decides that visiting her will be prohibited. It was better for both of them.
His thoughts shift to the voice calling him.
//Master, we arrived. //
Opening his eyes, he stands up and the teleportation fades, his feet touching the ground.
He stands in front of the mansion. The name of the owner is written on the gate.
"Vector Britts …." Sebastian reads the name. The man was one of the Circle's main sheep. Meaning he was the one leading other vampires, in Sebastian's absence. The other lords didn't fear him like they feared Sebastian, so Lord Vector was perfect as the Great leader of the Circle for them.
Sebastian knows the hate Vector feels for him, but the man is too diplomatic and meek to confront him.
The man indeed had a son and a daughter, maybe he feared that Sebastian would kill them since they were humans.
With large steps given his stature, Sebastian strides towards the door of the mansion.
The wife, Anna, opens the door and she gasps." Lord Sebastian …my dear didn't tell me you would visit us. Come inside …"
She was a human, a good woman, who was exactly the opposite of the greedy Vector. Maybe that's why they say opposites attract ….
Sebastian mentions his stern face as he strolls to the living room. He finds a leather chair and sits on it.
As the woman announced to him that she would be coming with some tea and cookies, she told him to find a place to sit in the living room. That's what he did …..
The woman comes with a cup of tea and some cookies. Her smile is fading when she sees where the man is sitting. The living room was having one chair and a longer couch while a table was in front of them. Usually, no one would sit on the chair since it was Vector's sit.
"Oh my …Nice of you to visit us. "She puts the things on the table. Sebastian is following her with his eyes.
"Serve …Would you like some water, maybe?" Anna is fidgety not knowing what to do to please her guest.
"No, thank you …. I ate. Where is Vector?" His voice thunders as his eyes stare at the women.
Anna is looking at her clock and then at the man. "I sent him to shop for dinner …He should be back soon. Would you like to eat dinner with us?" The woman smiles and sits on the couch.
"I have to do some other visits later, but thanks for the invitation." Sebastian refrains from ruining the good mood of the woman, who was smiling so brightly. Who was he to ruin Anna's mood?
He knows her too well. She was saved by him from an orphanage when vampires almost killed all the kids there. When he presented her to the Circle they wanted to kill her, however, he didn't want to do that, good thing Vector seemed to take a licking to her, so the man took her.
Anna was eternally grateful to him for that.
"There he is! "She jumps, going towards the door. At her 30 years old she acted pretty innocently and full of energy.
Vector strides inside as he grabs Anna to kiss her, but stops. In front of him is Sebastian smirking, sitting on his leather chair.
Anna goes into the kitchen as she senses the tension between the two men.
