The cold breeze coming from outside blew on Larkin's face as he stood in the balcony instead of sitting at the table overviewing the scenery. The archduchy was yet to rise, and yet the archduke was already wide awake. His gaze was far and unfocused as if he was thinking profoundly about something else. However, he kept on drinking wine as if it was enough to drown out the thoughts in his head.

As if feeling the aura coming from Larkin, Artie groggily rose from the bed and stretched as if it could help with her sleepiness. When she pulled back the bed's curtain, the cold winds assaulted her unguarded skin. She shivered loudly and went to hug the curtain to keep herself protected. When she took a look at the wide window, she could see the back view of the archduke. He even seemed to be rather cold and desolate like an old mountain.
