Capítulo 1: Volume 1: Chapter 1: Daniel Rose
A YOUNG sixteen year old black hair teenager with red eyes was with his younger sister at 'From Dusk Till Dawn'. Who has black hair like her brother except it had red tips at the end and silver eyes.
Ruby: "Ooh! Can't wait to see the weapon magazines!"
Daniel: "I can't wait to find a magazine about famous huntresses and huntsmen!"
But outside of the store, a man in a white suit and a bowler hat, named Roman Torchwick was walking to the store. Behind him were four of his goons entered the shop.
The old man who was cleaning the reception counter looked up to see Roman Torchwick and his goons.
Roman: "Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late at night?"
One of the goons held up a pistol to the receptionist who raised his hands up in fear.
Old Man: "P-please! Just take my lien and leave!"
Roman: "Shhh, calm down we're not here for your money." (Looks at the goons next to him) "Grab the dust."
All the other goons looked at the dust machines nearby and started to fill them with small circular containers. One of the goons grabbed a case and opened it.
Goon 1: "Crystals. Burn, uncut."
The old receptionist then started to hand him the crystals scared for his life.
One of the goons then walked over to one of the other machines and he heard music and turned to see Ruby and Daniel.
The goon pulled his sword and said.
Goon: "Alright kids, hands where I can see them."
When he heard no response he said.
Goon: "Hey, I said hands in the air!"
When he heard no response again he walked over to them saying.
Goon: "You got a death wish or something?!"
He grabbed Ruby's shoulder and looked at him confused. Daniel looked at Ruby, which gave him a confused shrug.
Daniel: "Yes?"
Goon: "I said, put your hands in the air, now!"
Ruby: "Are you... robbing us?"
Goon: "Yes!"
The goon sees Daniel having green electricity around him.
Daniel punches the goon in the face by OFA in his fist. The goon was then sent to the window of the store, scaring the people that are close by to the store.
Roman Torchwick tilted his head at the one of the goons to stop Ruby and Daniel, but met the same fate by Ruby.
Daniel and Ruby were outside the store getting ready for battle. Ruby got out her scythe that she named as Crescent Rose. Daniel got his semblance ready to attack just in case.
Roman Torchwick: "Okay... get them!"
Four goons went outside to attack Ruby and Daniel.
One of the goons tried to slice Ruby but she dodged the attack by using her scythe for support as she flipped over it then came around and side kicked one of the two goons in the face sending him flying. Ruby then jumped in the air pulling out her scythe from the ground and swing it around three times before hitting her last goon in the air before hitting the ground.
Daniel sees two goons going at him at the same time. He uses full cowling by 5% to kick one in the face before back flipping in the air then roundhouse kicked the other goon.
Roman Torchwick: "You were worth of every cent. Truly you both were."
Roman looks at Daniel and Ruby and starts to walk forward and then says.
Roman Torchwick: "Well Red and Green, I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening."
Roman then drops his cigar and smashes it with the bottom of his cane.
Roman Torchwick: "And as much as I'd love to stick around..."
Roman then aimed the bottom of his cane at Ruby and Daniel.
Roman Torchwick: "I'm afraid this is where we part ways."
The bottom of Roman's cane opened. It hit the ground five feet away from Ruby and Daniel.
Daniel grabs Ruby in bridal style and launch up in the sky before coming back to the ground. But Roman was gone. Daniel and Ruby looks at the latter close to the rooftop there was Roman.
Daniel looks at the receptionist who is close to the broken window.
Daniel: "Are you okay for us to go after him?"
The old receptionist nods his head.
Daniel and Ruby both started running towards to the rooftop.
Roman flipped onto the roof of the building and started running.
Daniel and Ruby: "Hey!"
Roman started to curse in his breath. He looks at Ruby and Daniel with anger.
A ship then comes up to pick up Roman reveals itself.
Daniel looks at Roman with determination to take him to jail. Ruby's eyes widened in surprise.
Roman jumps into the ship and turns around and says.
Roman Torchwick: "End of the line, Green and Red!"
Roman throws a fire dust at Ruby's feet. Daniel sees this and runs to Ruby grabbing her out of the way after Roman fires the red dust from his cane.
A blonde woman comes out of nowhere and blocks the attack.
Daniel runs to the blonde woman with Ruby behind him.
Roman goes to the driver's side of the ship and says.
Roman Torchwick: "We got a huntress!"
A woman who is wearing a red dress looks at Daniel, Ruby, and the unknown blonde.
Daniel: One For All 5% Detroit Smash!!
Daniel then releases his thumb and middle finger position. The gust of wind hits the ship making the woman in red to get inside the ship. The ship flew off, leaving Daniel and Ruby to the mysterious blonde woman.
Ruby and Daniel: "You're a Huntress!"
Daniel: "What'syoursemblance?What'syour fightingstyle?MumbleMumbleMumble..."
Ruby: "Stop nerding out!"
Daniel gives Ruby a sheepish smile and looks at the blonde woman who looks at them in disappointment.
They were sent to a room for questioning. Daniel is sweating and nervous while Ruby has a sad face on.
The blonde huntress started pacing around with a tablet in her hands and she says.
Blonde Woman: "I hope you both realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, young man and lady. You put yourselves and others in great danger."
Ruby looks at the woman in a slight hurt expression and says.
Ruby: "But, they started it!"
The woman looks at Ruby and Daniel and says.
Blonde Woman: "If it were up to me, you both would be sent home with a pat on the back..."
