He watches you as you fall down back into your seat. It is clear to him that you did not enjoy this encounter one bit. But if he had to be truthful he did not enjoy it either. He did not expect your ex to be so arrogant and he has the nerve to come and hug you in front of your boyfriend. It is clear to Nick that John is used to getting all the attention. Of course, he would have given John the exact attention that he might need.

But his concern is not for John at this moment. He looks at you and it is clear that you feel defeated. There is not a lot of things in his life that he needs to do but ever since you come into his life he has one need and that need will be fulfilled. That need is to make you happy all the time because that is what you do for him.

"Kim, why don't you come and sit here next to me, please?"
