Capítulo 60: Grace informs Mason about the marriage deal

Mason came home several hours later that day. Grace was still sitting on the couch in the same position while staring blanking at the illuminating chandelier. The TV screen was playing some random early morning news but she was inattentive to it and her concentration was elsewhere. 

He glanced at her once and then he decided to avoid her for now. He didn't know how to explain the current circumstances of both their daughters.

He walked near the stairs without making any noise but just before he could climb, Grace woke up from her trance. 

She turned around and looked at him with blank eyes as if she couldn't recognize who he was. 

"Grace..." He said.

She woke up from her weird dream and then she sneered at him when she realized that he was actually ignoring her presence.

"We need to talk. Come and sit here," She uttered in a neutral tone and showed the single-seater in front of her.