The woman looks at the relief face on Daniel's face and Ruby's happy face.
Blonde Woman: "And a slap on the wrist."
The woman hits the table with her wand and Ruby and Daniel with a scared expression.
Blonde Woman: "But... there is someone here who wants to meet you both."
A mysterious man with grey hair and strange glasses with black and green clothes walks in with a plate of cookies and a hot mug of coffee.
Man: "Ruby Rose... Daniel Rose..."
Daniel and Ruby look at each other with confused expressions.
Man: "You have silver eyes... you have red eyes."
Daniel and Ruby: "Um..."
The mysterious man stands up and says.
Man: "So! Where did you guys learn to do this?"
Ruby: "S-Signal Academy."
Daniel nods at this answer.
Man: "They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?"
Ruby looks at Daniel who looks at her in a reassuring nod.
Ruby: "Well, one teacher in particular."
Man: "I see..."
Ruby sees the cookies and asks Daniel if he wants any. Daniel replies with a no. So, Ruby eats all the cookies one after another.
Man: "It's just I've only seen one scythe-wielder of that skill before. A dusty, old crow."
Daniel: "That's our uncle Qrow!"
Ruby: "He's a teacher at Signal! I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing. And now I'm all like- Hooowaaah Witchaaaa!"
Daniel starts chuckling at his younger sister's antics.
Man: "So I've noticed...what about you young man. How did you do that?"
The man gestures to the screen of Daniel using his semblance.
Daniel: "I got help from a huntsman named Gran Torino."
Man: "I see..."
Daniel looks at the mysterious man anxiously.
Man: "And what adorable kids like you both such as yourselves doing at a school designed to train warriors?"
Ruby: "Well... we want to be huntsman and huntress."
Man: "You want to slay monsters?"
Ruby:"Yeah! I only have two more years of training left at Signal while my older brother has one more year left. You see, our older sister is starting there this year, and she's trying to become a huntress, and me and Daniel are trying to become huntsman and huntress as well cause I wanna help people. Our parents always taught us to help others, so I thought, 'Hey, I might as well make a career out of it!' I mean the police are alright, but Huntsman and Huntresses are so much more romantic and exciting and really, gosh, you know!"
Man: "What about you young man?"
Daniel: "I want to become a huntsman because I want to save people with a smile on my face and show them a better future for Remnant. I want to protect my love ones."
Man: "...Do you know who I am?"
Daniel: "You're Professor Ozpin. You're the headmaster of Beacon."
Ozpin: "Hello."
Ruby and Daniel: "Nice to meet you."
Ozpin: "You want to come to my school?"
Ruby: "Yes, more than anything!
Ozpin looks at the blonde woman only to see her roll her eyes at him.
Ozpin: "Well okay."
Daniel and Ruby look at each other with happy smiles on their faces.
After a week has gone by Daniel and Ruby are right now with their older half sister named Yang Xiao Long in an airship towards Beacon Academy.
Yang: "Oh, I can't believe my baby brother and sister are going to Beacon with me! This is the best day ever!"
Yang hugs Daniel and Ruby tight causing them not to breathe.
Ruby: "Please stop."
Yang lets go of Ruby and Daniel which lets them breathe.
Yang: "But I'm so proud of you guys!"
Ruby: "Really sis, it's nothing."
Yang threw her hands up in the air and said.
Yang: "What do you mean? It was incredible! Everyone at Beacon is going to think you guys will be the bees knees!"
Daniel: "We don't want to be the "Bees knees", okay? We don't wanna be any kind of knees! We just want to be normal kids with normal knees."
Yang: "What's with you guys? Aren't you excited?"
Ruby: "Of course we're excited...I just...I got moved two years ahead while Daniel moved a year ahead. I don't want people to think we're special or anything."
Yang walks around and wraps her arms around Daniel and Ruby's shoulder.
Yang: "But you both are special."
A TV was going with a female reporter on the screen saying.
Reporter 1: "The robbery was led by nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick, who continues to evade authorities. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the Vale Police Department. Back to you Lisa."
The camera cuts off to Lisa.
Lisa: "Thank you, Cyril. In other news, this Saturday's Faunus Civil Right protest turned dark when members of the White Fang disrupted the ceremony. The once peaceful organization has now disrupted..."
The TV was then shut off.
The blonde woman then appears in a hologram and says.
Holographic Blonde Woman: "Hello, and welcome to Beacon l!"
Yang: "Who's that?"
Holographic Blonde Woman: "My name is Glynda Goodwitch."
Yang then forms an oh shape on her mouth.
Glynda Goodwitch: "You are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy. Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future Huntsmen and Huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now, it is our turn to provide you with knowledge and the training to protect our world."
The hologram of Glynda then turns off.
Ruby: "Wow!"
Daniel and Yang look at what Ruby is seeing.
You can see a giant castle on the ground below the ship.
Daniel: "Look, you can see Signal from here!"
Daniel puts a hand on Yang's shoulder while Yang has her hand on Ruby's shoulder.
Yang: "I guess home isn't too far after all! Beacon's our home, now."
All of them looked over and saw a blonde guy who looked sick and was about to throw up.
Daniel: "Well...I guess the view isn't for everyone."
Ruby: "It was a moment while it lasted. I wonder who we're going to meet. I just hope they're better than 'Vomit Boy'. Oh, Yang, gross, you have puke on your shoe!"
Yang: "Gross, gross, gross..."
Daniel and Ruby: "Get away from us! Get away from us!"
