Theodore had experienced the greatest pain imaginable—not once, but twice in a short period of time.
First, he saw his younger son die, covered in blood. Then, his eldest son was sent to prison. The pain was unbearable, and his hatred for Jack grew stronger by the day.
Sitting in his car, Theodore stared at the Hiran Family Manor, cigarette in hand. His face was grim, his eyes filled with cold determination. Lost in his thoughts, he didn't even notice the cigarette burning his finger until a blister formed. Shaking his head, he put it out and muttered, "Don't worry, my sons. I'll avenge you both."
With a deep breath, Theodore pushed open the car door and headed toward the manor. The bodyguards recognized him and allowed him in without trouble.
Before long, he was ushered into the study to meet Wu, the second master and head of the Hiran family.
"Please, sit," Wu said calmly, gesturing to a chair.
