Jack left Noble Collection's, his mind filled with thoughts of the next steps he needed to take. He had no choice but to get serious about this antique business. As he and DL walked down the street, he glanced at her, hoping she'd come through.
"So, you think you can find someone who deals with antiques from other cultures?" Jack asked, his tone serious.
DL stopped mid-step, tilting her head as she thought. "Well, it's not something you find every day, but I've got some leads. Are you sure this is what you want to do, though? This is some serious stuff. No more messing around."
Jack nodded, his expression firm. "I have to. I can't take any more chances with Patrick or the Bean family. If I don't build something strong—connections, capital, and business—I'll never be safe."
