Once she had a moment to relax and get the energy of the fae realm out of her system, the only thing she wanted to do was soak in the bath and then sleep for several days.

Or years.

Years sounded better.

Just sleep forever.

Emily curled up in bed and wrapped her arms around Mia as she slept, her forehead resting on the fae cat's neck.

Surprisingly, the fae was quiet for the most part.

She must have been exhausted, too.

In the morning, she woke to her familiar grooming her hair.

The pink fae looked both sleepy and annoyed as she busied her paws with trying to make her human's hair lay flat.

Reasonably certain Mia's aim was to make Emily's hair more comfortable to sleep on.

She felt too groggy and out of it to try and fight the kitten at the moment.
