Capítulo 195: Noises among the trees - Part 3

The scream was loud, loud enough for both me and Andrew to immediately rush outside the room. I'm worried that my fear has come much sooner than I'd expected. 

We ran outside and followed the source of the scream, only to realize that it came from the woods. Stepping outside the building, I saw how the sky had turned orange and how the wind was cool against my skin. It is evening now, close to the time of dinner when I would eat Bob's best delicacy. But not before this. 

Obviously, Andrew reached the sound much faster than me. His speed was undeniably faster than that of a normal human. I followed behind, finding Andrew calming a young girl by the time I arrived. 

"What happened?" I asked, a little out of breath. 

The young girl was dressed in a trouser and her hair tied into two messy braids, her face dirtied with grime. One glance, and you could tell that she was the gardener's daughter.
